I thought it was my lunch break.... D:< LEAVE ME ALONE!! I'M OFF DUTY!!!"
The promise:
Special Agent Starr was playing her violin, playing soft music, when a tough knock was on the door. She jumped, creasing her playing, but the music continued. Starr sighed to herself and goes to turn off her music player before heading to the door.
"Starr!" Two voices shouted angrily. Starr jumped back just as she was about to open the door and hide under her desk with a pale face.
"Its them...They know I did it!!" She screams to herself before the door flies open and four hands slam on the desk above her head.
"Starr! Dang it, Starr! We're know you're here!!!" A female voice rang. Starr blinked and looked over her desk to see a pair of a boy and girl. She rolled her eyes in both anger and tiredness.
"I AM NOT TAKING IN ROMANCE CASES!!! GET OUT NOW!!!!" The two looked hot in the face and glared at her, flushing out insults before Starr suddenly hit them with a toy hammer.
"Alright. Alright. Just hurry up and tell me the problem....Betty and Sam <3" The two blurred out the story, cutting each other off once in a while, but Starr heard nothing.
"Uhhh....Apart..." They looked at her, but Starr made the word clear what she meant by pushing Sam out. Starr and Betty sat down first.
"Well." Betty started, thinking of where to start until Starr got up and left the room. Betty sat there, staring at the door wondering if she was talking to Sam first until she came back with a doughnut in her mouth.
"Well..." Betty said again, "Sam started this site, and told me about it...I was happy to join, and helped get it started up. Sam began to invite members, and when the site began to get some members, he put up a staff board in order to give out staffing ranks-"
"Are they still open?" Starr butted in with a evil sparkle in her eyes. *w*
Betty sighed a little and continue without answering, "I waited a bit until I realized no one was joining, so I asked to join. I said I wanted to be admin since I helped, but I would accept being a mod also. He gave me the mod ranking-"
"SO YOU INTERRUPTED MY LUNCH TO FUSS ABOUT NOT GET TO BE AN ADMIN!!?!" Starr flared, Betty giving her a look....an angry one.
"WILL YOU LISTEN?!?!" She yelled, causing Starr to jump again, "He promised he'd appoint me to admin when someone else signs up!-"
"AND THE PROBLEM IS?!?!" Starr yelled again.
"THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN HE GOT A NEWBIE TO SIGN UP AS STAFF, HE APPOINTED HER AS ADMIN, AND KEPT ME AS A MOD!!!" Betty yelled, maybe a little angry Starr cut her off.
"Oooohhhh....I see." She said quietly, sounding sad until she jumped out of her chair and began to dance carmelldasen. Betty sighed a little.
"See ya." Starr said and pushed Betty out, dragging Sam in shortly after.
"Talk." Starr command, but put her hand in his face to silence him and leave again. She came back with a doughnut and sat down to listen.
"Well-"
"Well, you sound like Betty..." Starr mocked before he went on without a mere glance.
"I started a site-"
"So I heard." Starr said quickly in between his words.
"and I invited Betty-"
"Well, that's something I haven't heard." Starr mocked, but giggled to herself.
"Anyways, I invited her and we put the site up together. I began getting members, and started to get the staff team set up. Betty was first to sign up....She's my bestest friend, but I didn't want to instantly put her up as admin...That would be....unfair."
"Boring~~~" Starr chimed in a sing-a-long.
"So, I said I'd put her as admin if someone else signed up. Someone else signed up, but I appointed her as admin instead of Betty."
"Why?"
"....I'm sure all sites have their best friend as the admin below them....its not fair to those who don't know anyone on sites."
"Do you regret your actions?"
"A little....Its true about the internet that without being best friends with the owner, you can't be appointed to a high rank...But, now that its done...I don't want to hurt that girl's feelings-"
"GAH!! I KNEW IT!! THIS IS A ROMANCE CASE!!!! GET OUT!!!" Starr yelled, about to throw Sam out before he jumped in the yelling.
"NOT THAT WAY!" He said in panic as Starr sat him down and let him continue, "Anyways, I don't want to hurt the girl's feelings, now that its already done....Plus, when Betty and me were sending PMs to each other, discussing the situation...."
"That's new." Starr butted in.
"I asked for her forgiveness, and she said she'd hold a grudge forever......"
"A food grudge?"
Sam looked at her a bit, "NO. A grudge."
"That's new too....I only have food grudges....Oh, and grudges where this guy cheats during a sport activity and wins."
"Anyways, after that.....I'm not sure I can work with her being an admin now..."
"Alright. Get out. I'm done...for now...Call y'all back later....I need to start my lunch break you two GLADLY cut into." With that, she pushed Sam out and began to snack.
Now, whose right?! Sam or Betty? Sam may have broken a promise, but Betty has declared a grudge, something that's a no-no among admins.
