Walk in the City of Gardens

[Krisseh!]

Lady Melanie was walking around one of the gardens in the city, talking to the plants and animals in it. She found it peaceful here, not many people would bother her when she was out. She would go from one flower to the next, making sure they were treated right and healthy. She was hoping to meet someone out here, but that didn't happen often, they were either to busy doing other things, or a little nervous to approach her. The day was going into night, and she had things to do, so she was picking up her things that she brought and headed out.

Melanie gave a small sigh. "Maybe another day." She said, petting the rabbit that came up to her. "Sleep well little one, and stay safe." She said, giving it a small kiss on the head and was off through the garden again, dancing and singing her way through.

Satoru's blood red eyes called forth any living creature that dared to cross his path. He was starving and haden't had anything to fufill his thirst in a long while. He wasn't happy he was incredibly angry with the world for no reason at all. He glared at the nearest animal which happened to be a squirrel. It spooked and scattered up the nearest tree. Satoru's stomach gurgled and he sighed angrily. He felt somewhat faint as the rays of sunshine shone through the trees. He let out an angry growl before pouncing onto the next thing he saw, killing it as he roke it's neck and consumed it. Once he finished he looked down, what had been a rabbit lay motionless in his hands. Tossing it aside he continued through the trees, nearly colliding with Melanie.

Melanie heard the screams of the rabbit, was knew she was to late. As soon as Satoru bumped into her, she had her sword to his throat and she was going for his hands to hold him in place. "What makes you think you can come to my lands and kill?!" She said to him, her eyes going to a glowing green. Her sword was a dark green, and the handle was a lighter color green. She already knew what he was, the thing she didn't know was why he was on her lands.

He wasn't going to be able to move, she made it so he was embedded in stone, not even his strength could get him out, not until he paid for what he did to the animals. She had her sword to his throat still, not daring to move it. "Now, what are you doing here?" She asked, her eyes still glowing green, but now they had flames in them.

Staoru's head was lifted to stray from the tip of the sword that was now at his throat. His eyes were still red, not completly satisfied as the rabbit just wasn't enough. His eyes scanned the women that had held him up and almost laughed. She looked younger than he..what a joke. He glared at her, "What giveds you the right to claim these lands as your own?" he growled. "I see no signs or markings claiming it as your own." He stated with a deep growl. "Your toys and tricks don't scare me." he said plainly after a minute of wishing the sword wasn't almost imbedded in his neck. He wanted to push it away. To fight this joke if he had to, but something held him back against his will. "What is this? A mear women will hold me back? Who do you think you are!" He growled growing angry now, his eyes flashed a deeper red and his fangs were at full length. He wasn't about to answer her question until she answered his. he had no intentions of bowing down to a women.. helpless.. weak.. and a waste of space.

Melanie giggled, she almost couldn't help it. She could hear his heart beating a little faster. "I own all of this land and many more..." She said, trying to keep her giggle in. If he didn't have me living he wouldn't know where to go, he wouldn't have anything to eat. She thought to herself, angrily, she was sick of this childish sh**. If he wanted to live on her lands, he had to follow a simple rule. But then again, vampires could never follow that one, she suppressed a sigh and spoke a little calmer, she couldn't act like a child anymore, she was Lady Melanie. "I'm am the skies, trees, and many other things. Now, what are you doing here and why have you killed?" She asked, in a tone that she hated using. Her eyes went down a bit, but she never moved the sword. "I don't need any signs... I am the sign!" She said, then the loose rocks around her started to float, and the people that were close to her started to scream and run.

