Hotaru blushed, Crap this is harder than I had expected! I need to not talk or something... She sighed a light sigh as she replaced the stuffed fox and hurried after Samus. She started to look around, wandering from her side once more as she just had to find all of the cute dresses. "Samus!!!" She gasped as she laid eyes on one of the cutest she had seen so far. It was a pale pink in color, above knee length, frills all over it and one final bow tying the back together with long tails.
It's adorable!!" She said filing through the sizes to find a small and twirling around with it in her arms. "I'm going to try it on!!" She said as she made her way back to the dressing rooms. Within seconds she emerged with the bow a bit lopsided in the back considering she wasn't used to dressing herself all of the time. "What do you think?" She asked as she spun for the two, a huge goofy grin on her face.

Rei couldn't help but to cup his nose. Samus giggled, "Adorable~! Really adorable! Ah! I need to try something on too!" Samus ran over to the dresses and pulled out a brown dress, it was more of a ball goun [sp?] that was cut low at the top and was long and draped on the bottom. Samus tried it on, she came out twirled around in it. Her shoulders and upper chest were exposed, and her fair brown skin seemed to glisten under the florescent lights.
"I've been wanting a ball gown lately, then again, we haven't been throwing a ball at all this year!"

Hotaru clapped as Samus came out in a gorgeous gown. "We really should!! I think it would be wonderful, it's been so long." She said and smiled, looking over at Rei who wasn't much looking her way, as he was looking quite embarassed. "So you like it Rei?" She giggled as she twirled back into the dressing rooms and changed. "I'm going to find a ball gown then too! I still want this dress though, and you should get that one Samus!" She said as she walked out of the dressing room with her dress resting over her arm. "Rei you should find something too!" She said grabbing his sleeve and dragging him about the store picking up a few things and shoving him into one of the dressing rooms. "I've never had an eye for clothes, but I think these should work." She said and grinned as she watched him disappeare into the room.

Rei came striding out in the clothes Hotaru picked for him. "S-so, are you two dukes or something? I mean, you sound so upper class! And there is no way I can afford such clothing!"
Samus giggled, "You look adorable! I am going to buy this dress, and you should too Hotaru!" she scoffed at Rei's comment, "Yeah right, like we're upperclassmen! We're just girls that struck it rich in the lottery that's all! We're splurgen~!"
"Ah, I see! Wow, you girls have great taste in fashion!" Rei looked down at himself and looked in the mirror, he liked what he saw.

Hotaru giggled, she really wondered now what the boy would thinkif he knew the truth about the two of them in all reality. However that would have to stay a secret for now, and she was... well csomewhat okay with that. She smiled as she looked him over, he certainly looked like Kei, even his name was close to the same. Sounded like him, only Kei sounded more confident in himself, this one just sounded silly, but cute... very cute indeed. She couldn't help grinning like a fool, she really had it tough didn't she? Living it up with her best friend and meeting new boys... she paused, wait... Hotaru turned to Samus. Was all of this planned?
She bit her lip and turned away, walking back to the rest of the store to act as if she was mearly looking around. She wasn't too happy if all of this was indeed planned, however Samus wasn't to blaim for that, it was her father. So did that mean her father didn't like Kei? Was this his way of expressing that? Or maybe there was dnager at the castle... was Maria supposed to attack today and he was just being safe? None of it really made any sense, but she knew one think, she would have to suck it up just to please Samus.

"What's wrong Ms.Hotaru," asked Rei, sense Hotaru's worries. "Ummm...I don't have alot of money, but do you want to go ahead and take a lunch break at the food court?"
Samus watched them, she smiled to herself and turned to leave, "Taru," she called and tossed a cellphone to Hotaru. "Call me if you need anything." With that, she turned to leave.
"They need some alone time. And I need to find my friends~!"

Hotaru blinked, Crap already found out, this boy's smart. Oh well... better come clean then. She shook it off and turned back around to see the worried face of Rei, "Oh, I uh.. no.. it's nothing." She said with a smile to clear it up but somehow she knew he would beg to know more. She was caught offguard as Samus threw a phone at her, just barley managing to catch it, "Sam..Samus.. are you sure about this?" She asked as she watched her walk away, what if something should happen? Heck she was being silly, she was beginning to worry too much. She had to lay back and have some fun for once.
Hotaru looked back to Rei and smiled, "I'd like that." She said walking back to push him into the changing rooms once more to change. "And don't worry about the money, I'm not one to need money to keep me happy." She chimed over the door to reassure him, wondering how all of this was going to work out if he found her out. She would hope he wouldn't but she seemed to be dropping him hints on her real life without even noticing it. She needed to be more careful, or else she would bring the trouble to her.

