Lose my limbs, I mean c'mon. You only live once, and besides, technology is getting better these days. There are artificial limbs that can MOVE now.

Life.
I wouldn't want to be a total burden on my parents. Who has the money for artificial apendages for all four limbs? You'd live your life going to therapy atleast every month to make sure your still fit and able to walk around, and then spend a butt-load of money when one of your machine arms or legs breaks or has a loose screw. Atleast with death, you can burry them and yeah, money spent, but it's only spent once.
But theres different views on it. You can look at it financially, socially, or anything else. Some people would not be allowed to live on their own because they can't quite grip a fork with a mechanical arm, people look down at you because you don't have real limbs, theres a lot of things to it.
