Drex smiled as she made her decision,"Then I will go with you," he said bowing his head to her he took a step back as she shifted, he gave her small smile as he looked at her,"We can leave when eevr you feel like it," he said softly. he pet her on the head and smiled more as he did before taking a step back.

he more or less leaped into the air and took his form which he shifted rather quickly before he hung from a branch his head tilted a bit as he looked at her. He was ready to fight if he had to and he wouldn't hesitate to Protect Jaxon if she needed it.

In her form, she loved the freedom it brought. Jaxon looked up at Drex and took off in a run. She didn't know where she was going. She just ran. Everything seemed so much more simple out here. The power within her, coming from the Earth and the Moon, sang to her. It made it's own music. She wasn't worried about what was going on in her own life. The fight that was ahead of her.

She jumped forward and shifted back to her human form. She was close to the town and knew that a big wolf would scare people. She walked down the street, feeling her stomach beginning to growl. "Drex?" She stopped and looked around. Where had he gone?

Drex had taken flight as soon as she had took off his wing soundlessly beat in the wind as he soared over head the freedom that he had in his form was remarkable he had free range of the skies of his own leasure. the wind whistling past his ears as he flew it made almost want stay in this form but he sensed Jaxon heading for the city so he took shelter in the forest before shifting back into his human form.

after he shifted he walked into the city now tracking Jaxons scent as he walked, when he saw her stopped and looking around, he smiled as he walked up to her,"Were you looking for me," he said his hand behind him as he smiled at her.

"Drex!" Jaxon said as she ran over and threw her arms around him. She hugged him tightly and laughing. In public, she tended to let people think whatever about the two of them. It normally stopped idiots from coming over and asking for her number.

She placed her feet back on the ground so she could find a place to eat at. She walked around, getting looks from everyone. Mainly men. She had a repuation for being a bit of a b**** when men asked her out. Some knew her and Drex weren't together but others just assumed that. "Where to go... where to go..."[/color]

Drex chuckled as she hugged him, he knew that people had their opinions and there was always some guy trying to get her to go on a date with them, and he never said, never had to, she could take care of herself in those matters. he smiled at her,"finding some place to are are you?"

he looked around as well looking for a good place where they served food he liked, fruits vegetables the usual thing for him, he never much liked meat it was against his nature anyway.

"Unless you have a place in mind." Jaxon shuddered. "But then again, i don't eat vegetables." She laughed and nudged him lightly. She remembered the first time they met. It was a nice little memory, one that she cherished. She wondered if he remembered.

She slipped her arm in his as they walked. Her temper was liable to get the better of her when she was stressed. Her head rested on his shoulders. She sighed softly. "So do you remember the first time we met?" She needed this small conversation as they were looking for something to eat. Her stomach rumbled again.[/color]

"I'm trying to think of a place that is good that has something we both like," he chuckled when she shuddered,"Oh vegetable and fruits aren't that bad, made you should try a little," he said nudging her back.

He smiled at her as she took his arm,"Of course i remember it, it is something I'll never forget not that I can forget it anyway," he said with a soft chuckle, as he looked at her.

Jaxon smiled brightly up at him. They always joked about what the other ate. Considering they were polar opposites, it was hard to believe they were friends. Hell, they were best friends. She went ahead and let him pick where they would go. He knew what she liked. Her head still resting on his shoulder, she yawned.

"So, care to tell me your point of view on the day?" She laughed softly. It had been rather funny in her eyes. He was a gentleman and she was a girl who could handle herself. How they ever got along in the first place was a mystery.[/color]

Drex had chosen a resturaunt that he knew had something they both enjoyed and went inside , of course the diner had people of all ages and it really wasn't very crouded, which was good. choosing where they were going to sit he sat down after Jaxon did, the waiter came by and gave them their menus before he began to gawk at Jaxon at which Drex cleared his throat and stared at him. the waiter left quickly after Drex got his attention.

"It was interesting to say the least i'll tell you that, never really expected to have you as a friend," he said softly as he looked at his menu.

Jaxon laughed as she sat across from him. "I can't say i expected it either. Then again, those guys never came back, did they?" She shook her head and opened the menu. A hand ran through her hair, sending it wildly across her face. She hummed softly as she did so. She had a performance the next night and wasn't sure what songs she'd sing.

She looked over at Drex after the waiter did his little stare. "I didn't think you'd ever get used to that." She smirked and sat her menu down. Her hands folded on top of it. "So anything look good to you?"

"Nah they never did and the guy I had seen him once or twice and he tends to avert his eyes from me when I pass by him," he said chuckling he opened the menu and looked through it but he didn't really want anything at the moment, he ended up selecting a small salad.

he looked at her with a smile,"I might as well there isn't going to be a single guy who isn't going to be thinking about you when they go to bed tonight anyway might as well get use to making them pay attention to what they were doing," he said with a smile,"eh I don't know I'm not really that hungry at the moment so I'm just getting something small for now."

Jaxon rolled her eyes. "That's a pleasant thought..." She shuddered and ended up getting a steak and no vegetables. She didn't like the taste even though Drex always tried to get her to eat more. "I didn't eat too much yesterday. I never do with performances." She flashed a smile to the waiter. He tripped over his own feet. "I never get sick of that."[/color]

he tried hiding his laughter as he saw the waiter trip and stumble,"of course you never get tired of it so long as someone show interest in you and they don't pay attention to what they are doing," he said witha smile. "I know this well having been with you plenty of times when you were done with performances, you always ate big meals after each one or the day after I'm use to it," he said smiling.

Jaxon laughed and shook her head. "I wish i wasn't so sought after. It would make my life so much easier. Think about it." She leaned back in her chair and looked over to the side. She seemed to be staring at nothing.

Her nail drumming a song on the table. She didn't really want to think of anything but now she was remembering her pack. Jaxon knew what she wanted but would never admit it. Their food came and she slowly began to eat.[/color]

he ate his food slowly as well,"yeah it would then again you 're pretty much a celebrity so it will be very difficult for you to be left alone," he said softly, what else was he going to say.

he had stopped eating and looked out the window holding his head up with his hand as he propped his elbo on the table.
