[glow=red,2,300] Alice had walked far away from home. Maybe this was why her father forbid her to go past the yard. They did live in the forest and she could easily get lost. But it was too late to think about that now. Alice sighed, her stomach growling in protest; she was hungry and she thought about all the nice blueberries her mother had picked that mourning. And the pie she was going to make with them.
She wished Ryan was here. When he was around; if she got lost she would just have to call him and he'd come running up in his tiger form. He'd let her ride him and hug him and brush his fur; he was a nice big brother. Well, to her at least. He doesn't like daddy, she thought, remembering the fights they had. Her stomach growled again and she moaned sitting down. She wanted something to eat, really badly.
A sudden whoosh of wind got her attention and she looked up to see a cave. It was dark but the air from it felt warm and she thought she saw a small light. Wait! She did. It was hovering slowly in front of her face; like a small fire. It went to the left then right, circled around her and left into the cave. "Wait! Don't go!" Alice shouted and scrambled after; she didn't want to be alone not since she met her new friend.[/glow]

The weird feeling had returned and he couldn't stop it, IT had taken over. Lucien lay in the cave, breathing deeply as he slowly awakened. His scaly skin moving slightly as he huffed at the sight of the light at the opening of the cave. He rose and yawned, his tongue curling. Closing his muzzle shut, he stretched out his wings and lowered them quickly to get all the dirt and dust off of them. A gust of wind went out of the cave and the other gust, from the other wing, hit the back of the cave a few moments later. Seeing the light move outside of the cave, he turned to look at the light. On fours, he walks slowly toward the opening. His tail dragging on the ground. His wings inches from the ground. The light entered the cave and quickly passed his head. With a snarl, he turned his head and closed his large jaw around the firefly. Feeling it buzzing around in his mouth, he heard something else. Turning his head to look back at the opening, he saw a little girl, maybe seven, walking, no, running. Feeling the firefly go to the back of his throat, he shook his head to try and get the tingling feeling out of his throat. The firefly would go down or out so his jaw opened and flames burst out of his mouth. The fire had shot right over the girl's head, barely missing her hair. Closing his mouth, he saw a sparkle in front of him and noticed that the firefly and escaped in time from the fire. The large dragon walked toward the girl, curious.
"What is this Lucien?" an echoed, scratchy voice of a boy asked softly. A few moments later, he grinned and the firefly quickly flew to the back of the cave, it's light no long noticeable.
"Ah, you don't know. Means I get to eat her right?" the demon asked, again, softly. He dragon opened his mouth a few inches away from her head but growled and pulled away. This girl was strong for not screaming out, but that wasn't the reason he stopped.
"You have the same eyes" the same voice mumbled, calmer this time. The dragon shook his huge head and took a step back.
"You don't know this girl!" the same harsh voice had returned. He took a step toward the girl and rose onto his back feet to show that he wasn't scared. Reaching to 6 feet, almost 7, standing up, he roared loudly and started to lower his front paws to pin the girl down quickly.

[glow=red,2,300] Alice Momori had never seen anything like it. A huge scaly dragon was before her. And it had eaten the little firefly she had been chasing after; her new friend. This made her angry and she went right up to it and pointed out her finger like her mother did when she scolded her or her brothers. "Hey you bully," she shouted, "Leave that poor firefly alone! He's done nothing to you!" The dragon let out a roar, filled with fire. Somehow miraculously, her firefly got away and flitted away into the cave. The dragon then came up to her and looked at her curiously; she watched its wide yellow eyes silently.
She was scared out of her mind but her brother Ryan always told her, 'Show no fear!' She stared, not a hint of fear in her eyes. The dragon talked and when it said it was going to eat her, she was very scared. She held still however as it lowered it's mouth to her then stopped and mumbled something about eyes being the same. She wondered what it meant then saw as it roared again and stood up on two legs. She didn't wait for it to do what it was going to do next; she ran towards the back of the cave going deeper and deeper. Her fear of the monster drove her as she ran; not sure where she was going to end up.[/glow]

I would think it is okay since she hasn't been on in a while. And what do you mean by what Lucien saw earlier???

