Melanie watched his movements and kept her eyes on him and her mind open. If you have her get her out of there. I'll be fine... I've been on my own for six years and yes that is your baby girl. She said with as smile. But she soon whipped it clean off her face and then drew her sword, "I can fight, I have been doing it for years. I would be prepared old man and I hope you don't try to hurt the little one or the man." She said her eyes glowing red and her senses ten times more sensitive now. She was ready to kick some a**, it had been so long she she has. She grinned an evil grin, fangs and body ready. She disappeared and then was on the tree branch next to him and slammed him into the tree trunk. She whistled and a horse came back, she whistled again and it took off again. Baby take the horse and let her lead you to the castle. She should be able to hold both of you and what you need to carry. She said to Satoru. Take care of her love... keep her safe.. She was almost talking like she wasn't going to be home ever again.
Asami helped him up and then hugged him. But then she nodded, Yes I can hear you.. But we have to go and Mama is holding them off.... She thought to him and then the black mare was here and she looked ready to ride. Asami lifted her hand and the mare came closer, she helped her father up and on his feet and then on the horse. She grabbed his weapons and hopped on. Papa if we can get Mama on the way then we will be alright... But if not... I'm not sure if she'll make it... She thought. She was pondering if she should tell him how long it had been since she had had blood of any sort. Papa.... Mama....She's... She's been without blood since the day she left... She thought to him and started the horse in a dead run. She needed to get to her mother but also knew the horse was trained to go home with the sound of a whistle.

Gurgeh gave a grunt as he struck against the tree, obviously she wasn't falling for any tricks, ought to have known. Gurgeh pushed forward and drew both of his blades, flinging out the line from the bottom of the right one, it hit perfectly wrapping around the hilt of the womans sword.
"I would love to stay and fight you to my death, but I have a girl to capture" he said with a smile and then, with the the line still wrapped around the hilt of the woman's blade, he took off.
Gurgeh knew she would try to pull him back on the line, but it wouldn't work out for her, he had braced his arm and was aiming to take her sword with him. Even if she did somehow possess more strength than him he would simply sever the line with his own blade. If she had to use a horse to get here she shouldn't be faster than me, and I think she sent the horse after the girl, that could be a problem. Hopefully Gelthras can get off his ass and do something about that...
((OOC: Of course I'm assuming you want the girl captured to move the plot along.))

Satoru listened to Mel through his mind and nodded, I would have guessed as much then He replied back to her as Asami helped him up and pulled him into a tight hug. He wished he could do more, right now he felt so useless, numb and stupid. These idiots would pay with their lives once he retained his normal self once again. He listened to Asami next and nodded, Yes, you're correct, I need to have more faith in her at a time like this. He told her back as she helped him onto the horse that seemed to come out of nowhere. He tuned back in to Mel's voice again and heard as she told him just to hang on, the horse would do the rest, but then her tone changed. Mel.. what are you talking about? Once you finish these ba**rds you will be right behind us. Don't talk as if this is the last time we will be speaking together, I haven't even seen you yet. Just seeing Asami is not enough. He was beginning to grow angry with himself now. Not being able to move was putting a ton of stress on him, he shook his head, Melanie if it's the last thing I do it's going to be seeing your face, I won't be happy with anything else. If you even think about dying out there I will not forgive you. He said back, though his anger was seeping out, in turn missing the comment about her not having had blood since she had left him. He hoped it wasn't too much, but she was being a bit dumb but he tried not to think about it because he knew she would hear him. He looked up at Asami with a bit of strength, he had to get rid of this stuff in his blood.
He looked down to his wrist and could move it just slightly. He had an idea but knew he was being stupid at the time. He hated being left out, carried to safety ha, not in an eternity. He bit down into his wrist and tore it open, doing the same to the other. Letting the blood rush to them as he hung them to the side of the horse, the blood gushed out of either as he tried the only thing he could think of. He closed his eyes and started to think about the liquid flowing from his veins and out of the open wounds. His magic started to work in his favor and slowly but surely did as he told it to. Little by little he was beginning to get feeling back into his limbs, as his magic worked to the best it could. Sorry Asami, I know this may not be the best to show you, but I'm not sitting around waiting to be attacked. He somewhat growled to her as he was still quite angry with Melanie. She was back to her old ways, placing everyone in front of herself, even in turn placing her life on the line. Well he for one wouldn't have it. not when he had found her again after six long years of searching.

