Age: Unknown, looks 36ish most of the time, older when he's tired
Species: Shapeshiftor, human
Status: Wife: Allison (Alu) Who has recently past away, in other words he's single but will never take another.
Appearance: Considering the matter of being a shapeshiftor he can look like anything. However he normally keeps his human form, he prefers the look of his younger age when he was with Alu. This being the look of a younger more mischievous boy. Only keeping up this appearance when he has the energy, otherwise his real age gets the best of him and he looks much older.
He has long black, fine hair that he normally keeps back held with a pony tail holder. He's very well built and usually has no problem when females are around, even when they know of his past. It keeps him busy when there is nothing more to do.. working out that is. He wears a tight navy top with gold designs, void of sleeves. White shorts beneath them, and a long robe like jacket that came with the job showing his status. Only he normally never wears this except around his waist. Once you see it on him however, he is tired or is addressing his people. This being a creamy white coloring with red and gold deigns covering it. Beneath it he wears a skirt like thing that is actually his armor, once his robe is up he hides the armor beneath it. Being a navy and gold in coloring. Lastly he wears arm and shin guards for protection, matching his other gear. Normally wears navy sandals in the summer and something more appropriate in the colder seasons.
Personality: Ryuu isn't really that bad of a guy. Yes he can be rough with girls and really doesn't know the meaning of love, but everyone can be taught. He loves picking fights and most of the time is covered in blood even if it's just a little bit. Is there a soft side to this so called "sweet guy"? Or is it perhaps not possible for him to love? Ladies I'd steer clear from this one, he has a tendency to target females for some odd reason.
However with his newfound position as the King of Amoira he has changed considerably. His wife, Alu has done much to change him into a big softie. He has however, stepped up to the plate as Alu died protecting the kingdom. He took over once she was gone but has never forgotten her. he is now much stronger and much sweeter. Though with all of the troubles he has been having re establishing the kingdom he has grown older and more weary of his age.
Abilities/Skills/Weapons: Ryuu's main weapon is his sword, he never goes anywhere without it. He does have a few tricks up his sleeve a few hidden daggers here and there but his sword is his baby. He had stolen it from his father after he did what he did to him. Not for the memories, but simply for the power. Is also a born shapeshiftor, can morph into anything of his choosing. Other than that he knows a bit of magic, nothing huge considering he relies on his sword and shapeshifting powers.
History: Ryuu has a troubled past, with his love of picking fights he eventually killed off his mother. It was his intention to kill them both off but his father made him a deal. Though this deal was nothing but pure evilness, which really didn't bother Ryuu at the time. He eventually went along with it and waited to see what would happen next, though he knew it would only get better. He doesn't like to talk about his past considering it's not perfect, but then again no one is perfect.
Once he met Alu everything changed for him. She showed him the light hiding within himself. Though he hated her in the beginning he was drawn to her. He eventually fell head over heals in love with her and learned of her own royalty. He joined her on the throne and they married each other. During that time, times grew rough and unstable. the kingdom as they knew it was fading, crumbling beneath their feet, literally. Alu had failed to tell him the truth about her truly holding the entire place on her back. She was the old kingdom, however she soon passed away when the dragons stirred at that given moment and attacked. Thus the downfall of the old kingdom and of Alu. Ryuu was in mourning only for a while considering he was up to take control. With the help of the befriended dragons they rebuilt the kingdom and made it better. He became the king of those who wished to rejoin them and slowly rebuilt their trust with him. To this day he is still shaky. His daughter, Hotaru being next in line for the throne, for reasons unknown to the people.
Recently there has been even more trouble stirring pertaining to the female Riiya has grown closer to. Ryuu suspects it has something to do with the past and has every intention to take down the source, no matter the outcome.

Favorite Form:
Ryuu's absolute favorite form to take on is one of a grand red dragon. He's larger than most dragons in this form and can vary the size of himself. On the back of his neck and top of his head are vicious looking spikes of a golden yellow. This still allows many to ride his back when in need, but are used for weapons. Much like the spikes on his tail of the same coloring and use. His claws are massive and very sharp. His teeth are also very sharp, used more for weapons than anything else.

So sad. We should roleplay 'memories' between Ryuu and Alu sometime. Just the make the old, lonely, widower happier. Good job.
