Anne swallowed the pill ignoring the bitter taste and followed. Brutus dived in the sea behind her, feasting on the nearest fish he could find. Anne looked on baffled, "Ok dearie, you do that. But don't make yourself known to others when your done." Anne quickly followed after the two, notincing Bear changing the subject.

Harumi waited a moment for Anne to catch up and smiled. “Sorry about before. My mind is all scrambled from my travels. You really shouldn’t time travel…” she said thoughtfully. “Anyway, it’s good to see you again. I wonder though… how you came across Bear of all people? He does stand out a bit though right?” she asked as Bear walked around aimlessly. He waited for a boat before noticing the two girls talking again. He ignored them and jumped into the ocean, looking for fish with Brutus.

"The last time I've spoken to you was when I just turned seven right before I was kidnapped. I know it's bad to time-trravel Ms.Harumi but I want to help you return to your correct time. Along the way I might be able to find some clues about griffons and about my friend's ethnic group." Anne sighed, as a sea breeze blew by. Brutus was gorging himself on fish and blood was everywhere around him.
"I met Bear when my comrade dropped me off here to split up. I promised my friend I will contact him as soon as possible if I find solid information before we meet up again a month later. As I took in the view and watch them leave, Bear came up and asked if I've seen you. Right after that we remembered each other and...here we are."

"Ms. Ichiro... don't worry about titles though. 'Auntie' would really awesome though..." Her eyes twinkled before hearing Samuel start laughing. "Gave up on having nieces and nephews huh?" he called. Seeing the scowl on her face he ducked back down. "Well I won't pry anymore then. I'm the last person to ask about your past you know?" she asked putting her hands on her hips. "Still, you've had quiet an adventure so far huh...? That's good if anything. Just trying to stay positive..." she fell silent suddenly thinking about it as Samuel swam over to Brutus. He watched in amazement at his fishing skills and smirked. "Pretty good..." he said competitively.

Brutus threw Bear a fish and gorged on his last one before swimminng around the new area. Anne watched in awe, "'Auntie', that would be a first to call someone. My Mother's sisters and brothers are 'far away now', or so she said back then. Though I actually understand what she meant now that you think about it. Heh, are you sure it would be okay to call you auntie?" Anne smiled happily. She turned back to watching Brutus, and her eyes were bright with joy .
"So, are we in the right time?"

Harumi shook her head. "No my dear niece, we are at least a decade behind. However my time machine won't get us where we need to go. We need to actually travel, like on foot." she smiled and hugged her, the way Samuel might. “I don’t mind it one bit. I’ve always wanted a niece!” she squeeled. Samuel looked up in time to see Harumi swinging her newfound niece around in circles. "Hey Harumi, why don't you take Anne to the store? There's a lot of interesting people in town that might know something." Samuel smiled and started nibbling on his fish. "I'll stay and eat with Brutus." he said. Harumi nodded glancing over to Anne. "So how 'bout it? Let's go shopping!" she said, misinterpreting everything Samuel had just asked her to do.

"Oh okay," Anne blushed, she has not shpped once in her life. Sure, she had an eleventh grader's education but never has she once had the freedom to this.
"Being confined in that laboratory fortress, I never really went shopping before. Heh, I don't even know this latest...I mean former fashion." She smiled at the hug and followed behind Harumi happily. 'Niece' rang in her ears as she walked on. Of course she heard what Bear said, so she will ask people for clues along the way.

