Personality: Yami is a Mage. As such, Yami acts in an aristocratic manner — he seems always serene and apathetic towards other people, even when he is actually deeply conflicted.He is also extremely calm, even in battle, and is very seldom surprised by even the most drastic of actions. Ironically, when he was younger, he was quick to anger and very hotheaded. Yami strongly believes in law and order.He feels that if someone in his position does not follow the rules as a good example, then no one will follow them. He believes that to maintain the order, all law-breakers must be punished, even if that goes against his own wishes. In spite of his icy and regal manner, Yami cares for and protects those important to him. As astonishing as it may seem, Yami seems to have a comedic side,finding humor in the most drastic of situations.
Abilities/Skills/Weapons: Yami is a highly perceptive fighter, being able to almost immediately determine an opponent's attack patterns and weaknesses. He is also crafty tactician as demonstrated from how effectively he uses his Magic to confuse his opponents. Having trained ever since he was 4,Yami possesses great proficiency Martial arts. Yami has displayed his knowledge of high level spells, able to cast several in quick succession without the hesitation and with almost no effort and still possessing formidable power.
History: Yami has suffered a lot during the course of his life, having not been raised by his parents (whom he knows nothing of), but rather a grouchy old woman who constantly complained about being stuck with him.At a very young age, the lady sold him to an old sage who mistook him for a Spirit Charmer due to the permanent mark on his forehead. The sage taught him the ways of magic, even though he discovered that the symbol was deceitful; it was Just a birthmark, not a Spirit Charmer. Nonetheless, he continued only because he was nearing death and felt the need to take an apprentice for himself before he expired. Yami excelled in the magic arts and emerged much better than a child his age should have been.After the sage died, Yami, ignored by many people and deprived of attention and basic needs, wandered earth alone until he found a small abandoned house.With no where else to go,Yami claimed the place as his own.

Roleplay Sample:The rain smashed down heavily through the treetops, though he felt nothing of the continuous downpour as he jumped from branch to branch.his violet eyes set firmly upon the shadow moving in the darkness of the forest in front of him. He increased his pace, closing the gap between himself and the monstrosity with one final leap from the night-colored canopies.he approached the grisly scene, he could barely hear the fearful squeals of the innocent soul over the frenzied, high-pitched victory screams of the masked horror. It was a twisted beast, twice his own height, its physique halfway between a giant spider and a stag beetle, malevolent eyes of ruby-red gleaming in the depths of the smirking monster's blank eyes.
Yami praised his timing as the Beast was momentarily diverted from its tasty target, allowing the deathly scared boy to scramble into the relative safety of a nearby hut. The determined Yami leaped to the side as the insect-like monster sweeped one of its clawed paws at him in anger, obviously disgruntled at the violent intrusion. Although he managed to evade the impact of the blow, Yami started to doubt the wisdom in charging to the rescue all alone; the hungry force that this Hollow emanated was rather intimidating, and he was not sure whether he would be able to take the beast down without backup.