Satoru grinned, "Acting all high and mighty now? What a joke." He looked at her with a grin that looked more like he was baring his fangs at her. He hated people like her, who thought so much of themselves and were only acting like this to get attention. People like her sickened him to the extremes. "What do you care what I killed anyways? I'm a vampire, would you rather I feed on the helpless humans? I've had enough of these foolish rules trying to contain us! Don't you know what I am? Vampires! We're everywhere undercover trying to act like these humans! It's disgusting to do something so vile when they smell so tempting you can off and kill on in a matter of seconds and no one would know what happened. We were put on this world not for ridicule. I know how everyone hates and is scared of us.. it's disgusting." He was outraged. "People like you give us a bad name, telling us what or what not to do.. we may be tied down to thei thing you call the Earth but no one said we enjoyed being here." His eyes flashed angrily as the growl only grew louder yet.

[Krisseh!]

"So, you want to live in a world were you can hunt and feed on your own will?" She asked, though she already knew the answer. She wasn't childish, she wasn't all high and mighty, just making sure a war didn't start up again. "Fine, leave, hunt, see what happens to you precious vampires!" Then she let the stone go and flung him into a brick wall, breaking it. She was glowing with green fire around her, it was as bright as the sun. Though, it didn't harm the earth, only Satoru. "You guys have a choice, the one that created you d**n things had a choice, but no! He wanted a war! He wanted to own everything!" She said, her anger building up more and more. She wanted him to learn a lesson or to die, he was here to kill, nothing more. He was wanting a blood shed, she could feel it in his movements. She got closer to him, waiting for him to make his move, "Come on you coward! Attack me!" She said, holding her sword and free arm out to the sky.

"What is wrong with me? Why am I acting so strangely? She asked herself. She was never this into blood shed, she was the one trying to keep the peace with all worlds. She had to stop herself, she couldn't act like this, it wasn't her nature. She was screaming at herself in the inside, but her body wasn't listening to her, it was out of her control now.

Satoru glared at her some more, "What are you saying you'll create a world like that just for me?" He growled, "You seem to know everything else in this stupid world." He paused seething, "Don't you think we would have tried to find a place like that to subside in if we could have? Humans.. everything holding us back. The Lord himself tries to hold us back, all he ever speaks of is peace and what ever other crap he plays. Trying to make us look like angels with black wings.. as if." The next thing he knew he was flying backwards, the rock hit his stomach as he hit the wall and knocked the wind out of him. He slumped to the ground, though he needen't breath air, it still shocked him.

He took in all of her words as he leaned against the wall in an akward position. His eyes narrowed, given he didn't care for the average everyday vampire now, but for that matter he didn't care for anyone of thing now a days. He lifted his head, back in power and stood up, "What do you care whom created us? It sounds as if you would kill him if you had the chance anyways. You'd kill anyone in your path, your no better than I am. Admit it." He growled, his eyes gleaming red. "Coward ehh? So much for not being full of yourself." It took everything he had to hold himself back from flinging towards her. He watched her movements carefully, it looked more to him that she was possed then actually being herself, but he didn't mention it, he wanted to be sure. He awaited her next attack if there was one.

Mel stood her ground, she wanted him to make the first move. "Know, I created it!" She said, holding her arms up again for a second, but bringing them back down, ready to fight. She wanted to kill the man, the head vampire that created them, but she couldn't, because it was already to late, he got his wish, he made a war, and it was lasing for hundreds of years. She took a step closer, getting ready to guard herself if he did make a move. "I would've tried to stop him, never kill something that was created with me. He was a great man... But once he got his powers, there was no stopping him!" She said, the fire around her getting bigger, larger. "I am better than you!" She said.

Lady Melanie was losing, her power was going down, her strength, she wasn't going to be able to live much longer if she didn't get control of her sword. "HELP!" She called out to him, hoping he would listen for that split second, she couldn't get much out, not with it in control of her. Everything around her was starting to catch fire, it was taking to much magic from her, it wasn't protecting the Earth, it was destroying it, just like the rest of the evil in this land. She was fighting with all she could, but nothing was working, she'd done this before, but it was never this bad, it must have built up all if it's anger and decided to let loose now. "Why now....? Everything was going good...." She thought. She started to give up hope...she started to fade, and as she did, so did everything else around her. The sky went black, the trees started to die, the flowers were no longer there. They gave up as she did....