Melanie saw it but had no time to react. He was after Ami and Satoru. He's coming your way!! I can't stop him, he has my sword and I can't get there fast enough... I'm to weak. She was about to let go of her sword but ended up getting dragged with it. "sh*t!!!" She was stuck. She ran and ran and finally caught up with him, she was on the edge of just collapsing and things, but she had to stop him before he got to them. Satoru.... Can you move? She asked kind of out of it now. She hadn't done any thing like this in a long time, since the day she left. Then her eyes got wide, she could smell it, even if they weren't close she could smell it. "No...... Satoru...." And then she just let go, she finally let go of it and took off towards Satoru's blood. Her mind was no longer with her, she was nothing but a hunter looking for the prey. It had been so long since she had some of it and now she was so close she could taste it on the tip of her tongue. She saw the horse, it was right in front of her now, but the only real thing she saw was the blood flowing out of his wrists. She took her chance and attacked him, knocking him off of the horse and on the ground. She didn't give him a second to act, she bit down, her fangs at full length, and started to take what she wanted and needed. She moaned as it when in her mouth, over her tongue and down her throat.
Asami was listening to the things that were going on around them, then he was talking about it not being right and her eyes got wide. She didn't care about the blood or rather wouldn't have if it wasn't for her mother not having any for six years. "PAPA NO!" She yelled but was to late. He was gone and the horse started to freak and bolted off. "PAPA!!!!!!" She yelled, trying to stop the mare but was going from a command. It wasn't stopping until it got to it's destination. Mama... STOP!!!!!! She screamed and then her eyes got even wider when she saw him. He was right there, the horse stopped dead when he appeared in front of it and Ami went flying off but caught herself before falling on the ground and landing in front of the guys feet. She started to bolt the other way. "PAPA! MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!" She kept going but would soon lose this fight. I'm sorry Mama, Papa... I failed..... I'm so sorry.... Where her last words until there was a scream.

Gurgeh jerked as he took the woman with him, he grunted, he wasn't expecting her to be able to hold on. He jerked at the blade and started to draw the line back into the bottom of the blade, with her blade locked up on his line maybe, just maybe he could incapacitate her. But then the woman let go, and rellik started to move faster as the weight was gone. Oh, now she's trying to outrun me, not if I can help it...
Gurgeh went as fast as he could, panting hard, each breath a gust of wind from his lungs. And then he was closing in on them, and the woman did something he wasn't expecting, she takcled the man, who appeared to bleeding. d**nit, maybe she cares more about the guy, an where in the hell is Gelthras! Gurgeh gritted his teeth, he hated running, he was hoping he could get the young one to do the dirty work.
d**nit, do I have to do everything myself thought Gurgeh as he pulled the extended line into his hands. He threw the blade, just missing the girl as she stood up, having fallen from the bolting horse. And then he pulled the other end of the line into his hands. For brief instant as he landed on the ground from the trees he was right next to the girl. A blink of an eye's instand, but in the instand he turned and gave her a smile. And then he was gone, grabbing the other end of the blade.
The line started moving rapidly as it was taken with Gurgeh again and then it hit the girl's legs, tangling with them and an instant from dragging Asami with Gurgeh.

Satoru heard Melanie's words in his mind but then the connection broke. he assumed she had collapsed but before he could do anything he found himself flying off the horse and hitting the ground hard. He looked up in time to see the horse bolting off with Asami still on it and Melanie pinning him down. Preventing him from doing anything. He tried to move but then felt a sharp pain in his wrist. Melanie's fangs. I should have known. He thought appalled by her steadfast ways and her stubbornness, not having had anything for these six long years, unlike most vampires sure... but she still needed something. Getting her off of him wasn't an option, she would run him dry though, but he had to bear it. It tore him apart to hear his baby girl screaming and yelling at her mother for attacking him. He stayed calm. Asami, stay calm baby. We will save you. I can see I was foolish to do what I did. It seemed to have only attracted your mother instead of help me. He paused, Please hun, just stay calm, we will be on this guy's trail in no time. Your mother will be stronger than ever and everything will be back to normal in no time. I promise you, we will save you, even if it cost us our lives. He broke off his conversation with her, but still kept his mind completely open for any replies she may come back to him with.
In the mean time he looked down to Melanie who was still taking her fill in his blood. he could tell she hadn't had any in this long while because of the way she was consuming it. Her fangs delve deeper than they ever had, it was almost too painful for him to bear. but he held strong and tried once again to move. "Mel, you have to get a hold of yourself. I know how hard this must be for you, but if you don't hurry along we will lose our baby." He cringed slightly as he felt her fangs shift yet again. She was concerning him, if she didn't stop they may lose her forever, and he had made a promise that they would get her back. No matter what there was no way those idiots would have her. He clenched his free hand into a fist, he would have his revenge. He tried shifting his weight to move Mel off of him, but wasn't having much luck. He had however gotten most of the fluid out of his blood that was holding him back. most of the matter was Mel's weight and force to keep him in his place. There was no fighting a hungry vampire.

