Jake Uzumaki ran up to a large tree and kicked it and punched it over and over. His bright blue eyes squinted as he focused his strength on the tree. He jumped back and made a quick hand sign. Two clones apeared and all three of the Jake's started attacking the tree. The real Jake ran up to the tree screaming and punched it. His eyes shut tightly and his teeth clenched when he felt a branch go into his nuckles. His clones disapeared and he grabbed his hand. He fell to his knees and grabbed a bandge from his hip pack and wrapped his hand.
"Stupid... so stupid" he growled as he zipped up his pack. Jake got back up and looked at the branch that was dripping with blood. He rolled his eyes and made a hand sign. He closed his eyes and a blue chakra circled his feet.
"C'mon" he whispered to himself, opening his eyes and running toward the tree. He jumped up and starting running up the side of the tree. He heard a crunch and he fell. He flipped in the air and landed on his feet. He looked up and saw that he didn't even go half way when he put to much chakra to his feet. He cussed under his breath and he tried once more, this time, his chakra to little. Jake took out a kunai and continued to try, this time marking how high he got. One time when he was about to run up the tree, he stopped because he heard something.
"Someone... something there?" he asked, pissed that something messed up his training.

Skye was walking among the trees, her kitsune mask over her face, her half off revelaing the flat jacket she wore underneath. She made herself known to Jake, not saying a word.
Quickly she placed her hands above her head, gesturing that she was not a threat to him.
"I'm lost," she said in a muffled voice. Skye's voice was light and filled with you, though a trickle of sadness could be detected in her tone.
"My map was lost in the river, I've been stranded in the forest for days." A beast appeared beside her, it came up to her waist and looked like a fox, however it's face was filled with an array of tribal make up. It carried it's head low as if it could not see or wished to not make eye contact.
"Akira," Skye said in surprise as she reached down a patted the creauture on its head.

Jake starred at the girl and the creature. He took note that she wore a mask but didn't know her way around. He tightened his grip on his kunai and held it out to her as if to show it off.
"You must not be an anbu so why are you wearing as mask?" he asked, looked down at the fox creature. He tossed the kunai and it landed in front of the fox. He looked back up at the masked girl and growled deep in his throat. He grabbed his hat and pulled it down to make sure it was on then he put his hands in his pocket.
"And what's with the... fox" he said, taking a gulp before the word fox. His mind wandered off to his father and Kyuubi. He shook his head and sighed. As he waited for the girl's reply, he studied the fox and the markings. He studied the girl and how she tried to look like an arctic fox.
'Why is this girl here? Why is that fox following here? Why does she wear a mask? Do I know her?' all of these questions swam around in his head. He took a step toward the fox and stopped. He took another step then he stopped. He wanted to get close but not to scare it. He stopped moving al together and looked at the girl as he waited for an answer.

"I wear a mask for personal reasons," Skye said quietly, "My name is Skye Moore, I'm from the land of snow. This is Akira, he is a kyuubi, or a baby one at that." Suddenly a head literally grew from the side of Akira. It's face was hideous, no eyes, not even a mouth. Just a hole at the bottom of it's muzzle. It too also had make up on its face, and it lifted its head and was alert, it could see not like Akira who was blind. They stood there, unmoved by the kunai hitting the ground with little force.
Slowly Akira opened his mouth and words spilled out in a adult male voice, "This one is still a novice in his training."
Skye noticed this and decided to explain, "Their brothers, this one is Andrew, they share the same body."

Jake's face felt hot and cold at the same time she explained that it was a baby kyuubi. He continued to stare at the fox and he flinted when he saw something apear on the fox. He rubbed his in confusion and stared at Skye in awe.
"You... have a name for that thing?" he asked, not meaning to sound rude. He turned back at the fox and waited for it to do something interesting.
"Can it blow fire or spit acid or... I don't know... talk?" he asked, waving his hand in front of the fox. A breeze came upon them and his hat blew off. He stood up straight and turned to watch his hat fly off with the wind. He let out a sigh and turned back to the fox.
"You know what, my dad had the demon of you inside him... he gave me that hat before he was killed" he explained, reaching his hand out to pet the fox.

Skye looked at Jake's face in suspicion, though it could not be seen from under her mask.
"You bare the resemblence to someone I once known..." she trailed off and looked down at the anxious Kyuubi. They looked back up at her ready to leave this area and move on to the next. Skye was so zoned out that she forgot what the boy had asked her,
"Oh,eh? They...talk." She adjusted her mask for a moment and noticed the tree that was marked before them. Skye chuckled
"I've been there,"
Andrew noticed the hat and nudged Akira to move along with him. Together they sped off and brought the cap back.
Under the mask Skye's eyes grew big.

Jake nodded when Skye answered him but was shocked to see the fox running back and to him so quickly with his hat. Jake got on his knees and started petting the fox. He grabbed his hat and slid it over his head. Then he got up and turned around to Skye.
"You've been where?" he asked, refuring back to what she said before the fox came back. He looked up at the tree then on the ground and back to Skye, still wondering what she was talking about.
"I was training" he added, not sure if that ment anything. He turned back and got on his knees once again. He slapped his knees and mouthed 'come over here' while he waited for Skye's reply. He didn't want to talk outloud because him might have talked over Skye's explaination. He wanted to know so many things now. Most of all, what she ment.

