"It's fine Brutus, I don't like it either." he mumbled as Harumi climbed onto the boat. She signaled her uncle and helped everyone else on as well. "Yeah, we should go before it starts really getting dark. You know how I am... with darkness." she said, really mainly talking to Samuel. "Well, Bear's house is probably even cooler. He's creative... when he wants to be. It took his a while to build it since he doesn't have any trainging, so it must be interesting in the least." He nodded and smiled at Anne. "My house is awesome. I built it myself for about three years. There's a lot of dust... but it's stable enough to stay in!" he said proudly. Harumi glanced over at him and sighed. "I just hope you didn't use a cave for inspiration..." she mumbled. Samuel shook his head, frowning a bit and continued. "No, actually I used a tree for inspiration... it's more like a treehouse that's really big... and on the ground for the most part..." he paused thinking about it and shrugged. "You'll see I guess."

"Oh I love caves! They're so mysterious and beautiful! Especially when it's a cavern, or the type that has water in it and an open rood above!" Anne's eyes sparkled, "I can't wait to see Samuel's home! I won't mind the dust at all!" It almost seemed as if Anne wasn't sick at all. She continued to go about her love, no, fetish for caves. Brutus simply fell asleep and ingnored them all together. "I'd love to see your home too Auntie,"

Harumi smiled as Bear started to gloat. "Yes well, my house here no longer exists... it was pretty cool though before it was destroyed." she said shrugging. Samuel listened for a moment and started talking over her. Harumi's house was great, but Anne's intrest in his own made him forget his dear friend was even talking. It wasn't all that important anyway. "You know, it's a really small island. Depending on how big my tree is now, we could build a cave underneath against the roots! It's really great..." he said. Harumi watched them both for a while before going to go pet the sleeping Brutus. She smiled and rubbed his head softly, hoping to help him sleep better.

Brutus flicked his small tongue and Anne giggled, "That's my dearie," She looked almost motherly for a second. "I'm sorry to hear about your home Auntie," Anne said sympatheticly. Anne continued to listen to Bear's explanation of his house. Her eyes were wide with excitement, she could picture the place right now!

Harumi nodded, barely listening as she continued petting brutus. "Oh, it's no problem..." she said. She wanted to hug Brutus, but he wasn't quiet big enough to do so. "We're here! ...but how do we get on the island?" a voice called. Harumi and Samuel looked over, but only Harumi went to go help her uncle. "Come on, it's kind of hard to get there... but it's worth it once you do..." he said, walking to the edge of the boat. He smiled, seeing as the island was about five feet taller than the boat was. "Bear... how are we suppose to-" she paused, watching as he turned into a bear and beckoned Anne to get on. He then climbed up the side of the island and allowed her to get off and look around at the lively green plantlife that surrounded the island. His house was located just a few yards away, against the side of the tree that grew on without it. "It's wonderful isn't it?" he asked, going back to get to Harumi. She looked up at the cliff side and smiled weakly. He jumped down, letting her get on as well and climbing up again. "Aren't you proud of me Haru chan?" he asked. She smiled and petted his head as well. "I've always been proud of you Bear... What about you Anne? You like the house too?"

Anne grinned and stepped upward off the boat and unto the land. She took in the beauty of the peculiar home, "I love it, what great craftsmanship Bear-kun!" Brutus slithered out of the boat and swam around in the water. "Brutus said he'll chill in the water for awhile and catch up with us later," informed Anne. Brutus dove underwater and disappeared from the surface. "So, is everyone ready?"

Samuel smiled and nodded. "Alright, let's go inside then... I hope he'll come in before it gets cold though..." he said thoughtfully. He sighed for a moment before going off into the house. Harumi followed after the both of them and waved goodbye to Brutus. Inside the house, behind the layer of dust that covered it, were lots of strange things one might only find in an arcade, and perhaps a forest. Besides the small lake that lead out to the ocean, beanie bags, video games, and a small tv stood in the living room. The kitchen could just barely be seen through the camafloged door. "I know, it's amazing!" Samuel said proudly. Harumi poked at different items and after long started to dust. "It's great Bear... but I wish you'd taken care of your house the way you took care of the garden..." she said. Bear shrugged and continued. "You can't expect a sprinkler system to clean a house..." he said.

