Samuel shook his head. “I was just looking for you… why are you leaving then…? Why not create something people will remember you for? It’s safer and, you could stay with us… you won’t have to fight anymore.” Samuel paused, realizing he’d just gone back on what he decided to do. Still he couldn’t help it. Plus he hated to see people cry. After long, Samuel patted Anne on the head. "Well, think about it will you?" he asked softly.

Anne chuckled, "I will dearie." She thought for a long moment and sighed, "Well, let's continue the search! See, the rain has stopped!" A rainbow formed across the sky, and Anne took Bear's hand and dragged him down the street.

Samuel followed, a bit relieved and looked around. It had stopped raining, and the rainbow gave him a feeling of hope. He was happy that if anything, she would think about his offer. Other than that he remembered Harumi. “You think Brutus has found her?” he asked trying to sound casual. He smiled a bit knowing deep down he was excited to see his old friend, but tried not to show it too much.

"Hopefully," Anne said confidently, "Don't worry, I know we'll find Harumi!" Suddenly, Brutus came bolting back, stopping abruptly before Anne and Samuel. "Woooo~" Brutus said in excitement as he twirled around in mid-air. Anne looked at Samuel in surprise, "Could it be..." (did he find her, yes or no?  ) |

((x3 Well, Brutus seems like it.))
A bright yellow dragon followed quickly after Brutus, almost as excited. It swirled around a few feet in the air before freezing up and landing on the ground. It stared at Samuel a moment before tackling him. "Bear chan!" It shrieked, turning back into a small human child. She hugged him with all of her energy before he eventually hugged her back. "Where'd you go...? Joseph stuffed me in that cabinet and left me for days..." she sobbed, trembling as Samuel listened. For a while he said nothing and held the small girl close to him.
"Then I got out and ended up here. Why did you leave me...?” she asked, looking up at him with her large blue eyes. Before Samuel could answer, Harumi turned to Anne and blinked. "...who are you...? Brutus didn't saw anything about Bear having a girlfriend." she said, wiping the remainder of her tears away and hiding behind him.

Anne stood there baffled, she walked slowly towards Harumi. Empty childhood memories came flooding back to her, Anne gently sank to her knees. "Do you remember me? I was the small red head girl that belonged to your old friend Meredith, who is the friend of the late Queen Alu." Anne looked back at Brutus who was twirling around excited and proud of his accomplishment, "I see you became good friends with Brutus already." Anne reached out to Harumi, "I remember an older version of you, I hate to be rude, but what happened?"

Harumi stared up at Anne, pinching Samuel’s sides until he pulled her out from behind him. “It’s a long story… she’s in the wrong time zone… we both are. That’s why I’m so much older and she’s so much… younger- come on, Harumi you’ve got to remember something… it’s Anne.” He paused as Harumi took a good look at her.
She tried to remember for a second before starting to go a bit crazy. “Anne… wait…” she looked at her hands and her eyes grew wider. “If that’s… then why am I…” she fell silent as Samuel sighed. “Her memory was erased a few times during her life. If she doesn’t remember now, she will in a few hours.” He said cheerfully. Harumi stayed quiet and nodded agreeing. “Samuel… why am I small like this then…?” she asked. Samuel shrugged and glanced back at Anne. “Well, anyway…” he said shyly, “Thank you… we’re both in your debt.” He said.

Anne nodded, "I won't leave yet like I said I would. I'll help you two return to your correct times." Anne smiled and grabbed their hands, "Let's do it together. That's what friends do right?" Brutus wooed in agreement and coiled around Bear playfully.

Samuel smiled a bit and shrugged. “Alright, but I can’t really tell you when that is…” he said sadly. Looking to Harumi she shrugged. “Try 2009 H-Town!” she said happily. Samuel blinked and shook his head. I don’t think that’s what it’s called yet, but okay. You sure you’re ready Anne? Anything could happen to you while traveling. You could get younger… or a lot older…” he paused looking at Brutus and stayed calm even while being coiled around. “Brutus too, could get a lot bigger, or turn into an unborn spirit… er… I’m not really sure.” Harumi smiled and turned back into a dragon, to play with him. Samuel watched her half amazed she wasn’t ashamed in her form.

"Heh, being young might save my health a little bit. Maybe I can find some clues about the gryphons in the past aswell, though I need to stay away from my younger self when I get there." She nodded, "Well then, let me pack up, and I also have a question. The question is: when we go there, to the right time that is, how will I get back?"

Samuel thought for a minute and shrugged. “We’re going to 2009 H-Town... that means, although it’s the same time as here, it’s slightly different. Different times sometimes have different worlds. When we get there you’ll have the chance to meet your prior self, changing things can and will result in almost anything, including death, or loss and gain of memories. Once it’s time for you to go, I’ll take you back and last, you don’t really need anything. I can take you to this exact time and place as if no time has passed.” He said showing her a small green box in the shape of a mailbox. Harumi looked up at it and blinked. “Raidon and Joseph… will they be there too?” she asked randomly. She frowned a bit, unable to remember much else as Samuel shrugged. “Maybe, but we’ll stay at my house for the time being...” he said happy that she was starting to remember more.

"Alright then," Anne said as he took out her guns and loaded a new cartridge, "Brutus, be aware of what s about to happen dearie. If you see yourself, don't be anywhere nearby understood?" Brutus nodded obediently, and draped himself over her shoulders. Anne smiled at his warmth and nodded, "We're ready to take the plunge."

Samuel smiled and nodded. He took a deep breath and set up the time machine. After a few minutes he turned to everyone. "Alright everyone... get ready." he said pressing the buttons. He blinked and they were still traveling. Everything was pitch black with the exception of a few strikes of color that appeared and disappeared every few seconds. He smiled, amazed that although it was completely dark, he could see everyone clearly. Then as he looked away from Anne the area became clear again.
They appeared on a small beach. Ruins of two houses could be seen a few miles off and Samuel's old house, which was right where he left it, sat on a small island just big enough for it and a small garden that had shriveled up and died. "Hm..." Samuel glanced at Harumi who yawned and looked at herself, much older than before, but younger than she last remembered. "Anne, you make it out okay?" she asked before Samuel could ask himself.

Anne nodded she blinked hard, her head was hurting and she felt dizzy. Brutus shook and opened his eyes. He floated over and tasted the air with his fork-tongue.
"I wonder where we are," Anne said trying to focus.

Samuel smiled and looked around. “We’re a few hundred miles away from the city. These are the outer limits.” He looked around and smiled. “Here, these help with the ride.” Harumi said, handing her a small white pill. She smiled and sighed. “Now then, I suppose this is close enough to our time Samuel. My goodness. You’re a lot bigger than I last saw you. How’ve you been?” she asked as Samuel glanced over. Changing the subject, he smiled. “Come on, we should go home before it gets dark. I haven’t been here for a while so we should go out to eat later.” He said.
