"Heh, you'll die early if you keep this up. You're brother is kicking a** right now, this is almost over." Vira then hoisted him up and threw him over her shoulder. "Crap you're heavy. She flapped her wings and glided down the hallway to the room where Katsumi was improsoned. She bypassed the fight, "I've got your brother moron! He's safe with me!" she called as she zipped past. When they made to the room, she hurried and placed Ikovi on the bed.
"Still vommiting crap." Vira muttered and turned Ikovi on his side.
"I'll continue healing you to numb the pain. From the looks of it, a good percent of your men are dead. This is all over, that sister of yours is dead meat. So is Lichen."

Ikovi rolled over and opened his eyes, only to close them again as the harsh light hit his pupils, he could still hear fighting going on outside, and someone saying something, he wasn't listening. Ikovi opened his eyes and forced them to adjust to the light despite the pain shooting through his skull. Suck it upp Ikovi, the commander has no excuse for giving up.
"You there" said Ikovi, not really caring who it was "Get me a f**king rifle, preferably sniper..."
He had a few seconds, while Salanim was concerned with his vampire bit, he could save Hanako, he could do it. Everything was a whirl of color, his head was pounding with pain and he was starting to think Salanim might've cracked a few ribs, it didn't matter. Winning this fight didn't matter, Pain didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was getting Hanako out of here.
Lichen stumbled towards Katsumi, reaching out his hand to grab, or preferable tear out, her throat...
Salanim was growling, d**n that vampire, biting me, now I won't go easy on him, where'd my shotgun go... Salanim spotted his shotgun a few yards away, sticking in the ground by it's bayonet. He wrenched it from the soft ground and leveled it on Lichen, right at the base of his pitiful neck...

Katsumi had leaned far enough back to avoid the Lichen guy's touch as she grabbed Hanako to her chest and held her tight. "Ha, you really think I'll let you kill me oh so easily eh? If you really want this girl th..." She was cut off as Hanako's palm came in contact with her jaw. "Ahhh, you witch!" She screamed as Hanako had just about enough with all of this crap, able now to escape Katsumi's grip as she scrambled onto the ground and back into a standing position.
Katsumi was holding her chin as he lip was bleeding over. One of her teeth had sunk into her lip on contact of the palm and was now bleeding profusely. "Dam**t." She growled as she could taste the blood in her mouth. "I don't think you understand girlie." She said launching herself at the girl yet again to bring her down. Only this time Hanako was ready for her.
Hanako whiped around and bared her fangs at her, something she would never do. Her hair was standing a bit on end to make her look a lost worse than her bite. "Listen, I already told you Lichen is the only one I care about. Lay off and maybe he'll spare your life, however I highly doubt that will even be possible now." She growled still baring her fangs as the bewildered Katsumi.
Kat blinked as she propped herself up looking at the vampire and she just had to laugh, "Heh, didn't think you had it in you." She shook her head, "Ikovi wants you, I'm only following orders girl. Be a dear and don't fight back, it certainly makes life easier for me."
Hanako took another step back, her eyes still intently watching the devil. She was through being a nobody now, she wanted to help Lichen, and in order to do that she needed to escape the grasp of this devil and run towards Lichen, maybe he would just run after that, it seemed enough damage had been done, and yet she still wondered why they had come here.

"You're an idiot. Like hell you're gonna shoot somebody in your condition." Vira got to her feet and walked over to grab the rifle, she loaded it and slung it over her shoulder.
"I'll go get your stupid sister. Just stay there and heal already." She dashed off once she was ready and sped over to where Hanako and Katsumi were.
"KATSUMI!" Vira shouted, "Restrain her, knock her out or something! Ikovi needs her." Vira studied Hanako for a moment, she was weak, and was desperate to be with Lichen.
"Listen girl, give up already. There's two of us now, just do as Katsumi says, and you'll make our lives plenty easier. You're going nowhere with us around."

