A Trip (Mika + Akemi)

Mika blushed when she heard his reply.She bitthe inside of her cheek to keep her from getting all giggily.
"Well thats good,"Her mom responed,"So why have you come here?".Mika looked at her mom.Her mom smiled lightly at her.Mika eyes drifted over to Seraph waiting for his reply.

Akemi could see the smile and feel the joy from his response in just looking over at Mika. He nodded slowly as her other responded, "Ah... yes, of course." He said then looked to Mika who was looking at him, waiting fro him to respond to the new question. He smiled, "That one is simple, everyone gets home sick." He closed his eyes with a smile, "I can allow you two some time to catch up if you wish?" He asked unsure of what he would do, but he would hate to stop them from talking about anything.

"Ah,thank you for letting have some time to catch up,"Her mom replied.Mika smiled and wlaked over to her mom and grabed her hands and pulled her to the island and onto a seat next to her.
"You can..um..Watch tv or take a look around the house Seraph,"Mika told him.She looked over her shoulder at him.She smiled.She looked back at her mom and filled her in on what its like in Heaven and everything else.

Akemi nodded slowly, "Yeah.. take your time." He said looking around wondering what to do. he hated being in unfamiliar surroundings. He would feel weird to look around, making him feel like a criminal or something of the sort. So instead of snooping around he sat down on the couch and looked around. Looking at the scattered pictures that lay around the room in higehr places of the family and Mika when she was younger. He had to smile, he loved memories like pictures.

"So.."Mika mummbled nothing to say.She looked around at her house and the pictures.She smiled seeing some of her and her parents.She sighed lightly and got up.She took a cup out of the cupboard and poured water into the class.She siped some of the water and sat down gently next to Serpah.
"How do you like it here so far?"Mika asked.

Akemi looked over as Mika had sat down next to him and he smiled, "I'm not one to be used to any of this I suppose, but its nice." He said looking around once more before his eyes rested on her again. "I bet you feel better now that you were able to come back." He would have said the same but he was born an angel, he was only feeling at home when he was in the Heavens. he closed his eyes slowly remembering his parents but then shook away the memory as he opened his eyes again.

"Yeah,"Mika replied.She smiled at him and watched him close his eyes then open them.She wondered about something.Sh took a sip of water and looked at the blank tv screen.
"Do you miss your parents?"Mika asked,not looking over at him but at the blank tv screen.She didn't want to see his face if it was sad or angry she had asked that.

Akemi looked back over at her, taken back by the question, but noticing that she wasn't looking at him he looked away. Sighing lightly he nodded his head, "I try not to share the matter with everyone but it seems its noticable me being so young and all." He frowned, "My parents.. well.. they only wanted the best for me. i'm sure they never intended to leave everything to me at such a young age. Without Hideaki and his parents to help me out I would have never made it this far." He shrugged and looked back over at her, "It's not a matter that can be helped, it just happened. I do miss them dearly.. but.. well they are beyond help now. Once an angel dies.. they are gone for good."

"Ah,"Mika replied. She looked up and over at him. She smiled a small smile and looked over at the island. There her mother was sitting and reading a book she had brought down with her. Her mom looked up at her and smiled.Mika smiled back and looked over at Seraph.
"Its good thing you have some nice friends,"Mika told him ,smiling.

Akemi nodded slowly, "Yeah, I suppose it is. For them to have taken me in at such a young age I suppose it was the least they could have done. After that we worked out the plan of the division, it seems to work well.. giving me less to have to worry about. It's not that easy to worry about every angel in the Heavens you know." He smiled before looking back to her mother.

"Ah,"Mika replied.She watched him look back at her mother.She closed her eyes and very very slowly drifted off onto a peacefull island in her mind.She watched the birds fly by the island and listened to the waves crash onto each other.Mika began to hum the song "Once upon a December"on the island but didn't know she was humming out loud in the real world.

Akemi looked back as she heard a soft humming coming from beside him. He smiled, "I still wonder why today was the first day hearing your sweet voice." he paused, "You know.. maybe I can help you out." He said thinking about it, to have her around the castle would be wonderful.. but then he thought about Anna, she would be jealous. he sighed, he could never win with the ladies. He smiled, though that woulden't stop him from inviting her to stay at the castle, there were tons of unused rooms, plus she was new, he usually made exceptions for those angels like the lost children, scared.. that is until they grew and became more stable.

"You could help me?And thank you,"Mika replied comin' back into the real world.She opened her eyes and looked over at Seraph.She blushed for a while and thought.How would he help me and why?She thought.Her expression changed to a confused one and stared at him confused.

Akemi smiled, "Well I'm glad you agreed, you see I have this soft spot for all of the newly added angels. Most are lost and confused when they arrive in the Heaven's, it's my job to welcome them and make them feel at home. But with the losses they suffered most don't want any help until they open up a bit more and accept it. Anyways, once we return I would like you to join me in the castle.. I think you will be able to adapt to life a bit more up there, I'd love to listen to your singing everyday." He smiled, "Of course you will be free to do as you wish, but the offer stands."

"Of course I will stay at the castle,"Mika replied.She smiled and got up.She walked over to the dishwasher and put the cup into the dishwasher.She then walked over to the piano and sat down on the bench.She closed her eyes and began to play not knowing she was playing a sad one.She only played a song that held her feeling that she was feeling right there and then.As she play she thought of her Father who was long gone from the earth,heave,and the great depths of hell.
