Life in the Castle

[Animebella]

Akemi watched her as she seemed to slip back into her daze again. Now he was curious as to why she would as something in the first place. He brought back the memories of his parent's stories about the Lycans, though nothing in particular seemed to stand out to him. So why would she wish to know if he knew of them? He was about to ask her when he noticed she was humming once again. A beautiful but sad song, he wondered where she had heard that one before. Though he had to admit it sounded much like a song e knew dear to his own heart. He smiled a small smile before closing his eyes and allowing her humming to take him away to a land where his parents were still alive, more of a mear memory. He was a young boy and was being held in his mother's lap. He didn't even know that a single tear had escaped, racing down his cheek as he thought about it.

Mika hummed the song and had been out of her daze for a couple of seconds.She looked over at Seraph and watched a tear fall down his cheek.She walked over to him and squatted down and watched him.She hummed the song again and again knowing it was probably louder now that she was closer to him.

Akemi heard the music cease but before he opened his eyes it was back again, but closer and clearer. Another tear fell down his cheek and he sighed lightly before the memories faded and he opened his eyes, only to find Mika squatting infront of him, watching him with interest. He wiped the tears away and attempted a smile, but it was no good. The sadness had filled him up inside. "Mika, do releive me of my wonderings, what is the name of that beautiful song?" He asked with a light voice.

"Its was my mothers lullaby for me,"Mika replied.She smiled at him.She was full of sadness but she won't let him know.
"Would you like me to sing another song for you?"Mika asked.

(Ahh, sorry for the delay.. I had completly forgotten that this one was behind the others.. my appologies.)

Akemi nodded slowly as he found the song to be beautiful and yet full of sadness, "Yes, that is if you don't mind. I'm not one to force anyone to do anything they wish not to do now." He smiled at her as the sad moment had passed, "Then perhaps I can show you around the place." He said as he leaned back waiting to see what she would do.

Mika nodded and went over the songs she sang in her head.She found a song called "We live We live"By SuperChick.She thought it was a good song so she sang it.

Akemi leaned back further to comfort himself as she started to sing a song. He didn't quite recognize it until a bit into the song. He found himself closing his eyes, humming slightly to the song in his head. A perfect choice if he did say so himself. Once she had finished and he heard her moving he looked over at her and smiled. "Well sung my dear." He said in a soft voice as he too stood and stretched. "Well then, shall we?" He asked proposing she go first as he followed to walk out and show her around. "I'll show you around inside then show you the wonderful garden. I can also offer you something to do around the castle to earn some extra money if you wish. There's always something to do." He smiled as he started down the hallway ahead of her and started to point out all of the rooms. Sounding quite cheerful actually.

"Thank you,"Mika replied.She nodded and followed Seraph.She thought about for a moment.She could use the extra money for many purposes.She nodded as each room was pointed out to her.
"So what would this job be might i ask?"Mika asked Seraph.She looked at him as she waited for his answer or reply.

Akemi slowed to a stop to talk to her, he smiled as he turned towards her. "Well I suppose it's anything you want it to be. Cooking, cleaning, guarding, patroling, anything your truely passionate about?" He asked her, he wanted to be sure that shall she be working that she liked it. "You could even play and sing at the cites' festavels.. or whatever." He smiled at her again as he wondered what she loved to do th most.

"Might I ask when is the next festavel?"Mika asked again.She really loved to sing and entertain others.She nodded listing to the other options.She probably sing at the festavel since she can.And she thought about helping some of the maids and servents with the things they were suppose to do.She might even help a servent go and get the food from the village.She loved the village's food.

Akemi racked his brain for a bit before finding the answer, "I believe it's next week... perhaps, maybe sooner. I can look it up for you though, they usually hold them once or twice a month. I normally attend to see how everyone is fairing. Sometimes sending in some of my own leads to help them out, so you'll fit right in." He smiled at her, "Is that all though? I should be better at this, but I try to know most all of the angels here to have their approval of me. It really upsets me when they think poorly of me."

"That would be nice of you to look it up for me.Well i was thinking of helping the maids and servents with some of the things their suppose to do at times,"Mika replied.She shook her head to clear out all her thoughts.
"I dont think poorly of you at all.I have my highest respect to you,"Mika told him.It was true.She respected him greatly.

Akemi smiled at her, "Your a sweet girl, you really are." He said and looked down the hallway for a second before he looked back at her, "I think that would be a wonderful idea, once you are settled in I can set you up with the dates of everything, and you can take a walk to the places around the castle." He smiled, "Your room will have everything you need and with the money you earn you can build up your closet to obtain clothes you'd rather wear, we can only give you so much considering theres so many living at the castle." He started walking slowly, "I want to show you something." He said looking over his shoulder as he called to her to follow him.

Mika nodded and quickly followed him.She didin't mind she could buy herself her clothes and besides if there is so many people living here she wouldn't mind letting those who need them have them.She could try to make her own clothes.It would be hard and fun at the same time.She could always ask those who know how to help her.

Akemi looked over his shoulder a few times as he lead her down a flight of stairs and rounded a corner, coming to a stop infront of a large pair of heavy doors. From the sight you could tell the room would be completly soundproof from the outside. Allowing anyone to make as much noise as they pleased in the inside, but keeping the peace from the outside. He looked over to her with a smile before he pulled them open, before them lay a vast library of sorts. A three layer one, thousands of books were in shelves that expanded above their heads, chairs, tables and couches lay scattered around. That was not all though, in the center lay a beautiful grand piano. He walked over to it and ran his hand across the top. It was an ivory white in color. He looked it over in awe, he loved this piano, it was one of his best memorie of his parents.