He ran up beside Gurgeh speaking in the drow tongue, "You had best have a d**ned good explanation for why you brought the child old one. Your little shenanigan may cost us the surface raid that we have been planing for the glory of Lloth. And if you have, then I will not protect you. If you lose her favor, then to every drow his own death. I will not put my family's standing with Lloth on the line for you."

Asami heard her father but wasn't sure if her mother would let him live through that. She needed the blood and was going to take what she needed, and that could mean sucking him completely drying him up. Papa.... I am scared. She said in her mind to his and it sounded like she was scared. She was already down on the ground and the chain was around her feet and she was going to be dragged. Papa, promise to find me... I just finally got to see you... Please. She said and then the other man came and she whimpered. She wasn't sure what they were going to do to her or what they wanted her for, or what they were going to do to her. She closed her eyes tight not wanting to imagine what they could do to a six year old girl.
Melanie could hear her little girl screaming in her mind and asking for help and to have her stop. But her mind was so far gone from doing the right thing that she just kind of.. Left it be. Every time Satoru tried to move her grip got tighter and she went deeper with her fangs. But soon, she started to get all dizzy, she closed her eyes and moaned, it felt.. Like she had to much to drink at dinner or a party. She stopped and pulled out... "S...Satoru?" She asked shaky and blinking a couple of times. She got off of him and then kissed him. "I'm so sorry... Can you move, where is Ami, is she alright? Did you get her ho--" she stopped herself as the voice replayed in her head once again. She knew she had lost her and had to find her. "Come on... We have to find her... I... I can't lose her." She said and then got up only to wobble and fall over. She kept her eyes closed.

Satoru cringed more so as Mel continued to drink his blood, he listened in his mind and finally heard Asami's whimpering. Love I promise to follow you, you need not worry about me. You may not know me too well but I don't give up or die easily. I'm a vampire after all. He thought with a grin knowing she was more frightened with each passing second, but until Mel got off of him he was quite useless. He started to growl under his voice, a low but evil one. He knew it wasn't going to scare Mel, but he had this little habit when he seemed to be in a useless situation. He tried to shift his weight but this time Mel came loose. Pulling out and unpinning him. All until she leaned in and kissed him. He blinked a few times himself before refocusing on her.
He nodded slowly, "I believe so." He said inching to his feet, he had lost a lot of blood between Mel's excursion and his own attempts to free himself from whatever the fluid was that was keeping him down in the first place. "She's been tak..." He paused, too late to catch the fallen Melanie as he kneeled by her side. Her eyes were closed. He felt for a pulse... light but still there. Mel, hun can you hear me? Are you alright love? He called to her through his mind, figuring it would be better than annoying her with a loud voice. It seemed to him she may be out cold, from too much blood flow from one session. It occured to him that she may possibly need to get home instead of chasing two goons on a wild goose chase. For the moment the best plan they had was to return home and figure out a better one. He would leave Mel at the castle and search for the two on his own. He nodded to himself and picked her up. Easy love. He thought as he knew she would already be reading his thoughts and wish to stop him, but this time he was more than serious. This time he would be the one to leave her. Well not intentionally, but to bring back their little girl.

Gurgeh shifted the girl to his shoulder, quickly making sure she was unconscious, and glared at Gelthras. Intending on being a useless fool, so be it. Gurgeh stopped, coming to a sudden halt on a thick branch of a healthy oak tree, and stood, the leaves surrounding him and the girl, his face set in a determined glare.
"I don't care about that woman, I've served my time in the court, and I have no intention of helping her after she so quickly left me to die in the old wars. So if you think I give a d**n about your barbaric surface raid you are mistaken!" said Gurgeh in a aggravated tone, his tone low and murderous.
They appear to have stopped, I believe that they've stopped following, so I shake this useless one first and go to the city, where natures powers will be diminished, hold out for a ransom, or better yet collect a sum from one of her enemies for the girl. Yes, all is well Gurgeh, now if this fool strikes I'll just deal with him with one of my many tricks...
((OOC: Long overdue, Ik but lately I havn't been in a 'murderous elders' mood. And Bala to your accusations!))

