Appearance:
He has purple hair and violet eyes. They are lighter than his hair, but still extremely captivating. He normally wears white open front T-shirts, however, but he also wears name brands as well. For pants Hikaru wears dark jeans. There is also a black brace wrapped around his neck. He wears this just because, no one really knows why.
Personality:
Hikaru is a very sweet guy. After what happened with Kae, he stays with her at all times and put his effort into everything only for her. Even his school grades have slacked slightly because of this. He likes to stay up late and watch her sleep, making sure she doesn't end up flipping out in the middle of the night. Or even wake up screaming at the top of her lungs.
He cares deeply for all of his friends, and would do anything for them, but because he is so deeply in love with Kaede, he has only been doing things for her. However, being one of of his friends is quite hard. He is often distant from others, and a little secretive.

History:
After the funeral incident and the mental hospital incident, Hikaru did his best for Kae. She was sent to an orphanage, but always ran away. She would come back to his house and stay there for the night, then return in the morning. However, his family soon found out. And his mother forced him to leave.
So, he used his collage money and bought an apartment at the age of fourteen for him and Kae. They have lived there for almost three years now, and Kae's halves are getting worse by the second.

He is in love with Kae but will not admit it. He is scared Kae will reject him, but she loves him too, somewhere deep inside.