Rei blushed at Hotaru's touch, "U-um yeah. Sure!" He quickly dressed back into his regular clothes and headed out to the mainstream.
"The food court isn't far away, let's just step on this conveyer belt here." He reached out to grab Hotaru's hand.

Hotaru giggled as she waited for him to return then followed him out of the store and looked around to see if she could spot Samus, but she was long gone by now. She smiled as she paused to wonder where to go next when Rei made his move and reached for her hand. She gladly gave it to him and smiled. Making a little hop to join him on the conveyor belt and needing to tighten it as she swayed from the movement. "Oh, wow.." She gasped lightly as she steadied herself anf just happened to move closer to him to help herself out. "I really need to get out more I guess." She said a bit embarrased.

"I wish I could've met her." grinned and looked down at Hotaru, "You okay? Oh, I think you're not used to the conveyer belt. We can get off and walk if you want."
The belt led the two to the directory that teleports customers.
"The food court is HUGE, so let's go ahead and decide on what to eat." Rei was becoming more open and confident now. I can tell already we are going to be good friends.
"Will you do the honors and press the button for food court?"

Hotaru bit her lip and looked from Rei, "Yea...yeah, fine." She said a bit saddened to hear stories of her mother and not be able to confess that the Queen was.. or rather had been her mother, still is.. but yeah. She sighed a light sigh and compossed herself once more looking back over to Rei who seemed to be gaining more confidence in speaking with her, she just had to smile at him. He looked so much better when he was taking charge and had that confidence in himself. "Wonder, yes, I haven't been here many times before... if at all before all of these came into play, but this is fine really." She smiled as she looked around until she spotted buttons by the thousands, she gaped at them then at Rei... "Uh... wh..why don't you." She said finding her cheeks pinken as she was so stupid that she couldn't find the right button that was probably right in front of her eyes.
Hotaru waited as they grew closer to the 'vanishing point' as she liked to think of it and found herself growing closer to Rei without even realizing it. She had grown so close that she had wrapped her free arm around the one that had already been holding her hand. Not even really knowing she had, as she just felt right. Almost as if Rei had been her brother, and she was mearly clinging to him like in the old days where she seemed to lack her own confidence. Hearing stories of how she would be next in line and not Riiya, it had scared her to think of that. She had always felt really close with Riiya and it pained her when he had left her so long ago. Still having her own "list" on her desk in her room, she looked at it countless times, but never knew where to begin always wondering what mom had wanted them to learn from it all.

Rei noticed Hotaru's arms and blushed like crazy. He quickly controlled himself and let out a sigh to bring him back to earth. "Here, let me show you," he gently grabbed Hotaru's hand and made it touch the button for food court. Immediately they teleported to the grand food court that appeared to be its very own outside mall.
"Nice isn't it? Hard to believe we're inside the same mall right?" He smiled, he had noticed Hotaru getting blue when he talked about the queen. I bet her Mom was like the queen somehow. A kind spirit,
"I don't know what happened, but cheer up okay?"

Hotaru blushed as Rei changed his positiuon to grab her hand and move it so that they both pressed the button for the food court. Once they arrived her eyes lite up once more, "Wow... this is the food court? I..It's huuuge!" She gasped as she slipped her arm from his and managed to drag him along closer to inspect it all with curious eyes. Only realizing what she had done when she heard his voice once more. She paused and looked back at him needing to bit her lip to not speak out the truth. He had noticed her fumble, she wondered if he had figured it out yet. Only he seemed not to have, she nodded, "Yes, I'm sorry Rei. I don't mean to keep worrying you, it's just a sore subject is all." She attempted a small smile as she looked back to the food court and started to run her eyes down the long list of stalls that were located in it. Wondering what she felt like at a time like this.

"No need to apologize Ms.Hotaru," Rei smiled, "That place right there is really good!" He pointed to the nearest restaurant that had words written in italian on the sign.
"Best pizza in the world! Also have good pasta too." Rei looked down at Hotaru again and fell in love once more. She was just so adorable with her bright eyes as she gazed about the food court.
"You don't get out much do you?" he asked teasingly.

Hotaru looked over to where he was pointing, "Pizza huh, I haven't had a good slice of pizza in forever!" She grinned as she was already scanning the menu, "That sounds like a plan then." She was starting back over to the place when she paused to look up at Rei, "Heh, no.. that I don't." You don't even know the half of it. She thought with a grin, if only he knew everything she had been through. She'd have to see how far they went before she would ask Samus about telling him. Not that it mattered, he would probably freak out and run around like a chicken with it's head cut off.. then again maybe it wouldn't change anything, who knew.