Lichen was thrown face-forward when the force him, hitting him like a freight train. He didn't feel the pain at first, dazed by the third of these blunt blows to his body, but then the overwhelmign reality of the pain hit him even harder than the initial force.
Salanim lowered his shotgun and ejected the empty shell, a barely visible train of smoke following the shell's descent "It's not nice to bother girls" said Salanim as he walked back towards the prone Lichen.
Lichen vividly feel each piece of silver lodged in his back, each one burning as if it was made of salt. The pain was enough to drive any man insane, and kill most, but the fates were nto so Nice to Lichen, he was still alive, and conscious to boot. Lichen tried to rise to his feet, to make one last dash for Hanako, and escape with his and her lives, but he was forced down as Salanim stepped on him.
Salanim slid the next shell into the action of his shotgun and pressed it against against the back of Lichen's head "Nobody bites me..."

Hakako screamed with the pain as Katsumi kept her head pressed to the ground, "Ge...get.. off of me!" She screamed at Katsumi as she watched the other two battle it out. Her face drained of color as Lichen was wounded once more and fell to the ground by one of the men.
Katsumi looked around to see who was talking to her and she growled, "She's already restrained, why would I knock her... ahh." She shreiked as Hanako came to her last resport and sunk her fangs into the girl's closet arm. "You witch!!!!!!" She squealed as she yanked back only making the pain worse as the fangs of the girl sunk deeper into her arm.
Hanako growled as she hung on to dear life, her supply of blood was being replenished by the girl and sorry to admit that it actually tasted wonderful as the liquid and flavor bursted in her mouth, shrinking down her neck. Her eyes started to glow a faint red as she consumed her foe. Grabbing hold of her with a now free arm.
Katsumi squirmed about and eventually lost it, she rolled off of the girl and managed to yank her arm free of her fangs. "Da**it!" She growled holding her wounded arm into her chest as the blood rushed out of the open wound. Hanako took the chance and scrambled to her feet. She rushed forward aiming at the man that held her Lichen down. Launching her attack on the man and in a split second held him to the ground, hoping she gave Lichen enough time to recouperate himself and fight back. "Lichen run!" She yelled over her shoulder at him as she placed both hands around the man's neck and tried her best to strangle the life out of him. "You will pay for what you've done to Lichen!!!" She growled, her eyes still glowing and erie red, mouth dripping with the remains of the devil's blood, she truely looked like a monster.

" What a nuisance!" Vira growlled, she bolted forward and slammed a kick right across Hanako's head, she landed and pinned Hanako face down to the ground.
"Bite me and you'll die from my blood!" she warned, her foot was on her head, "Katsumi, make it quick over here!" She looked down at Salanim, "Get up, idiot; you still have a battle going on!"

IN the distance there was a flash from a third story window, just a momentary as something glass reflected the sun. And in the window Ikovi was staring down M110, watching the events below him. Lucky Ko, saved by Vira, few more seconds pinned down and Salanim would've lost control, and I would've had to shoot him, again. Oh well, first Ko, then that vampire. Ikovi sighed brought the sights to bear on Hanako's temple. Bye sis...
Salanim's pupils shrank, the world goign dark around him. That face... He unconsciously got up and grabbed his shotgun which Hanako had knocked from his hands just before he killed her boyfriend. Salanim's face was expressionless as he loaded a few more shells into his weapon. And then salnim shot the person nearest to to him, a soldier asking him if he was okay.
"Eveyone... Die." said Salanim and then he opened fire on Hanako.
"Hanako, run!" said Lichen as he tried to rise to his feet, something was wrong with that guy, he was normally so lively, and wild, but now he was calm and unmoving, it was scarier than when he was running around.
Then Salanim shot one of his won people and Lichen knew that this guy had lost it, probably not for the first time either. Then he leveled his gun on Hanako, and Lichen finally got his feet and made a dash for her. He dived in front of the bullets as Salanim fired again. He managed to hold up his arm just in time for it to take most of the blast, tearing his flesh to shreds, a few of the pieces of silver his his cheek...
Lichen was going into shock, he couldn't feel the pain anymore "Hanako, r-run" said Lichen as he stumbled back to his feet and faced Salanim.
((OOC: Bwha! Don't fret, I won't kill Lichen, just you wait and see, I've got something really fun to do with him))