“Yes well, being confined in a tower when I was your age kind of helps me to relate. She turned to Anne and smiled. “Don’t worry about it. Just have fun okay? It’s good to have some unwinding time before…” she paused to glance at the forest. She smiled and waved before mouthing out a hello and making a sharp turn towards the water to keep Anne’s attention from it. “Let’s see, do you want to go to the one in town or out on that speck of land way out there… you see it? It’s like a small lump over the horizon.” She peered towards it before giving up. “Well my uncle will come on a ferry in… a few minutes. So you better decide quickly or we’re hoppin’ on that boat.” She said sounding cheerful at first before a hint of sadness was noticed in her voice. She coughed and smiled a bit embarrassed. “I’m sorry, I just felt sad suddenly… how strange.”
Bear watched from afar. He glanced at the forest and sighed seeing what looked like a small child, but he knew was really just a warning from her true family. “Oh right, you can’t go into the forest yet...” he thought curiously. He glanced at Brutus and sighed. “Oh well.”

"Let's go on the boat, then Brutus will get to follow us along the way." She smiled and looked onward, noticing something to but in a different terrain: water. Brutus sensed this and looked around the area, ignoring what Bear said for a moment, he looked back at Bear and swam over to him. "A ferry sounds nice," Anne said quietly, "It will be my first time on a small boat. One day Auntie, I'll let you ride the Gateway with my crew. That right there is a promise!"

Harumi’s eyes watered with tears of joy at the title Auntie. With her remaining siblings either lost or dead she had no chance of ever having a niece, until now of course. She blinked them away and agreed, even though she had no clue where the Gateway was. “Right, it’s a deal. In the meantime hang on, Itsamu is coming… Hey uncle over here!” she cried. A strange man came to pick them up. He smiled oddly, giving off a hint of strange insanity and allowed them to get on the ferry after he got a short hug from whom he was told was his own niece. “Don’t worry, his mind is gone but… he’s really a nice person.” She said, describing the man who really wasn’t her uncle.
Samuel watched Brutus and blinked. “What’s wrong?” he asked smiling a bit confused.

Brutus shook his head and pointed over to Anne and Harumi who were departing for the small island. He pulled Brutus onto his back and transformed into a bigger form, amazed at this Brutus cooed and followed quickly after Anne. Anne smiled at this so called 'uncle' , "It's a pleasure to meet you sir, thank you for allowing me on your ferry." She sat down quietly in a seat and watched the beautiful view as they left the dock.

Samuel caught on, but was a bit amused as this was the first time he’d ever been given a ride. He was always the one being ridden. Still he smiled and held on. “Cool! This is more fun than running!” he shouted.
Itsamu glanced at Anne and kept a steady stare at her until Harumi explained. “This is my niece!” she said cheerfully. Itsamu glanced back at her. “Ketaro has children, or have you met your sisters?” he asked oddly. Harumi blinked and shook her head, “No no, we’re related like…” she pointed at him, “Like we’re related get it?” she asked. Itsamu blinked and waved at Anne before leaving a bit confused.

Anne nodded, she is used to such behavior. In the testing lab there were people far worse them him. Anne looked down sadly at her hands, she was a princess that could do nothing for her. She quickly shook her head, no, she can do something for those poor mistreated people. In fact, she is doing it now: looking for clues to release the gryphons.
"Yes, we could possibly be related." Anne teased with a charming grin.

Harumi smiled, “Don’t worry about him. He’s just… well, crazy.” She shrugged as the island grew nearer. She watched it for a while and then, the boat stopped. “Last stop I guess. Ready to go shopping?!” Harumi asked, taking a card from her pocket randomly. It had her brother’s name on it, but she didn’t seem to notice. “First, let’s get ice cream and annoy the guy until he gives us some free samples to go away!” she said, taking Anne’s hand before waving goodbye to her uncle and running off towards the mall. She ran faster before a small motorcycle sped up beside them. “Jump on!” she said cheerfully.

Anne nodded she scooped up Harumi and leapt on herself, placing Harumi down in front of her. She laughed as she did so, with all this strength...she had to do something with it!
"So what flavor are we going to eat? Chocolate mint? Strawberry, Caramel? Chocolate fudge?" Anne was enjoying herself, it has been years since she was this free. Brutus cloaked his appearance and followed them by air. He suddenly remembered Bear was riding him and cloaked his appearance aswell so none will be able to see him.
