Tsukiko swam to the depths of the ocean, she was tired, cold, and completely lost. After having run from all of her problems, she promptly ran away from home. Life wasn't fair for her and she wasn't about to think it was. She shyed away from anyone who tempted to even smile at her. Her life was a living h8ll and she hated it. She was crying, tears streamed down her face, only in the water you could never really see it. Her eyes were red and her cheeks a pink. She finally came to a stop and threw herself on a rock, crying her eyes out. Away from the world and anyone who did or ever would care about her. She was done with it.

She growled at herself as her own stomach betrayed her. Needing to swim back towards the surface to grab a bite to eat. She swam closer to the surface, but not too close to be noticed by the life outside of the water. Being a mermaid she had the ability to control the water, but also was bestowed upon the power to change to a human, though she had never tried it before. She wondered if anyone was at the surface.

Yuuki sat in the sand, his hair down, and in a large shirt big enough to be a dress with his swim shorts underneath. He looked very much like a girl, gazing at the sun set with his soft, red eyes. He wondered about his sister and his father. With a sigh, he stared at his reflection in the salty waters.

Kiko swam a bit closer to the water's edge, she wondered more and more what lif would be like on the surface, but never really had a chance to escape it all. That didn't mean she wasn't about to try though. She nodded to herself and quietly emerged, breaking the water's surface. The water rippiling all the way over to where Yuuki sat looking at his own reflection in the water. Kiko instantly sunk back down, but realized that it may just be too late.

Yuu snapped his head up, catching a clean glance of a mermaid and stood. He rubbed his eyes before calling out, "Anyone there?!" He shouted in a girly voice. He seemed much like a girl with his girlly face, long hair, and his soft, squishy voice. He walked closer to the water, the waves now crashing onto him.

Kiko heard a murmer from the surface, had she been seen? Her father would be upset if that was the case... but maybe not. From what she could tell this human was not male, she seemed nice enough. She swam a bit deeper down and changed into her human form then swam back up. Her head bobbing out of the water just as before. She smiled a friendly smile as she started out of the water and towards the beach.