The rock floor cracked slightly under Lucien's large feet. Turning around and hissing, he walked toward the back of the cave as well, letting out little sparks of fire every now and then to help him see the cave. The dragon stopped and looked around. He didn't think the child could have gone very far with her little legs. He sniffed the air but nothing smelled different, with a growl, he tilted his head back and blew fire up. A large fire ball it the top of the cave and embers fell to the ground. The whole cave seemed to light up. He heard something and turned to a rock quickly. He walked slowly to it and rose his paw and crushed the rock without much effort. He saw the girl and roared. The dragon's wings spread out and he rose to his feet again. Trying again, he got ready to pin the girl down but the fire fly was flying around his face. With another roar, this one, more angered, the dragon took a few steps back and closed his mouth around the fire fly once again. Unable to keep standing on twos, he feel to fours but his wings were still spread. Shaking his missive head again, he snarled deep in his throat. The bug wasn't going down again. Opening his mouth once again, he built fire in the back of hiss throat but the fire fly noticed this and flew out of his mouth and to the girl. The fire was unstoppable and it shot out of his mouth. Arching his back, he aimed the fire at the girl.
'MEAL!' was the the only thing the demon was thinking about.

[glow=red,2,300] Alice ran, the loud noise of the dragon's feet behind her. She didn't know where she was going to go or how she was going to get away. She just knew she had to. The firefly appeared again, glowing faintly and flying behind a rock. She dove behind too and caught it so it wouldn't give her away. Alice listened to the sounds as the dragon got closer and could see the fire it blew from it's mouth. It seemed agitated that it couldn't find her and blew a fire that ignited the whole cave.
The smoke from the fire made her give a sharp cough and then seconds later, the dragon's clawed hand crushed the rock she had hidden behind. She could only stare into the creature's eyes in pure horror. Her hands slackened and the firefly got out and began to annoy the dragon. Again it caught it in it's jaws and again it escaped. The dragon reared it's head towards her, ready to blow the hot flames at her. She cowered there, too scared to move or even breathe then covered her face with her hands, waiting.
At that point, she heard a ferocious roar and looked up. Two wolves, one with dark blue fur and one with brown fur, had latched their jaws on to the dragon. One bit on it's forearm the other on it's hind leg. Then she heard another roar, except it didn't come from the dragon. A white tiger bounded in, stepping in front of Alice. It's hazel eyes looked at her and she grabbed it and began to cry. "It's alright Ally," Ryan told her and gave her a lick on the cheek, "Don't cry. We're gonna get you out of here okay?"
She nodded not certain but clung on to her older brother who hissed and growled when the dragon got too close. The wolves, who were none other than Zak and Ralph, snapped at the dragon trying to drive it back.[/glow]

Suddenly, Lucien's demon felt a sharp pain cut his muzzle which made him shut his mouth but still, the fire couldn't stay down. It came out, into his shut mouth and burned his mouth. He screamed from the burn in his own mouth and the pain to his front leg and back leg. Flapping his legs and noticing two wolves and a tiger. Swinging his tail, trying to get the wolves who were slightly small than him, away. He managed to get away for a second then they attacked again. A roar escaped his mouth, not a roar, a scream that held pain and anger. Lifting his paw, he clawing the air in front of him, trying to back the two wolves off. The wolves wouldn't quit, they wanted him to leave completely but the demon refused. Trying to scared the animals off, he screamed again, this time, more of a roar but a scream was still in it.
"STOP IT!!!" it seemed like the dragon screamed, a boy's voice was behind it.
"Ry-" a roar from the demon cut off a helpless call for help. The dragon with darted to the back of the cave. A few second later, after the tension in the cave calmed. The dragon shot from the back of the cave. Running quickly toward the girl and tiger. Managing to claw the tiger and barely touch the girl, the dragon skid to a stop. He was now blocking the opening. The dragon was mad for the three animals attacking him and entering his cave. He dragon watched as the wolves reacted quickly. The deep echoed laugh escaped his throat.
"You wouldn't dare hurt a friend would you!?" the demon laughed. Quickly his wings turned bird like, the horns turned soft and hair like, the large body turned pale and soon, Lucien was laying on his stomach on the ground. His wings lay limp next to his body. Shocking enough, his shirt was ripped off from the transformation but his pants stayed on. His face was cut from the attack to his demon's muzzle, his arms and legs torn up. His eyes slightly open, staring at the little girl then at the wolves, trying to find out which one was Ryan. Sure enough, they both looked mad.

