Mitsuki was frozen to the spot for a second, he told her yes? She blinked a few times as she allowed it to process in her head then she smiled. "Sweet girl hmm? So your allowing me to come along and search for what I may be searching for yes? I think your the sweet one in this situation." She walked over to his side and then passed him in the direction he was heading. Tilting her head back slightly to see if he would follow. "If you must know I am searching for something, something important that I never knew." She started as she found he was following her after all.

"I won't pry into your life, but I do have a guess. Could it be about your past? Ironicly, I'm looking for my future. I do not know how long I'll travelng words to complete my list here. So far...it's been only a couple of days." Riiya laughed a bit, "So...you're going to lead the way huh?"

Mitsu paused and turned to look at him, "Ho..how did you know?" She asked a bit confused and embarassed that he would noptice she was only playing. She smiled a small smile. "I..Uhmm... welll yeah." She looked away blushing, "It is about my past, I never knew it. I was in a comma for a while and my father refuses to tell me how it happened and why." She shook her head as a slice of anger bubbled up but she pushed it back down. She looked back at Riiya, "Though I have no idea where to even start looking." She said frowning now.

"Nor do I, but that's the fun part. We discover places along the way." A nice small breeze blew across the field, the lavender swayed and trees bristled around them.
"Looks like they want us to get going," Riiya said grabbing Mitsu's hand, "Shall we?"
Riiya suddenly lifted Ritsu unto his back and dashed off as a kyuubi (ninetail fox) but smaller.

Mitsu nodded slowly, thinking to herself that he was right, no one knows where they will end up in the end. She stopped as he took her hand, blushing but then gasping lightly as he changed into a ninetails and tossed her onto his back. She felt his warmth under her as she laid low to hold onto him. "Wow, I'd have never known." She whispered into his ear as she grinned, knowing she could talk to him in either form. She looked around, always wishing she could change into an animal, but she supposed talking to them was enough.

"How do you like the view? Am I running to hard for you? Want me smoothen the ride?" Riiya looked back at her with his fox head. His eyes were deep blue like his mothers, and his fur was completely black like his grandfathers. The flames that consumed his paws were in full blast. His toungue was flopping out like a wolf's. From all these things, Riiya was clearly a mixed breed. His mouth did not move, but his voice was loud in clear.
"Mitsu-kun?"

Mitsu blinked a few times as she took it all in, "I..uh..no it's alright" She said in her soft voice as she smiled back at him. His eyes were the bluest she had seen in well.. ever really. She was dazzled by them, his fur, being black was almost as if he should be evil or something, but then flames consumed his paws as if he were in fire. She looked him over and smiled a bit more. "Your different from most foxes." She said as she straightened up a bit, "But you take care of your coat moreso than most foxes I have met. It's beautiful." She said stroking his shoulder lightly, then blushing after she realized what she had done. "Oh..dear.. I'm sorry. I'm a lover of all creatures, it..kind of takes over sometimes." She blushed and broke his gaze.

Riiya couldn't answer... he was blushing (on the inside) like mad. Finally after coming to a slow stop outside the forest, he could muster words, "Thanks, and it's okay." He stopped for a moment and knelted down for a quick rest. "My grandfather used to run like this...always."

Mitsu smiled and held close as he stopped for a quick rest, "If your going too fast you can slow your pace. I'd hate to see you hurt yourself you know." She blushed but looked at his cheek wondering what he was thinking about. Sometimes she wished she could read minds too. But other times she was just happy to be alive. She looked to the sky and smiled to herself, wondering if she would ever solve the mystery of her past. Now wondering if Riiya would ever find this prize he seeks as well. The future was always up in the air, anything can change in mear seconds. Changing your fate with it.

"I'm fine Mitsu, I'm fine. Just need to rest for a second...like my grandpa my hobby is to run fast. I just love the feeling of the breeze...and the feeling of freedom..." Riiya rolled to his side lightly. He was clearly messing with Mitsu. Riiya's tongue was loling and it made him look like a fox pup. Riiya was enjoying himself. "It's good to be with someone for once."

Mitsu giggled, but was cut off as he rolled to the side without her expecting it she rolled off to the soft ground. She giggled more as she lay on the ground, she landed on her side and rolled onto her back. "Riiya, you must love to feel free huh? I wish I had the oppurtunity to do so as well. But I love myself, being able to speak with the surroundingnature, hearing their soft voices, worrying about the small things in life." She whispered closing her eyes and letting everything flow around her. "Being with someone is always the best remedy for a lonely life." She added peeking over at him with one eye, "But then again, what do I know?" She grinned, "I've been traveling alone for a long while, my parents brought it upon themselves. I mean maybe i'm not meant to know the past. But having a huge blank spot were memories should be is bothering me. Is that so bad to be curious?" She asked looking over at him now, propping herself up on one elbow.

Riiya licked her cheek and rested his head beside her, "It is okay to be curious. That is because it is natural. Your parents...may want to protect you from something that might break you forever. They probably want their little angel safe from something that was probably so wicked, and so heartless that needed to be forgotten." He nuzzled her playfully and rested closer to her lap.
"I was curious about the world... in fact...I still am. This paper is like my guide...my map. "

Mitsu blushed as he licked her cheek, she looked away. Just like a real kiss only cuter, she smiled to herself and looked back. "Break me forever? So their only protecting me..but they have done that my whole life. I'm older now, stronger..I can take whatever it may be...right?" She asked confused, more asking herself then him. Forgotten, hmm... maybe he's right. She thought to herself rolling it around in her mind. Some parts sounded like they fit, but others..well you could say she was more than curious to know the missing pieces to her past. He nuzzled her, bringing her back to the present then inched closer. "Being curious though, maybe it's not all it's made up to be. What if curiousity really killed that cat? I have yet to meet one yet who has had a wonderful life. There's always something..something that doesn't fit, make sence, or worse something horrible happened that they can't explain because they were out cold..or what not/" She look away again and sighed. "I'm sorry Riiya, I didn't want to come to throw my life on your shoulders as well. I..it's just none of it makes sence. I'm a logical elf, I want to know these things for it to all fit.. you know?" She asked, throwing him a puzzled look.

Riiya nodded as she spoke. He shook his head finally, "No, it's alright. I'll help you. I mean, I'm free as a bird nothing will get in my way. I just warned you though about the result of this journey." Riiya stood up and shook his fur, "Well then, ready?"

Mitsu watched as khe stood up and shook his fur, had he planned on telling her that much? Was this all about learning a lesson? She frowned slightly but sat up, "Okay, well at least I won't be alone, and neither will you." She smiled over at him, forgetting her concerns. This was not all about her after all. "Which way should we go?" She asked looking around as she stood up, "I can walk..less you wish to go faster." She hated to weigh him down and making him even more tired so quickly.
