Kali looked down and sighed softly. A few strands of hair hiding her face. "It's nothing i wish to get into, Reako..." She pulled away from him and straightened herself. "I wanted to ask about the magic in that book. If you would be willing to teach me." She smiled and turned back to face him. "I am always open for learning something new."
She needed something to do while the Vampire Lord was distracted with this upcoming war. Kali knew that by going down this path, her life would be changed. Nikolai had long since gone and she was so very bored.

"Very well then, I will not speak of it anymore," Reako couldn't help, but wonder if she wanted him to kiss her, he shook his head slightly he would not think on it. "Alright, you want to learn my families magic then I shall teach you," he said as he snapped his fingers and the book appeared in his hand,"but remember this magic is derived from emotion, when I looked into your eyes I saw nothing, well have to bring forth the eomtions out of you once more if you are wish to learn these magics."

Kali sighed and began to walk towards her house. The snow made a soft crunching under her weight. Her jacket seemed to fall away from her. The shirt underneath barely covered. Almost all her scars were revealed. "That won't happen, Reako." She held her arms out, looking up at the snow.
"I have not felt emotions in centuries. I do not wish to start now." She looked at him over her shoulder. A few strands of hair fell across her eyes. She looked so very much out of place in this winter wonderland. She looked of the sun.

Reako turned his head away from her his hat now hding his face almost completely from her, he took one step back and the book vanished,"Then...I'm afraid this one piece of knowledge you may never learn," he said softly as he turned from her and began to walk,"Everyone has emotions, when you suppres them yes you become a better killer, but many thing will remain out of your reach...forever."
he walked away his pact with her still remained, he knew she had emotions she expressed a little when she call for him, as to what she wanted him for evaded his thoughts, he would remain connected to her until she wished for him not be.

Kali watched him go. The snow began falling a bit more rapidly. She was annoyed. She was angry. Her emotions gone a long time ago. All rising back up to the surface. "Reako.." She spoke his name so he could hear her next words. "I did not ask to be a killer. I was forced into the position."
She closed her eyes and she walked up the steps to her home. A wave of sorrow washed over her. She stumbled and began to cry. The crimson drops on the snow, staining it. Kali leaned forward, arms wrapped around her, and she simply cried.

he only smiled when she began to show anger and told him she was forced to become who she was, her tears did not fall unnotticed for he was there behind her his voice only a whisper to her ear,"We are only what we want to become, you may be a killer, but you don't need to continue such a path for the rest of your life," he placeda hand on her shoulder.
her tears he could smeel and see stain the white snow with crimson color, he stood behind her waiting for her responce, if she was wanting to cry she could cry on his shoulder if she so chose.

Kali was nearly touching the snow. The pain was far too much for her to bear. Her anguished cries muffled by her hands. She didn't want to feel anything. She knew it would be too much. She looked up at Reako, cheeks stained. Glasses off. "Are you happy now, Reako? There is a good reason why i do not feel this!" The last word screamed.
The snow began to fall harder, wind whipping around them both. She slowly got up and began to walk towards her home. She only made it to the stairs and she curled up, burying her face in her hands. "I know everything i did. I felt the pain i caused as if it were my own. I had to do that."

Reako seemed unaffected by her screams and he only walked after her, but this time he knelt besdie her and placed his arms around her,"You can let it all out you need not live with these emotions bottle as you have them," he whispered to her his head laying on hers gently,"Let the tears of your fall freely, you will only be hurting yourself ore if you continued to hold your emotions in."
he cradled her in his arms hoping she would understand that this is what he actually wanted for her to be open to him to free her emotions around him. he wanted to take some of the burden from her shoulders, he wanted to take her pain, her suffering and mend her mind and body of this stress she had bottle up for so long.

Kali clung to him when he wrapped his arms around her. Her face in his chest, muffling her crie. The bloody tears stained his clothes but she had no care. All this pent up sorrow was killing her. She had tried to keep it at bay since she was turned. Since she saw her village burn.
"Y-you don't understand, Reako." She managed to choke out. Her fingers digging into his arms. "You have not seen what i have or done what i have. I know the legends." Kali couldn't stop now. She couldn't talk. In fact, she was growing weaker. She'd have to feed soon.

he continued to cradle her as she cried into his chest not caring that her tears were staining his clothes he gave small kiss on the top of her head his hadns rubbing her back. he knew what it was like to hold his emotions in he could only imagine the travesty she was put through.
Reako listened to her as she spoke,"That is why i want you to help me understand your past, what you have been through, what you have done to keep yourself whole," he said softly,"I had a hard life as well, Dear Kali, my clan killed, murdered, my family slaughtered before my very eyes," he spoke softly to her as he continued to comfort her. he could feel her growing weaker by the second,"Kali you will need to feed soon..."

"But you do not know me, Reako. You know that i have used your family name and that is it." She looked up at him, hair covering most of her face. "You have no connection to me whatsoever. Why are you here? Why are you comforting me?" Her voice faltered, shaking.
She took a few deep breaths. "I will not worry about that. There is no need to." A few more breaths. "I am only weak because of my tears. Kind of bad for vampires to cry.." She joked softly and rested her head back on his chest.

Reako only shook his head,"I feel like I have know you long enough, it is fine you have used my family name if you hadn't I would have never been her for you as I am now" he only smiled,"I do have a connection with you wether you think so or not, the moment we met I swore to you that i would be at your side no matter the cost," he said softly.
"Yes well i will worry about that I don't want you getting to weak," he said lifting his forearm to her,"only if you see it that way, I use to be a vampire remember if only for a short time and I still need to drink blood to sustain my being."

Kali looked so very confused. "But why would you?" She couldn't think of anything else to say. Why was he here? Why did he even come to this place? He made a promise, a pact he must keep. His kind knew no other way. Bounds by laws not made by man or vampire.
She loosened her hold on him, sitting up again. The tears beginning to cry on her cheeks. He had been a vampire. Turned by magic into something... she shook her head, not wishing to think about it. Even if he hadn't made the pact, she knew there was something between them. The kiss had proven that.

he smiled at her,"Because I care about you, I don't know why but something insisde me tells me that you are very precious to me, and if that feeling is true then I want to be able to protect you," he said softly cupping her cheek in his hand gently.
"I want you to tke some of my blood to keep your strength, because now that you have expressed your emotions I can teach you my bloodline spells now," he said softly as he held his wrist out to her.

Kali just looked at him. A blank expression on her face. "None of this makes sense. You shouldn't even exist and you say i am precious to you?" She shook her head, so very confused. She leaned into his hand, his touch.
When he offered his wrist, she backed away. She shook her head. "No, Reako. I will be fine. I've gone without before. I can do it again." Kali smiled softly and leaned against the railing of the stairs. She was a bit weak but not so much that she had to feed now.