Anne stared blankly at the room. It was...interesting. She aswell poked and prided at the things that caught her eye, and almost bumped into the well camofloged kitchen door. "It's lovely Bear-kun...it...expresses your taste in things." She smiled reassuringly and took off her hat, she began to poke at the cobwebs like a young tomboy would, and began to dust some things here and there. "This is going to be a fun stay!"

Samuel smiled at her approval and plopped into a beenie bag. A small bunnie popped out of it, yawned, and ran off as the dust flew up around him and settled down. "Yeah well... it would be cooler if all this dust wasn't here..." he grumbled. Harumi finished dusting about twenty minute later and smiled. "Okay, this is a little better!" she said nervously. She'd already ran into a few spiders, a small mouse, and what looked like a rock, but was really a lobster. "Hey Bear, how do bunnies and mice get on this island anyway?" she asked a bit freaked out. Samuel smiled and shrugged. "Swimming maybe... Anyway, there's no need to go get food! While you guys were looking around, I went back in time and got some beef jerky, apple sauce, and honey! They take a while to spoil so they're fine... anyway, here!" he said, handing them out.

Anne tried not to curl her lip in disgust at the food. She simply smiled and began to laugh, even if her eye was twitching. The small beenie that ran away was what really set her off. "OH MY GOD!" she shouted while falling over herself. She landed on her rear and was breathing deeply. "Moving stuffed animals?!" Anne said in shock, but then she calmed down with a sigh and began to laugh at herself, "This is interesting!"

Harumi took about a three second look at the food and passed out. Samuel rushed over to her and gasped. "Haru chan! Hey, what happened?? Are you okay??" he called. He paused, realizing she'd started sleeping now and picked her up. "I guess she was tired from all the cleaning. He chuckled and shook his head. "No way, I hate stuffed animals... that was a real bunny... but yeah, this place is awesome. One second, I have to go put her to bed... well, maybe not. My bed is kind of dusty too..." he paused noticing Harumi wake up suddenly. "Hey, we should go to a hotel!! It's um... not everyday that we get to be catered to right...? Right?" she asked frantically. Samuel blinked and shrugged. "Alright, I guess that would be better. After all, this place is better when it's warm outside. Animals like to come in here when it's cold. Like once, I saw this huge snail crawling up against the-" "Now! We're leaving now!" she shouted, heading for the door. Samuel shrugged and turned to Anne. "Are you okay with this too?" he asked.

Anne looked around the house, she pondered for a moment and laughed. "Eh! Dearie I'm fine here. All I have to do is cleen' up here an' thar' and everything will be fine for me!" Anne quickly covered her mouth and blushed, "Oh dear, there I go again speaking in deep accent." She simply turned away, "Um...Auntie and I can share a room. I'll choose one and clean and sweep an' dust right away. It's too much of a botha' to go back to a hotel. Best to save every nickel!" She began to laugh and head upstairs, "I'll cook dinner too thank you very much!"

Samuel brightened up again as Harumi turned to leave anyway. He had to drag her back in and get her to calm down before she agreed to stay. "Fine... but only because I can sleep in my dragon form. If it wasn’t for that..." "Then thank goodness for your mother. You should go help Anne though, who knows what's up there..." he said, happy to see her so disgusted. She sighed, and went up anyway, unsure if she even had enough courage to make it up the stairs. Samuel watched her leave and tried to fix his TV. "Spoiled brat..." he mumbled, laughing a bit at his friend's delicacy. Harumi looked around in the hallway for Anne. She smiled as she got to their room. "Anne... that's you right?" she asked.

Anne turned back with sparkly eyes, "Don't worry Auntie! I am a quick draw and a sharp shooter! If something pops out it's good as dead! Just think of it as an adventure in a haunted mansion!" Anne drew her guns and grabbed Harumi's hand aswell. She bolted towards the stairs and climbed the many steps ahead of them in an excited manor. "Tally ho~" Brutus popped his head out of the water, wondering if he was called or not, he gestured like a shrug and slipped back into the water.

Harumi followed, as cautiously as one could after being rushed along. She looked around, hoping there was nothing for Anne to shoot. “Ah, Anne chan, you sure about not wanting to go to a hotel?” she asked weakly. She looked around and then back to Anne. Her guns were out, so she was pretty sure Anne wanted to stay. “Well, if you’re okay with it… I guess it’s not so bad.” She said, happy to see Anne so excited. Samuel glanced over to Brutus and smiled as he went back into the water. “Lucky, you just better be careful out there in the dark…” he said.