Satoru watched her carefully as he stood in a pose that suggested he would pounce at any second. "I don't care who created this place, clearly they weren't thinking about the good of all creatures. We can't live without blood.. it's very rare that one of us would be able to survive on nothing but fruits and berries in the wild. It almost can't be done, many of us have grown sick and lost our lives because of that! You know how difficult it is to kill on of us? Near impossible." He spat, angry but holding in most of it. "It sounds more like you werre in love with the idiot, to think he could accmplish taking over the three worlds. The man's a complete nut case. He needs to be taught something but he won't listen to reason, all he cares for is power." He glared at her his eyes narrowing, "I don't believe you.. if you knew something was about to happen why woulden't you stop him then? You would have saved each of the worlds great amounts of lives."

He paused his anger disintigrating slowly as he heard the call for help. Just as he had figured. Something was controling her, and the only thing he could place would be that sword. He looked upon the sword as power, and shook his head. Power made you crazy for more power, he woulden't have it.. but neither should she. It seemed to be taking advantage of her , abusing it's own power.. having a mind of it's own even. He had to do something.. get it out of her grasp, everything was dying around him.. she was fading.. and quickly. He made his move leaping, slahing out at the hand that held the sword. She'd hate him for it in the end.. but it had to be done. He felt his claws hit her soft flesh as he swipped away the sword. Knocking it clear out of her grasp to the ground, he felt nothing as his hand came in contact with the fire. He looked the sword over then turned, e had a feeling the gir would be faint and about ready to keel over.

Melanie laughed, or more like the sword did. " Loved him! Bah! He was as evil as evil could get!" She said, going to strike him, but Lady Melanie had enough strength to stop it from moving. The sword was furious now, it wanted to strike, it wanted blood. The next thing that happened was uncalled for, it was gone and on the ground a few feet away.

Lady Melanie opened her eyes, looking around her. She saw him close to her, but only stayed looking at him for a couple of seconds, her eyes went to the sword. She began to move, but she didn't get far, she collapsed. "What happened?" She asked herself. "The vampire, he saved me...but why?" She was so confused, weak, and tired. She tired to get up again, but her strength failed her again. "Why?...Why did you save me?" She asked in a pained voice, and faint. The thing you could notice most was that the sky was coming back and the same with the nature. As soon as she was back to herself, things also did the same, the birds were singing, and the flowers were coming back out.

Satoru wasn't technically ready to strike of defend himself against the evil sword but he would be if he had to. His back was to it as his head was turned to watch what it would do. After pretty much being saved from it he looked back just in time to catch Mel, he had a slight glare in his eyes but he slowly pieced everything together. Perhaps that was the sword in control the entire time, but he coulden't have been super sure. He looked back to her as she spoke. It was faint, and the weakness was over powering, he could smell it all over her.

"It was apparent none of that was the real you." He said matter of factly. "That sword." He said motioning over his shoulder.. "It's obviously taking over the owner of itself.. you, draining your power and making you look like the bad guy in all of this. I don't know how much of that was you but you were still not yourself." He looked back at her and now was holding her in a cradle against his chest for a more comfortable position on his part. "Would you have rathered I allowed you to die? This wold must be connected to you if it was dying and now is returning." He said as he turned tso he could watch the sword, certain it wasn't done yet.

Lady Melanie nodded, knowing her voice was hard to hear, even though he had super hearing. She put her head on his chest, letting her eyes close. Once they were closed, they were in a house outside of the gardens, the sword was with them, but up on the wall were it normally sat. "This place is safe to talk..." She said, looking up at him, seeing that he was eyeing the sword. "Don't you dare!" She said to him, in a tone of, if you try to pull something I will hurt you. She wanted to be in her castle, but knew she didn't have the strength to get both of them there, let alone herself. She sighed and just had to deal with what came.

