It's California, baby

All my life, I had only really been serious about one sport and one sport only. I lived for this sport, it held a special place in my heart. Horseback riding. Some may say it isn't a sport, work that the horse only does. But really, what do they know? Riding is a life time commitment, an addiction might you call it. If you are a true horseback rider, you can never stop.

Awesomely enough, I came down with my addiction at a young age, and as the years passed I just become more and more addicted, ready for more. The disease worsened over the years and soon, next thing I knew I was working every day at the stables to pay for my new horse. I had next to no social life with 'humans'. But I had my horse I could get by.

I always had a shoulder to cry on, a soft large shoulder to lean my head on. I always had someone to talk out my problems with, someone who would listen for hours and never interrupt or judge me. I had someone to share the joys of my life with, someone to share the angers of it, someone to talk about the unfairness of life. Someone to win blue ribbons with. Who wouldn't give up a social life with 'humans' for all of this?

Farley Academy is a well known school for intelligent young beings, located in California. But who really cares about the work inside the school? That isn't what Farley Academy is famous for, although they do have good educators. Farley Academy houses some of the most talented horses and young riders, it is hard work to get in, but if you do it is amazing. With high class training facilities this is the perfect place for future champions to learn at.

Jumpers, hunters, show hackers, country horses, dressage horses, western horses, you name it. Any horse that isn't as low class as a bucking horse is here, any discipline, any breed. The teachers here teach everything there is to know. Arabians, Thoroughbred, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Saddlebreds, Crossbreeds. Anything, all breeds are housed here, some more popular than others but, it isn't the breed that matters.

Farley Academy isn't just about riding, for once. Although it mostly does revolve around the sport. It is a place to experience popularity, heartbreak and love. A place to try out new things. A normal high school it is amazing how many cliques form.
