The run away....

Holding her throat she watched the movement of the person moving around in the room. Hearing the fridge and seeing the light she got a little curious... What was he going to do with her? Shivers ran down her body and soon she was being pulled to sit and then told to drink. A light whimper came from her, it was then that her nose got a whiff of what was in the bag. Feeling her teeth shift in a totally different way than normal. It was like something was coming to the front that was never there. "No... Why would I want to--" before she could even argue the matter she lunged for the bag she gulped it down, taking every last drop down, squeezing the bag until there was no more to get out. Some blood drizzled down the side of her mouth, her eyes had finally went back to her blue and she looked up at the man. Yes, now she could tell it was a man, his voice told her it was a man.

She then got her senses back and jumped off the bed putting her back to the wall. "What...What did I just do?" the tone was scared, confused. She put her hand to her lips and realized there was something there wet...Bringing her hand to eye level she screamed. It was blood. Body shaking, Katie felt around the wall, looking for a way to escape. She had to be dreaming, this was all a nightmare. Why on earth would she need to drink that? Tears streamed down her face, this wasn't happening right now, why...this all made little sense. Inching closer to the door her small frame shook. The light was very little in her, if there was light at all, her eyes had gone back to normal, meaning she could see like a normal human, of course they adjusted to the darkness, but nothing like before. "Where...is it?" it was lighter than a whisper.

The only thing she noticed different after that...horrible thing she did, was that her burning in her throat was gone as well as the pain in her stomach. This was all very shocking to her. There she was, in a complete strangers room, or whatever it was, and she drank-- her brain wasn't able to wrap it's self around that part yet, what was going on? All she knew was that she needed a way out and quick.

((Sorry this took so long, had a hard time thinking of things after I was sick with a stomach bug for 72hrs.))

Takeshi cringed a bit at the shrill scream she emitted. He was expecting no less however, at the same time he was relieved she drank and didn't put up much a fight. She had some control however she was able to resist the urge for more, even after going so long without anything. Of course this is what he thought, there was no way to tell if she had snuck out at night sometimes when there was a full moon and she lost control and had a snack. It would have been far more difficult for a young one such as herself not to have had blood for so long without losing herself to the blood lust. Little by little he watched her features return and she was then running away from him, she had no idea who or what she really was... wonderful.. this could get ugly.

His steel gray eyes followed the small girl as she tried to find the door for the room, she was still able to see in the darkness a bit but he could tell she was beyond frightened, however if he let her escape from this place in her state she would be killed in seconds. A blink later he was standing between her and the door to her freedom, he was foolish to keep her hear, but in all honesty no one would some to her rescue if she screamed and fought. He was certain about that much, so he would have no issues regarding other vampires that is of course if she didn't escape. Now the hard part was to tell her what she didn't want to hear, but not all of it. He needed her to trust him, not to go running from him at the very sight of him.

"I know you know nothing of me, and I'm not going to get into greetings or anything of the sort, I should however warn you that if you run out of this door, screaming in fright you will only attract unwanted attention from creatures much like yourself that would have a party just to rip you into shreds. I do ask for you to calm down, I know far more about you than you may know about yourself. If you would listen for a bit I will bring you back home myself safe from harm, you may even forget you've every seen me if you so wish." His voice was gruff, it had a tint of tiredness in it, he wasn't about to let his guard down in front of the girl considering he may know what she was, but he wasn't all that certain he knew what she was capable of. He could fend her off he knew that much, but she was never going to trust him if she got away once.

Her long blonde hair wrapped around her face as she turned her head to see him face to face with her. He was right in the middle of her and the door, darn it. Looking at him, as best she could, she listened to what he had to say. What did he mean what she was? She was a normal human...who was...sick by the looks and sounds of it. "I'm...I'm nothing of what you speak of. I am a human being." She whispered. Taking a deep breath she realized her smell increased, she could smell the blood. Not once could she remember ever being able to smell that. The shaking began again, her legs no longer able to hold her up, letting them give out she slid down the wall and stayed slumped there. What was she to do? If this...man, if she could even call him that, was telling the truth about her going out that door and her being torn to shreds, how was she going to go home. Her parents had to be worried sick about her, searching for her even.

What Katie didn't know was that the pureblood vampire had awaken what she truly was. Her memory might be gone of whatever her past was but it could only hold back her vampire instincts for so long. With the vibe of this pureblood walking the streets when she was out was her destiny, she could change nothing and nothing would change who she truly was.

Taking a deep breath, Katie looked up at the man and then nodded. She hoped he'd be able to see it, her voice was almost not there. As she spoke it was a blankness, no bubbliness, excitement, nor did she have a normal tone. It was like her feelings and everything were just shut off. If this man was right, what life was she living these past 6yrs with her mother and father? Were they lying to her this whole time or did they not know themselves?