"I'm grateful that you didn't let me fade..." She said, looking around her to make sure things were coming back to normal. "If you did... It would be very dark here." She said quietly. For some weird reason, it felt good to be in his arms, she almost didn't want him to put her down. "I'm also very sorry... It wasn't me who said all of that.. I created this world, but I want all living things to get along, and be able to live together..." She said, looking down. She knew that would never happen, not as long as The Lord was still breathing. She started to get light head, she wasn't sure why, but then it hit her, she was bleeding, but where? Melanie looked herself over and stopped at her wrist, it was bleeding, and it was bad. " This can't be good... Not on my part nor his... It has to be bothering him." She thought to herself, trying to find away to get this fixed before she passed out and he got on a blood lust.

Satoru looked around as he felt them move and yet not move. It was a weird feeling but he got over it as she said it was safe to talk there. He looked around spotting the sword thankful it was high on a shelf where it belonged and not in anyone's grasp. He snapped back to look at her as she somewhat scolded him. "You think I would actually want that thing?" He asked in an unbelieving tone. "You've got it all wrong, I hate..dispise powerhungry jerks." Of course he coulden't say much, there was a point in his history that he, himself was more powerful than the Lord himself, but he woulden't tell her that.

Satoru moved his gaze back to her, a part of him wanted to place her down, but another wanted to stand there with her in his arms for a bit longer. Odd.. why was she different from the rest? He shook his head to clear it and tilted it curiously, "Can you tell me who you are truely then? If this world depends on you..you must be like.. the leader of the Earth forces then no?" he was curios to know. It was all piecing together for him, of course she didn't know him yet.. but he was more curious to know about her. He froze as the sweet smell of blood found his nose. He closed his eyes as they turned a deep blood red in color. But he calmed himself, killing her now would be stupid. Instead he opened them and looked around, "Do you have some sort of wrap for your wrist?" He asked in a low growl as he tried to calm himself further. "I had no other choice than to take that sword by force.. my claws got the best of your wrist. You'll need to stop the bleeding before I do it for you." He added.

Lady Melanie was pleased that he didn't want that kind of power. Sometimes she wondered if she wanted it, if she could handle it. She looked down, she felt bad for accusing him of such things, it wasn't that she knew he would take it, it was that many others have tried to take it for the power, she had to keep it safe with her at all times. The thing she wanted to know, is why did it get out of control? Did she do something to upset it, or did it find something it didn't like? She shook her head clear of those questions and started to come back to the present.

Lady Melanie got out of his arms and tried to stand for a bit, making sure she could and to see if her strength was back. It was, until she started to walk, once she got two steps she started to stumble. Before Satonu could catch her, she put her good hand out to stop him, she didn't want him to suffer because she couldn't walk. "I just need to get to the top of that mirror." She said lightly and faintly. Things were going blurry, but she wasn't going to stop until she had her hand wrapped and no longer bleeding. She did get there, and she did get to wrap her wrist. "There... You can stand in peace, without the temptation." She said, bringing a small smile. She turned her face way as soon as she realized she smiled. "Why did I smile?" She asked herself. She got a hold of herself and turned back to him to answer his question he asked before the blood come up. "You wanted to know who I was, well... I am Mother Nature, I control all of the nature around these parts..." She said, sitting down on a chair that just appeared there. "I pretty much am the Earth Forces, if that's what you want to call me, but I much rather go by Lady Melanie, or Mel." She said, looking up at him, then going to her arm, moving it up and down to make sure it was in use. "That's why I lost control of it, it was in the wrong hand..." She thought to herself. "I've been trying to stop this war for almost two hundred years. I finally got peace, and it looks like it's going to be gone soon, if I can't keep myself in order or the world around me." She said, her tone changed, it had a hint of sadness in it, but she covered it up quickly. "You're not hurt, are you? I saw you fly into the brick wall, I'm just making sure I didn't harm you." She asked, looking him over. He seemed to be okay, but most vampires didn't like to show they were hurt, if they ever ended up getting hurt.