((Oh boy, brink of death and yet he still has plans...))
Katsumi growled at Vira, "What do you want me to do? Everyone seems intent on killing the girl? You want me to just end her life?" She growled over at her as she released her arm that had finally started to heal. "Whatever." She said dashing forward to help in the pursuit to kill this Lichen man, but not having any time before she had to fall back to save herself from the spray of silver bullets. "Go**amnit Salanim, WHAT THE H8LL ARE YOU DOING!" She glared over at him seeing the insanity in his eyes and she sighed, "Alright, change of plans. "You a** now you've done it!" Her wings appeared on her back and she jumped into the air. Landing inches behind Salanim, "F***ing ba***rd." She growled in his ear. "Why not just take a good long nap ehh?" She elbowed him hard in his temple hoping it'd be enough to quite his a**.
Hanako had no time to react to the spray of bullets coming her way, she tried to scramble up but before she could she collapsed in a ball on the ground, covered by Lichen as he took most of the blow. A few of the bullets skimming her own skin. The burning was intense but she closed her eyes and stayed calm. "Lichen, I'm not leaving you!" She cried, standing to help him. "Don't be stupid, I won't leave you at a time like this!" She squeaked as fresh tears coursed down her cheeks. "Stop shooting already! I don't even know you people, what is it with you?" She yelled through her tears.

Lichen spoke in a low deadly growl "I said leave, NOW LEAVE!" shouted Lichen as one Salanim's allies bought him a few more seconds to prepare to do what he was planning on doing.
Salanim had lost all distinction between friend foe, he slashed at Katsumi mercilessly the bayonet of his shotgun before he was struck in the back by something moving with extreme speed. Salanim slid on the ground for few seconds before getting back to his feet with a deep growl. Lichen was coming at him again, his eyes red with fury and power, Lichen had released all the restraints on his power, if he didn't feed immediately after this he would die....
d**nit, she moved, Ikovi gritted his teeth as he lined up another shot on his sister, this time for her chest, where he would have a better chance of hitting her, and pulled the trigger on his M110 again...
Lichen bared his fangs and charged Salanim again, ignoring the pain as another shotgun blast knocked him back a few feet after hitting him in the stomach, but Lichen kept coming, hand outstretched for Salanim's throat...

Vira quickly dashed to the sky, dodging the silver bullets fired by the insane Salanim. "WHAT THE HELL YOU TARD?!" She cursed to herself as she watched Hanako try to escape, but in the end stayed put like an idiot.
Vira fluttered quickly over to Ikovi, "What now? That vampire is about dead almost, and then there's Hanako standing there like a rock. What do you want me to do?" She noticed Ikovi was still injured, she sighed annoyed to herself. Everyone is stupid around here!

Katsumi was knocked backwards by the blow from the rifle. She slammed into the side of the castle as the air was knocked out of her. "Dam....mit" She breathed though it hurt like h8ll. She doubled over in pain, her eyes closed and her heartrate soaring higher to catch up with her. Devil's don't die that easily. Came a voice into her head, but she ignored it, Not the time mom. She growled as it was incesant and very much annoying. I'm not stupid but I know when to quit. The voice subbsided leaving katsumi feeling cold and lonely.
Hanako looked fearfully at Lichen, she was unable to disobey him now, "Yes Lichen, I understand." She spoke in a low whisper but he was already gone before she had finished, turning on her heals and bolting towards the forest once more. She had no chance of survival so why was she even running? Had Lichen planned this? Did he really think of her as a burdon? Or was that just her imagination? She shook it off as her wings came out for the first time, "Ahh.." She stumbled as she was unsure of what had happened. Regaining her posture as she flapped the midnight black wings, "Wings? I never thought I'd see the day." She spoke in a soft voice as she tested them, catching the hang of it after a moment and soaring above the trees. Not even turning around once as she flew fast and furious back to the base.