Andrew jerked his head away from Jake's head, he backed his side of the body away and Akira immediately knew to follow. They both turned and left, rubbing their heads under Skye's arms (their height is up to Skye's chest). She petted them and explained, "They don't like strangers, or humans besides me for that matter." Skye then thought of the question,
"Oh, I meant the training," Skye said smiling with in, He's just like him...could he be...
Skye suddenly squeaked from within her mask, she never had spoken this much before.
"Um!" Skye said abruptly, "Can you lead me to the nearest town? Or the path to the town. I--no, we need to go." She mounted on Akira&Andrew's back, ready to be lead.

Jake stared at the masked that seemed to stare deep into his soul. He shivered slightly and pointed his thumb over his shoulder. He didn't saw anything until he felt a chill go up his spine when he looked at the foxes.
"This way" he choked, turning and walking toward Konaha. He kept his eye on the ground and he kept glancing at his hands. At one point he thought they turned into claws but he blinked in confusion and they were normal. Something about this girl and the foxes made him feel tightened inside. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of red licorice. He put it in his mouth and started pulling on the candy with his teeth. It snapped easily because of his un-normally sharp canine teeth. He stopped and grabbed three pieces out of his pocket and turned. He held them out to Skye and blink as if he was trying to see what he face looked like through the mask.
"Here" he said, grabbing Skye's hand and placed the candy in her palm. His hands were warm and dry even though he was sweating from training. He turned back and and started walking again. He grabbed another piece from his pocket and continued chewing away at the red stick of candy.

Skye jerked away scared and accidnetly dropped the licorice. She gasped as she did so and held her hand close to her, her body was drawn back...scared.
"I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I'm scared...of men. No offense, but please...refrain from touching me." She held her head down in embarassment and clicked her heel against the side of the foxes like a rider would on a horse. Akira trudged on, and Andrew looked up at Skye, his tongue reaching out of the hole for a mouth and kissing her neck. In return Skye petted the creature in reassurance.
"...I'm sorry if I'm weird. I lived in a rough family. Mom beaten senseless, and me almost killed..." Skye drew back suddenly, she is saying too much.

Jake didn't care that the candy was dropped nor was he offended. When Skye went on talking, his put his hands behind his head and and kept walking. When she started talking baout her family, his turned his head slightly and looked at her. He didn't want to make her feel unwelcomed so he looked back forward. His voice was muffled when he talked but it sounded sweet.
"No problem Skye. I understand. At least your not ignoring me..." his voice wandered off. He turned his head slightly, again, and looked at Skye. Now he was walking backwards, using his hands to keept balance.
"Well, most people are like that around me so I don't really care if you're scared too. I'm glad that you don't ignore me like the other do" he explained, stopping his talking because he knew that he might have said to much too. He turned back to face forward and his face went red slightly.
'I'm such a FREAK! Why should I explain myself to this stranger!?' he screamed at himself inside his head. He pulled out another piece of candy and starting chewing on it to get his mind off of the demon Kyuubi.

Akira looked back at up Skye and, he opened his mouth and words spilled out again, "The boy has an ominous smell to him. Brother says that he has some of 'us' in him." Skye looked worried for a moment, she stroked the kyuubi's head and didn't say a word. The only person who could have had ninetails power within him was the leaf village's late hokage. Skye's eyes narrowed a bit, and she decided to raise her mask.
"You're the late hokage's son aren't you?" she asked. Her eyes were blue like the sky above, hense the name given to her: Skye.
"I once knew your father...he was a great man."

Jake continued to chew away at the candy, hearing muffled voice behind him. Suddenly he heard the words, Hokage's son, and stopped quickly. The candy slide out form his lips and landed on the ground. He stopped and stared wide eyed at the small town ahead of them.
'She knows' he paniced inside his head. He pictured Kyuubi's large cage and deep laughing coming from inside it then he snapped backed into reality.
"You knew him?" he asked, not answering her son question. His voice cracking as if he was lossing his voice. His hand had crawled into his pocket, touching the handle of a kunai. He refused to look around at her until he couldn't bare it any longer. He figured that she might have been the one that killed his father and she was playing the nice act. He turned and grabbed the kunai out of his pocket, ready to throw. He froze dead in his tracks as he stared at the beutiful face. He dropped the kunai and stared at her.
"And so- the anbu fox girl- takes of- the mask!" he exclamed, stopping between every word or two.

Akira and Andrew immediately growled sensing the kunai; the growls were low an menacing, as if saying 'just try it'. Skye just looked at his hand, "Throw it at me and Andrew will swallow you whole. His little hole for a mouth may seem small, but it can fit a whole human body when he feels up to it." She smiled mischieviously but then softened, "Don't worry, you can trust me. I met your father at a small ramen booth one night. I was only a little girl, battered and beaten, scared out of my life. He was nice to me and I...I was afraid of him."
She looked away, afraid to share eye contact with Jake.

The kunai, now at Jake's feet, seemed to tremble while Jake started getting scared. He was confused on what happened. He got next to her and grabbed her hand, this time, pulling her off the fox and pulling her forward. He figured that she wouldn't want to follow him after she showed her face but she had no choice now. He ignored that she was scared of men. He figured that since he shouldn't be scared of her, then she shouldn't be scared of him. He starting walking fast then started into a jog. He looked at Skye and smiled sweetly, a flash of Naruto. He looked at the foxes and sneered almost evily. A flash of Kyuubi maybe? He let out a laugh like never before... he was trying to cheer Skye up... but why? Maybe he was scared that she would send the foxes after him. Maybe he was scared of her unknown power, period!