He clicked his crossbow and a bolt flew straight from his pocket at Gurgeh, "For your blasphemous words against Lloth I give you no chance to explain." He drew his weapons and sprung into action his movements a blurring flurry of weapons.
OCC: By the way Beta, if I was playin the drow like I was supposed to and they did indeed want the girl captured to move this plot along, then you almost ended it just now;P. He wouldn't have fired his crossbow as Gurgeh, it would've been at the girl. I'm toning it down a bit for y'all. Your welcome;P

Ooc: Thanks Bells! I'm trying but things have gotten a bit busy with me and well....... I think I have a new job comin so I'll be even more busy! YAY!! It's working with horses so I'm super excited, but anyways. I've come to work on a post. So here I go!!
Melanie stirred when he started to talk in her mind and then she felt herself being lifted. She opened her eyes and was listening to his mind the whole time. She didn't mean to but while she was trying to reach Ami but failed. She failed at everything, taking her away, saving her, and then she may even fail at finding her. She felt a tear or so run down her cheeks and then hit Satoru's arm. She looked at his face and just kept a stare at him. "You can't go alone...." She whispered, knowing he would hear her with his senses up pretty good. She hated herself, she wanted to just crawl up in a ball and cry. "I screwed up big time Satoru.... Really big this time." she said almost unable to hear. She didn't want to go home she wanted to chase down the bast&rds that took her. "I can't just sit there and wait Satoru, you know that. I'm not going to just wait and hear things from you off and on all d*mn day, it's not happening." She said with a growl now. Then she grinned, "So, where is the castle, have you found it yet?" She knew she was being very mean, but she also knew that he hasn't found it yet and was going to have a hard time to find it right now. She hoped he didn't find it and had to ask her soon for the right place. "Satoru, stop.... Put me down and I can run with you and we can talk. I-- I miss talking to you and I'll lead you to the castle." She said softly. She hadn't once talked to him through his mind, she didn't want to, she wanted to hear his real voice, not his mental one. She waited for him to growl and stuff like that and be stubborn, she knew it was coming. She hoped he didn't change to much. She was just as stubborn as he was and was ready to fight/argue with him if she had to. Then she remembered something and whistled. She heard it, but she couldn't see her. She waited and then struggled to get out of Satoru's arms. She finally managed to get out and she stood there until the black mare came out and was covered in blood from Satoru. She was flaring her nostrils, she was upset and was glaring at Satoru. She took a step and then put her hand on her face and closed her eyes. "Come on, we'll get there faster if we take her." She said grabbing the reins and then mounted her. She nodded her head telling him to get on. The horse was still uneasy with him but she stood there. "We need to get there fast so I can get some things and we can look for Ami." She said a bit tired but she had to work hard to get things done and she needed to go with him.

Ooc: Good for you! And no worries on the matter, i know it's tough for everyone to get on now a days.. I'm still trying to find another job, went to one place.. a summer camp sort of place, and the had no openings, but my mom has connections so hopefully ^^

Satoru looked down as she finally calmed herself then blew up at the mention of leaving her behind, "I won't have it. Seemingly it was your foolishness that got you to this position in the first place." He growled as he held tighter to her through her struggling, he would bring her back to the castle and leave her there. "Your telling me I can't go alone when you know full well that I would be fine alone." He was growing angry with her and it was showing the more she struggled. "I have my weapons back they have nothing they can do to me now." He growled as she finally asked about the castle. It only upset him further, "No, and it's probably for the better, if your lover cannot find it then how could anyone else?" He glared at her for a moment as she found a way to slip out of his arms and he skidded to a halt. She whistled and a black mare stood in the shadows, covered in his blood. He glared back at her as she stood there. "I refuse to ride a horse when i can do this on my own. You had Ami for how long without sharing or even allowing me a glance at her. It should be up to me to save her." He knew he was being more stubborn than he usually was, but this time he was putting his foot down. "I'm not going to waist anymore time standing her talking with you." He said looking back to the trees. "I'm following the scent while it's still fresh." He snarled, his features were back to their vampiric ones now as he bolted off through the trees. His wings appearing and giving him a boost as he sped off, not even glancing back once.
Though in his mind he was still talking to her, Look Melanie, it was my stupid idiotic ways that let you walk out of my life. I won't have it happen again. Wether or not I'm in your life, I want to be in Ami's. I cannot stand for this any longer, stubborn or not I'm going to do this on my own. He finished as he flew through the trees.

Gurgeh moved, ever so slightly to avoid the side, to avoid the small piece of iron the shot from Gelthras crossbow "Try me boy" said Gurgeh and then he drew his blade, only one, holding the unconscious girl with the other.
So I'm at one hell of a disadvantage, but I'm not going to back down to this fool. Of course I could always run, not that that's my first option. But the hell I'm passing up this opportunity. Gurgeh bent his knees slightly, assuming his fighting stance and leveling his blade across his eyes.
"Your move..."
((OOOC: I'm playing this as if Gurgeh is going to hold the girl hostage, asking for ransom. But obviously hats not going to work out, so I intend to kill Gurgeh fore' this plot ends. But I intend to take it past this thread))