Salanim moved a split second before Lichen made contact with his throat, but Lichen was faster than normal and his fingers cut through his skin just to the right of his eye, leaving three long cuts as they slid accross his face, Salanim ignoring them as he turned to bring his weapon to bear of Lichen.
Lichen felt one last blast shred the flesh of his upper right shoulder as he took off as fast as he could away from the manor, he dashed through the woods for about a mile before he colapsed, panting, and feeling the last of his temporary power drain from him. He sat against a large oak pant as he felt consciousness slip away from him, but he didn't pass out. No not this way, I have to feed, have to... Now... Lichen fainally gave in, it would be a few hours before the last of his life-force left him...
Ikovi cursed as his sister took off, on a straight path away from the manor, d**nit. Ikovi slammed his rifle against the wall in frustation before returning his focus to the few remaining instances of battle going on around the Manor, almost everyone was dead, a few soldiers remained firing on the last remaining vampire, but he soon fell to their fire, slamming into a ground like a rag-doll.
Ikovi caught a glance at Katsumi just in time to see he slammed into the manor wall by Salanim, who was being attacked by Lichen, who looked as if he had come off of one of the more gruesome cop shows.
"d**nit Salanim, can't I count on yout o keep your f**king head" cursed Ikovi as he picked his rifle back up and headed outside, storming outside with his rifle pointed straight at Salanim, who was making to take off after Lichen "Salanim you have two seconds to get your ass back inside before I put one between your eyes!" shouted Ikovi furiously, not sparing a glance at Katsumi, who he suspected was dead.
Salanim looked back at Ikovi with vicious eyes and pointed his shotgun at him, pulling the firearm forward to load his last shell. Then he stmbled backwards as Ikovi shot him, the bullet hitting him right above the shoulder, rendering his right arm useless, the pain slowly got to Salanim and he came back to his senses.
"Oh sorry brother I don't know what came over me..." said Salanim sadly looking around him "what happened here, what happened to your daughter" asked Salanim glancing at Katsumi, Ikovi shot his other shoulder...

"That works too." Vira said cooly, "Do you want me to track your sister? I smell her....she's in the air. She's flying. I'm more experienced at flying then her so I will catch up quickly. Answer quickly before she gets too far away." Vira was amazed of the control Ikovi had over Salanim, it was almost frightning even to her. Vira looked up at the sky, Maybe I can stop her from here.

Hanako flew faster and faster, weaving lower in and out of the trees in silence, blanding in with the darkness now, becoming once with the night. She hated it, but she hated leaving Lichen back there even more. "Hang in there Lichen." She whispered as she flew in closer and closer, Not far now... just make it back to me. Don't make me return for you. Her wing caught on a branch at that very moment. "Not, good." She fell to the erath, rolling a bit as dust was kicked up from her fall. "Oww." She looked around and sat quietly, "Maybe no one followed." She whispered.
Katsumi's head was pounding, she counted at least one broken rib, maybe two. Her arms felt like jello and she knew both wings were broken once more. Her body quiverewd as she tried to move, to even blink or raise her head, but it seemed like useless effort. She was down for the count this time. That was until she started to glow a faint red, soon she was glowing brighter, healing her little by little. "Ahh.." She cried out in pain, "Salanim, you are so dead for that one." She mumbled under her breath as it seemed her mother was really watching out for her and was helping to get her back on her feet. A few seconds later she lifted her head, "Salanim." She growled, closing her eyes in pain as she stood, swayed and had to lean against the wall, still glaring at Salanim.
