Riiya looked back at Mitsu with a I don't know face. Though it was quickly followed by a 'silly me' expression, Riiya started to pant. His tail swayed from side to side as if he was a dog, waiting for his master to order him.
"Well... how about we go to another town? To a different place...maybe?"
"I mean finding your future and past is sorta a hard thing to do."

Mitsu nodded, "Perhaps your right." She said looking around, she hated to lose hope of ever finding out what happened way back when, but maybe Riiya was right. maybe it was something so horrible, so cruel that it would scare her and they were mearly protecting her. Of maybe they just didn't want to tell her. Either way, she was still curious, was that so horrible? She wondered as she started to their left, only guessing at it, though she had a feeling Riiya may be better at navigating than she. She looked back at him, "This way is good as any..right?"

"That way leads to a town. I'm done there, but we can go," Riiya scooped Mitsu onto his back and started off. He ran swiftly without matking a scene. Riiya slipped through the back way and entered the town's gates. "Here."

Mitsu was about to suggest they take another route so that it was new to the both of them. But found she had no time as he scooped her up on his back and was entering the town within seconds. "Okay, or we can go anyways." She smiled, making sure her ears were covered before slipping off Riiya and standing up. She looked around slowly wondering if anything here would seem familiar. Walking out of the shadowas her eyes searched the area, but nothing came to her. She looked back at Riiya but then started through town, maybe there was something she was missing. Or maybe she was just thinking she wanted to find something so badly she was believing it. Either way she continued.

Riiya turned back into a human. He stretched and followed after her, "Does anything come to mind?" He caught up with her and looked around aswel. "Maybe we can go find a historian that knows about this place. Maybe your acnestors came here, or certain events that happened here might relate to you." A sea of people crossed the street and passed them by, Riiya gently moved Mitsu to the side so she wouldn't be carried away.
"Be careful, there's a big population in this town."

Mitsu nodded slowly as she saw the people then felt herself being moved. She blushed when she looked to Riiya, "Ma..maybe this was a bad idea then." She whispered looking away. She was starting to have second thoughts about her past. Maybe it was meant to stay unknown. She wsn't sure what to think now, eveything seemed to never make any sense anymore. What should she do? What would Riiya do in this spot? She looked over at him again with questioning eyes, moving here hand to his.

Riiya grabbed her hand, "If you curious about your past, then don't let second thoughts waver you. You already know what might happen, but do not let that bring you down okay? I'm here with you and I'll protect you," Riiya flashed his usual heroic smile,"and that's a promise!" Riiya began to walk, "Let's go find that historian. They may be at the town hall, or the library, or the Commerce building."

Mitsu jumped slightly as he took her hand, she looked into his eyes and nodded slowly, "Your right, I'm sorry. Everything is just so different not knowing everything when someone asks me a question about my past. It makes me look like I'm liying or something." She said looking away as she blushed slightly, wondering if he thought she was lying as well. Then he promised to protect her and she looked back with pinkened cheeks, "You would protect me? Even if it comes to me having a....something past." She said unsure of where she was going with that one. She nodded, "Okay, then lets go." She said as she follwed him, keeping their hands connected and swinging slightly.

Riiya smiled as they walked. It was wonderful holding the hand of another again. The memory of him and Samus came to mind again. How they loved each other, but decided not to love. Eventually the twosome made it to the town hall, "They should be here, I suppose." Riiya opened the door, still keeping his hand connected to Mitsu's.

Mitsu sighed lightly as they came upon the town hall. She looked at it for a few minutes before walking in as Riiya held the door for her. She walked in bringing him along as she did. She looked around like a lost kid in a huge store, "Wh..where do we start?" She whispered to him, making it much like a library where everything was so quiet. She was lost, not even sure who to ask, or what about.

"How about we split up. You ask the people that overlook the history of the town, and I'll look at the recent events. Oh, and tell me your last name please." Riiya released her hand, "Don't worry, everything will be okay."

Mitsu nodded as she looked at him feeling him release her hand. "Rikuyo." She added after a minute before turning towards one of the counters, and askinwhere she could find the people who keep the files on history and such. She was pointed down the hallway. She looked back once before making her way towards the room. Once walking in she went to the conter and asked for the books containing her name.

Riiya went the opposite direction, he came up to a woman at a desk. "Excuse me, am I allowed to view past events that happened in the city?" The woman nodded, "Yes, but why?"
Riiya was taken a back for a moment, "Oh, I am just looking for information of this family. I have permission from one of the family members to look up past events. You see, one of the members has memory loss and is looking for the reason why this happened." Riiya looked over the woman and to the books that towered above him. He suddenly looked back and continued, "So I'm looking in the city events to see if any casualties or cases happened here that might be linked to them, is that okay?"
The woman nodded, "Sure, can you give the last name to make things easier for you?"
"Rikuyo..." the word Rikuyo felt weird on Riiya's lips. It was as if he wanted to say his last name instead.

Mitsu wandered towards a heavy door and pushed it open using a bit of her own weight. She walked into a brightly lit room with thousands of shelves of books, all organized neatly. There were tables and couches scattered around and there were a few people sitting around the large room. She walked over to the desk, "Excuse me sir." She said mealy, the man behind the desk turned and smiled at her, "May I help you Miss?" She nodded, "Yes I was wondering about the family books you have here, are they open to look at?" She asked and he nodded, "Yes they are, are you looking for one inparticular?" he asked tilting his head ever so slightly, "Yes, the Rikuyo family please, that is if it exists." He smiled, "Alright give me just a second to look it up and I will help you find it." She nodded as he started to type on his computer, clicking the mouse every so often.

Riiya waited as the woman prossessed the name. "I'm sorry, but nothing has happened relating to this family." Riiya nodded, "That's alright." He bowed in thanks, "Thank you,"
"Your welcome, and I'm sorry that I couldn't be of help. Though, you can still check the books." Riiya nodded, "Sure, maybe I can find out about her by date." Riiya turned and left the room, searching for Mitsu.