[glow=red,2,300] The brother's snarled at the dragon who had blocked their path out of the dark and damp cave. Ryan especially as he had got cut trying to protect his sister. But of course, he didn't care. That dragon was one lucky bastard because if any harm befell Alice, Ryan would have his claws in the creature's throat. His white fur was now tainted red with blood from where the dragon had caught him. Alice held more tightly to him now, restricting him to very little movement.
Not that it really mattered; his brother's would inflict his punishment for him. And as a cue, they growled coming forward with their teeth gleaming in the sunlight. The dragon laughed, catching them all off guard. You wouldn't dare hurt a friend would you!? The question shot off in all their heads and they watched as Lucien descended to the floor; cut up and bloody from the teeth of the wolves. His eyes watched the wolves, as if looking for someone. Ryan ground his teeth; he'd make that guy pay.
He stepped forward, becoming human now; carrying his sister in his arms as he made his way towards his brothers. "Lucien?" Zak said, changing back too, "I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it..." Ralph remained wolf; growling, daring the demon boy to get up. Ryan was about ready to kill the guy, if only Alice wasn't clinging to him so tightly. "What's you deal?" he said with a surprise airiness of calm, "Why'd you attack my sister?" "It doesn't matter why," Ralph growled, "I'll make that bast-" Both brothers shot him a look and he stopped his curse mid-sentence. After all, there was a seven year old in their presence.
She whimpered against Ryan and he held her closer to him; how he loved her. How he'd kill anyone stupid enough to hurt her. He and his brothers. They all stared down at Lucien and Ryan repeated the question,"Why'd you attack my sister?" [/glow]

Lucien managed to use his weak arms and legs to rise from his fallen state. Blood slowly streaming from his mouth, he coughed and watched the girl.
"I promise you that I didn't wish to hurt her, if anything I was trying to protect her" Lucien protested. He saw the anger in Ryan's eyes.
"I PROMISE!" Lucien hollered, touching his face lightly for it was causing him pain.
"Listen, I tried to stop myself but my demon came out anyway. The air got think around this cave and I couldn't help myself... to stop my demon" he cried out, looking at the girl. His eyes shone white quickly. A grin grew across his face. Licking his lips he laughed deeply again. Darting toward the girl, he tackled whoever was in the way and bit down. His mouth grew to a muzzle and his teeth grew sharp. Quickly again, his hair turned to spikes and the demon came out laughing.
"THE TIME HAS COME FOR DEMONS TO RULE!" the large dragon chuckled evilly. Pressing his large paw down on the chest of whom he had pinned down. Feeling something crack or break under his paw, he laughed and turned to see Ralph.
"AHAHAHA! You look appetizing as well you manging mutt!" the dragon laughed, smoke releasing from his nose and sparks of fire exiting from his closed lip. Opening his mouth, a large fireball shot at Ralph.

[glow=red,2,300] They all watched as Lucien got up. Ralph growled at him threateningly but Alice watched, his eyes meeting hers. And she saw a sort of sadness in them; she felt sorry for him. Lucien pleaded with her brothers that he hadn't meant it. That his demon had come out against his will. And for some strange reason Ryan believed him. He looked at Zak who showed no emotion as usual but he felt that his brother felt the same.
Suddenly, Lucien's eyes turned white and a grin appeared on his face. None of them saw what was so funny; they all almost didn't catch it. Then the demon returned. Ryan almost didn't have enough time to get Alice out of the way but leave it to Zak to be quick on his feet. Still Ryan was pinned down beneath the dragon's clawed hand, it's teeth sunk into his arm. It pushed down with it's weight and Ryan felt his ribs break. He shouted, the pain surging through him. The demon might as well set him on fire.
Ralph dodged out of the way of the fire then darted back in and tried to bite the demon. However he missed and didn't see the tail coming at him. It hit him against the cave wall and he shook it off trying to get up. Zak who had placed Alice down in the shelter of some rocks, turned wolf and jumped on the dragon, trying to sink his teeth into its tough hide. But he was thrown off into Ralph who had finally gotten up. Both brother's fell to the ground.
Ryan struggled beneath the dragon's foreleg, trying to transform; his burning ribs wouldn't let him. They refused to stretch so he could change and burned even worse when he tried. He pushed the demon's muzzle from his face as its tongue swept across his cheek. "No me not good," he told it, "I'll give you indigestion." It seemed not to care. Ryan caught whiff of its breath. "d**n! God! Get a breath mint!"[/glow]

