Hotaru wandered tjhe forest a bit ahead of her body guards Daichi and Sora. It had only been a few days since they had been assigned to keep watch over her. Sora was always being sweet and very attentative to her every move. Daichi on the other hand was a bit..well he sometimes disappeared, but always showed up when something was wrong. She skipped along through the forest as the sunlight shown through lighting her path. She paused after a bit to let the two catch up..or at least Sora, Daichi seemed to be slacking once again, but what else was new. She giggled as she twirled through the pathway not even noticing the impending doom of what lay ahead of her.
It all happened so fast, the rocks were there, then nothing but the warm fresh air with a him of sea water. No time to scream. The rock slipped, she fell, airborn for what seemed like seconds before she hit the water, full out and hard. Having no time to change form before her eyes closed. Pain found her, engulfing every part of her as the dark cold water slipped through her lips, filling her lungs rapidly. She sank, deeper and deeper there was no escape. Who would have though her life would end with suck a fall into the deep, dark abyss of the clear waters of the ocean. Was there no end to the ocean? Would it continue? Sweeping her out further and further yet? Would anyone save her? Would there be time? Nothing phased her as she sunk moreso, she was out cold, unable to speak or even move from the initial shock of hitting the water at such a height and speed.

Daichi was over head, watching over her silently. However, when she fell in the river, he nearly jumped out of his shoes. He flew down to the ground, folded his wings, and dived in all in one motion. He speed to drag her to the surface, and to safety. Dragging her to stable ground. He loomed over body a few moments before bitting his lip. "Stupid...girl.." He mumbled before bringing his lips to her's. As soon as she was breathing again, he smirked in triumph, only to jump and grow red. He quickly stood up and ran, not noticing he left something behind......
He ran past Sora, who looked at him in confusion before speeding up a little to see what was going on. However, instead of openingly going in, he softly stood behind a tree to observe the situation.
(After everything is done, like hotaru seeing the necklace, etc)
He nodded to himself in note, figuring out what had happened. He put on a smile and walked out, "Went for a swim, Hime?"

Hotaru only awoke to a pair of warm lips against her own, she sat up after that coughing up mouthfulls of water. He cheeks were pale white but slowly regaining their color. She looked around after she was breathing a bit better and the water was gone. Her cheeks were tear stained and her hand landed on a necklace. At first she pulled back her hand, "Huh?" No one was around so who left this? She picked it up and turned it around in her hand it was beautiful. She smiled as Sora came into view and she stuffed it ionto her dress pocket, she'd have to figure out whose it was after. She looked to Sora she looked like a drowned rat, she touched her lips with her hand wondering if it was Sora who saved her, then figured it must have been. Daichi came around a bit later and she glared at him, "Swim.. are you crazy? I fell...at least I think that's what happened." She said somewhat dazed as she felt light headed and had to lay back down, "So much for a nice day." She said as if upset with the world. Unbeknownst to her the necklace was half out and showing in the sun from her pocket. Easy to see if some one was looking for it.

Sora chuckled a little, and daichi simply glared, and walked ahead, not even glancing to look at her. Sora blinked, but the necklace soon caught his eye. His eyes grew a little, but he appraoched her with a smile, "Where'd you that necklace?"

Hotaru blinked a few times as she looked at Daichi, makes since he woulden't care.. she shook her head, why did she care so much what he thought? She sighed then looked back at Sora, he had noticed the necklacxe, she looked down to her pocket. "Oh.. I found it when I came to. It was next to me.. why did you drop it?" She asked, wondering if it was him why he wasn't there when she woke up. Nothing was piecing together now, it seemed impossible that either of them would have such a beautiful piece of jewlery with them, obvious the woulden't be wearing it. So who saved her? And what of that kiss? Or was it even a kiss.. she looked to her hand that held the necklace and frowned. Her stupid clumsiness always got the best of her, and now she was tripping off cliffs and falling into the ocean. It's a wonder she wasn't dead, she knew she hit the water, and if it had taken who ever longer she'd be dead. She shook her head clear and sighed, "Now I really wanna know what happened.. who saved me?" She mumbled to herself as her head swam, it hurt so much.

Sora glanced at her, "Oh...." He chuckled. "Its....nothing....much..." He smiled, "But..." He paused and inched closer. "I wonder if Daichi hates mom and dad.." He mumbled, setting a small misterious trap, before rubbing her head. "I'm glad your safe..." He gave her a soft, bright smile before reaching for her hand ushered them forward without letting her ask questions.
Sora had a plan, and it was sure not to be heaven-like for Daichi.

Hotaru nodded slowly, "Uhm.. yeah.. okay." She said as she looked to him and blushed as he touched her head lightly then took her hand. She stood up and wobbled slightly but then looked over at him. the slight blush still on her cheeks. She could only wonder hat he had in mind. And where did Daichi think he was going? She slid the necklace back into her pocket wondering what Sora meant. She had only seen good things from him.. was there a side she ditected that was a slight bit evil?

"OI. I'm going to leave you behind." Daichi yelled angrily and impatiently, jumped down natural steps of nature that were wet, but firm, from the water fall.
"Oh. Coming!" He called, heading for the hedge as well.

Hotaru was left to ponder a bit longer before the two were out of sight. She slowly realized this matter and hurried along after the two. Still dripping wet and her dress was very much sticking to her legs as she ran. She must have looked completly aweful, not to mention the sand in her hair. She shook her head as she caught up to the two, she was barefoot now, having lost her sandles in the fall. She felt as if she had sunk into the sea, she was just glad her dress hid everything and not to worry about anything being too seethrough. Now that would be troublesome.
