Appearance: Ikovi has the build of an intellectual, he is thin and weak. Though Ikovi is tall he is not a fast runner or built in any way. His face is soft but not girly, he wears a thin pair of glasses and can usually be seen in casual unadorned clothing
Personality: Ikovi is Salanim’s older brother, and the first born son of the Roknish family. Ikovi is kindhearted, but not overly so, he has killed before, and if the situation calls for it, will again. However do not mistake Ikovi for a blood monger like his brother. Ikovi is a commander, who one day plans to become a governor; he currently commands the Roknish guard forces, which includes Salanim
Ikovi preserves life when he can, and takes it where needed, he is not a war-time commander. Ikovi also possesses a large amount of medical knowledge, sometimes traveling with Salanim on lighter missions and attending to wounds of various people, usually not Salanim though. Ikovi does not despise the vampires as a race. Just the one’s he has to fight.
Abilities/Skills/Weapons: Ikoni is a horrible fighter, and seldom fights because of it, if ever. Though he is a talented medic and commander. Ikovi carries a ceremonial sword for defense and formal purposes, and usually a small pistol is he is deployed somewhere.
History: Because Ikovi was the first born he received different parenting the rest of his siblings, he basically grew up inside the library. Nothing in his childhood and teen years is really notable, up until his sister was attacked Ikovi had the pleasure of commanding the Roknish family guards. A job that entailed doing nothing. At the time.
After Salanim became a vampire hunter his life picked up a little. He would help with the investigation of where exactly their sister was, and he would send Salanim out when needed. After the third year Salanim had a reputation, and one night an attempt was made to kill Ikovi and his brother. Luckily the guards and Salanim were able to hold and afterward the guard was given more attention.
Ikovi later became much more ambitious and at tentative to his duties, and one day Salanim brought home a captured vampire. It was a young child whom had surrendered to Salanim, one who knew nothing. However Salanim, who had gone several years with no luck in his quest insisted she did.
Ikovi ordered his brother to kill or otherwise release the boy, an order which was refused. Salnim proceeded to happily torture the boy to insanity. It was at this point that Ikovi became that while Salanim seemed happy and perfectly okay, he was in fact completely insane. Ikovi snuck into the boy’s holding cell and killed him, and afterward kept a tight leash, and eye, on his brother.
Other: The guards will usually refer to Ikovi as ‘commander’ or ‘CO’