It'd be cool if he kidnapped the girl and one of the brothers. ^^ Just making up ideas as we go along...

Lucien kept fighting off the brothers and when he saw an opening, he took it. He faced Ryan and lowered his head quickly ready to bite his face off but quickly pulled back with a snarl after hearing Ryan's comment, trying to distract the demon. At that moment, the dragon grew more angry than before and balled his paw into a fist, grabbing onto Ryan's shirt, his claws ripping through it. He turned, lashed his tail once more and shot his tail toward the girl. His tail wrapped around the girl and he roared once again, one that could make a human deaf. He flapped his wings quickly and darted out of the cave, leaving behind dust and wind. Not long after, Lucien's demon was flying high, holding Ryan by the shirt with both of his front paws and the little girl being squeezed by his tail. Ryan was already badly injured and the girl was too little to harm him any. If either of the brothers tried to fight Lucien while he was in the sky, he could easily drop either, or both, of them. As the demon thought of this, another grin grew across his face. Ignoring the blood dripping from his wounds and dropping to the think forest floor bellow, killing trees and plants, he looked down at Ryan and tried to understand his reaction.
"Are you mad or scared?" the demon asked in a echoed voice. He was truly wondering what his humans friend was thinking. The demons eyes darkened in color, slightly getting yellowish, almost trying to turn to it's normal color but the demon quickly looked forward so his human, Lucien, wouldn't come out.
"So? What are you thinking?" the demon asked again, this time, his voice rougher than before, tightening his tail's grip on the girl.

[glow=red,2,300] Ryan groaned as the dragon's claws ripped through his shirt, catching his skin and tearing it along with the shirt. Usually he would've backhanded the person who even dared to touch it. But he couldn't even lift his hand. His body burned and ached so badly that the small shuffle the dragon made felt like it had hit him with a bus.
Alice watched her brother's unconscious on the floor and Ryan under the demon's hand. She was scared; they'd never been not able to fight off something before. Her eyes met the demon's and she ran but got caught as it's tail wrapped around her waist pulling her in. Alice gave off a scream that seemed to ignite Ryan again. He kicked at the demon's throat though it cost him some feeling in that leg. It didn't seem to notice. It gave off a roar that would've deafened her if she hadn't covered her ears and flew off, holding her brother in it's claws.
She was scared but she wasn't sure about Ryan. She couldn't see him from where she was. The demon landed, throwing Ryan down. Well not exactly throwing but it felt like it. "Are you mad or scared?" it asked him, clutching his baby sister in it's tail. She looked ready to cry. He picked himself up slowly, clutching his ribs and looked the demon in the eyes. "What does it look like pregnant dog?!" he snarled, "Does it look like I'm afraid of you because your bigger than I am or stronger?! Hell no! And I'm pass mad; Mad doesn't explain how I feel right now!
"I'm pissed; really pissed. And the best thing you could do right now is let my sister go or your tail is going up you ass and out your mouth you d**n overgrown toad!" However his feet gave out on him and he fell to his knees. He couldn't hold himself up from the pain and he could feel his lunch coming up to meet the outside world. He swallowed it back down and looked with pure hatred into the eyes of that demon. If his ribs weren't killing him, he'd kill that dragon.

Zak got up weakly, being aroused by the demon's roar. However he didn't have the strength to follow. He gritted his teeth; he'd lost two siblings to that thing. Ryan was probably in so much pain, he couldn't stand up. And little Alice.....poor little Alice was scared out of her mind. He mentally slapped himself. He was the oldest. He was suppose to take care of them. Ralph got up too, shaking himself.
The dragon hadn't broken anything in his body. He looked to Zak. "Where are the others?" he asked. But by the look in Zak's eyes, he already knew. They were hostages and he and Zak were trapped. If they went after, the demon could easily kill both Ryan and Alice. If they didn't...... He shook himself to stop the sentence from finishing. "What are we gonna do?"[/glow]

And now he's cussing up a storm! He must be in a lot of pain......

He had landed, tossing Ryan to the side so he wouldn't get crushed under his weight. He turned to Ryan for his answer and watched him carefully. After he watched and heard Ryan scolding and yelling at him, he took a step back. He listened on and lowered his tail so the girl's feet were touching the ground.
"I'm sorry" the scratchy voice mumbled. Lucien was in control. The demon was feeling Ryan's pain and sorrow and slowly unwrapped his tail. When the girl didn't move, he turned and saw her frozen in fear. The tip of his tail poked her in the back to make her walk.
"Walk child, or I will eat you" the demon snarled calmly. The threat was empty, no real threat there. He watched as the family was reunited.
"This is why I don't want war" the voice was back, Lucien voice was weak but it was him. The eyes shone brightly. The demon turned and walked off.
"Next time I won't fail" the demon's voice mumbled pitifully. With it's large head down, both Lucien and the demon were thinking the same thing. Family, they both wondered what a family was like. Suddenly, a sharp pain to his right arm caused the demon to scream like a banshee, the sound of a demon and boy's mixed pained scream. Something had just attacked Lucien. He heard voices but couldn't understand what they were saying or who was saying it. He fell to his side and clawed at his arm. There was something different about the attack. Poison? No. Hit the bone? No. Lucien was affected to. The attack on the demon's arm had hurt Lucien since he was in control. The pain was unbearable for both demon and boy. The demon opened his eyes from trying to stop the pain, to find all the siblings together. The demon rose quickly and black magic circled around the dragon. He blew out a fire ball quicker than he had ever done. The fire had dark magic around it as well. The demon was indeed pissed.

[glow=red,2,300] Alice was afraid now. The dragon was looking at her brother, seeming ready to eat him for his outburst. Then she felt her feet touch the ground and the tail let go of her. She was still frozen with fear until the dragon threatened her. It was an empty threat she knew but it still gave her the push to run to her brother. She hugged him as she got there and he hugged her. And winced as she squeezed his ribs.
"You okay?" he asked her, running a hand through her hair. She nodded then looked up at the demon who seemed to be admiring them. "Thank you." she said to it and nodded to it with a smile. She was thankful that it hadn't eaten her or her injured brother. "Lucien...." Ryan said, taking a gasp of air. It felt like his lungs were collapsing. Suddenly their was a dark blue blur. Alice and Ryan knew exactly what it was. "Zak!" Alice shouted but it was too late; he had plunged a dagger into the demon's right forearm.
It screamed and fell. Ryan knew it wasn't just a ordinary dagger. It was an angel dagger; one used against demons at the times of wars between the heavens and earth. Their father always had a lot of that stuff lying around. "You okay?" Zak asked, coming up. "We had him calmed down before you decided to stab him!" Ryan yelled then doubled over in agony; his ribs burned. Zak ignored Ryan's outburst; the demon had hurt his brother and he just decided to do the same. Ralph picked up Alice, piggy backing her. "We've got to get out of here and somewhere where Ryan can rest." Ralph said.
"I'm fine!" Ryan said and tried to get up but fell down again. Zak picked him up by the arm. Just then a fireball came from the mouth of the demon. All the brothers dodged and Zak set Ryan down away from the fight. "Don't hurt him," Ryan said, holding on to Zak's sleeve, "He can't help it...." "Which makes him dangerous," Zak told him,"Anyone who can't control their demon is like a demon." With that he tore away and shape shifted into a wolf.
He dodged the other fireballs blown and him and with the dagger in his mouth, he lunged, catching Lucien in the shoulder with the blade. He left it in, backing away to watch the effect.[/glow]

The black magic was steaming off of the demon's body when he heard that it was an angel danger. This caused the demon to scream in anger... no, it wasn't the demon that scream, it was Lucien. He figured it out, or so he thought. The angels knew about him ruining the angels perfect reputation by wielding a demon so they gave the siblings a dagger to get rid of him. He grew angrier and was in full control of his demon now, allowing him to shoot another fireball. Another sharp and insane pain to the shoulder. A scream left the demon's mouth, it was more Lucien's than anything, he was going out. After a few moments of screaming, Lucien was out, the dragon no long seen. Lucien grabbed the dagger and cried out as he pulled it out of his shoulder. Gasping for breath and listening to the family, wondering if the battle was over. Turning quickly and glaring at Zak, his mouth grew into a frown that showed his angered teeth.
"Hey... you... I take it back... you would be a horrible leader by the way to act" Lucien mumbled, a slightly breeze moving, bringing the sent of blood across both Zak and Lucien's noses. This was his cue, Lucien folded his wings slightly so they were like wings on a plane and ran quickly toward Zak, holding out the dagger in front of him. Once he was close enough, her sliced in front of him, managing to hit him on the cheek before stumbling past Zak. Had he lost his balance or had Zak moved out of the way? As he turned back, he glared at Zak, noticing that the angel's dagger didn't effect him as much as it did Lucien. This made Lucien even angrier. The black magic was light but was still visible around Lucien's shaking body. He was confused, angered, and cold from his missing shirt for it had ripped when he transformed long ago. The demon had come out, sent out his black magic and that still wasn't enough to satisfy Lucien's anger, pain, and sadness. He refused to think that he could be beaten by siblings that were going to help him stop the war. He started running back toward Zak when he stopped and quickly changed his direction to run toward Ralph and the little girl. Lucien had never seen Ralph fight as much as the other two and so he figured that he was the weakest of the group and, he had the girl that he demon wanted. Quickly, it seemed as though he disappeared but a few seconds later, he was behind Ralph, holding the dagger to his neck. His eyes shone pure evil... or anger... misunderstood. He looked at the girl and felt his heart and mind scramble. What was wrong? He felt calmer for some reason as he looked at her but he quickly looked away and the anger returned. They tried to kill him and for that, they were to pay. That was all he could think of.

[glow=red,2,300] Zak watched as the demon boy screamed and transformed back. He hadn't meant what he said. Of course at one time he hadn't been able to control his demon; shape shifting-wise. He watched as Lucien pulled the dagger out and wondered how the boy could even hold the weapon without getting hurt. Lucien's words didn't bother him in the least. He should've thought about that before he tried to hurt Alice. And before he hurt Ryan.
Zak wasn't going to tolerate anyone who hurt his siblings. The scent of blood swept by his nose and he felt some part of him growl. He quickly shook his head; this wasn't like him at all. He almost missed Lucien as the boy rushed at him. Lucien got him across the cheek but Zak got out of the way, jumping away.
Lucien gave him a look with eyes full of hate and Zak returned it. However he didn't foresee Lucien running at Ralph.
Ralph never saw it coming. Lucien disappeared for a few seconds then was behind him, the dagger to his throat. Alice looked with scared eyes. "Please don't!" she cried to Lucien, looking at him with her eyes portraying sadness. Lucien looked at her and he seemed to calm down just a bit. But then he looked away and he got angry again. "If I get out of this alive, your gonna wish I hadn't," Ralph growled and felt the dagger dig a little deeper. He felt something trickle down his neck and snarled.
Ryan got up, holding his ribs. He transformed into the white tiger and forced himself to walk. He was going to stop Lucien before things got even worse then they were. "Lu..cien..." he choked, his lungs killing for air. He swayed slightly, almost falling to his side but picked himself up. Zak watched with amazement as Ryan walked towards the demon boy who seemed somewhat intimidated by the tiger walking towards him. "Lucien...." Ryan said again, stopping to catch his breath, "Don't do it.... I don't want to hurt you but you need to let go of my brother. Don't hurt him...... just let him go and drop the knife. We can talk Lucien.
"You and I understand each other. None of us are against you; it's just a misunderstanding." Suddenly Ryan heaved and lost his breakfast all over the ground. The raw intensity of it shook him and he returned to his human form. He forced himself to look up into Lucien's eyes, "I forgive you okay? Leave them alone. Hurt me if you want."[/glow]
