Quite the mess

Hideki was simply walking, patrolling his city (I'll be calling her a him, just so ya know! ^^ ). People looked at him and his empty face, knowing who he was despite his face being covered by his thin hoodie. Only the prince of Koiki wore a hoodie, having the city located in a more...deserty area then any other place around. Even the kingdom that was a few hundred miles away, where a kingdom laid in between them, was lush with green. However, when someone cried for help...

"THEIF! THEIF! Wait, no.. THIEVES! THIEVES!" Hideki turned to see men heading towards him. He glared a little for a mere second before having his usual, casual face plop on. He pulled out his bronze short sword, and in mere seconds, the three men were down. They all had blood on them, but more from nose bleeds then anything else.

The people clapped, but Hideki took no notice. He put his short sword away and glanced casually at the unconscious men. He turned to walk away, to continue his patrol, but he froze and suddenly turned to a group. He knew they were not from around there, and it made him suspicious....deeply suspicious. Mostly because his parents died from assassins hired by a neighboring kingdom, and didn't have an idea which kingdom they were from....Both the group in front of him, and his parents killers. He unknowingly gazed at them with half open eyes as he tried to figure out what kingdom they were from.

Hotaru was caught offguard as she fell on her back, Ryuu was no where near to help aid her fall as she fell. She squeaked as she hit the pavement hard, wincing in pain as she did so. Somehow ending up with but a nosebleed as she closed her eyes. She gasped for air, once it came and she felt a bit better she opened her eyes to take in her surroundings. Her sides hurt and she could feel the extra warmth as the blood ran to her mouth. "Ugh.." She mumbled placing a hand to her nose to help stop it. She tried getting up but felt lightheaded and stayed low to the ground. Never in her days had she been called theif, she was appauled. So much for a vacation. She wasn't even dressed funny. Her summer dress, that started off as a baby yellow, was now more of a brown in color from the dust, and she was certain it would have blood stains on it if her nose shall not stop soon enough.

Ryuu heard the gasp before anything else but was too late, He ound Hotaru on the ground and soon followed her. Only to land on his side, he howled in pain and looked up to the face who would say such a thing, who cae to harm his baby girl this time?

Hideki blinked at them. He saw they were obviously low on equipment. He sighed, knowing his people had now attacked foreigners. He walked towards them, unsure whether or not this all was a trick, and picking up the man easily to put him over his shoulder. He then hunched down to pick the girl up as if she was a stick. Without a word, he held her like a baby with one arm, not meaning to treat her as such, but simply didn't have any other way to hold her. He had a red silky rope wrapped under her nose.

He walked without any notice of the weight he now carried, and a castle soon appeared. Dust flew around, and it got stronger. People now emptied the streets, as if it was a routine, and Hideki's hoodie blew off.

The guards quickly opened the doors, and closed it even quicker behind them. A gentle, fragile looking girl with long, purple hair came towards the three. "H-Hideki! What did you do to them?" She asked in worry.

"She still hates me..." Hideki lightly thought, although he showed no notice.

Ryuu gasped, try as he might but he was unable to escape the grasp of this newcomer.. or in these lands they must have lookedlike the newcomers. He sighed as he laid limp, knowing he would have to get him and Hotaru out of this, wondering once again why the other three had to go off on their own. the point of a vacation was to stick together and have fun. He sighed, none the less this porved to be quite the predicament.

Hotaru too struggled, but not so much after seeing as the new stranger cradled her much like her mither used to. She had to blush and look away at the thought of it. It had been too long since she had seen this sort of rough kindness. She shook her head, eyes on what mattered the most, and in that situation her life came first. but could someone looking the way they did and acting this way be so cruel? She hoped not, but a small gasp did escape her lips when his hood blew off. She wondered wehere they were off to now, as the entered a castle. If not for her nose she probably would have been more able to escape, but seeing as her father wasn't struggling anymore she let it be.

Once inside the castle Ryuu's mouth dropped open, "Runa? Hideki?" He rubbed his eyes as he struggled to break free. "It can't possibly be you guys." He shook his head, though Runa looked exactly as he remembered her, only a lot taller and even more beautiful. "Hideki.." He paused and looked onto his carrier, "Your certainly not the Hideki I remember." He mumbled somewhat as his feet finally touched the ground and he backed up to take it all in. Hotaru though was quite confused.

Runa blinked, "W-who are you?" She asked in deep confusion. Hideki simply stared at him, "Weirdo." He stated before turning to leave. However, Runa jumped in front of him, "W-Wait, stay a little longer." She ordered and went in front of the man. She curtsied, "Good afternoon. I am Runa Minato, the queen of Koiki."

Hideki stared at them a bit before realizing he was to address himself. He stepped forward, "Hideki Minato, prince." He felt weird, calling himself a prince. It was a lie, but he was used to lying by now.

Runa smiled, "It seems...You know us? By what means do you relate to us, sir?" She asked, trying to be professional despite the awkwardness she felt.

The doors suddenly busted open, and Runa's eyes went wide, the scene having been familiar with the one in which her parents died in. She grew pale, and frozen. Guards came in from the end of the hall, to aid the fight in which to come.

A dark haired man and a look a like with blond hair came in. The blond haired one was no doubt nervous about breaking in, but the dark haired one seemingly took no notice.

Within seconds, Hideki was rushing towards them, bronze sword in hand. Two guards caught Ryuu and Hotaru as they were dropped. The guard with Ryuu nearly fell on his face form the weight, but held strong.

Hideki went to swing at the blond haired one, but he quickly slipped away. "S-sorry!" She stammered. Hideki didn't hear him though, and went for the dark haired one. The dust kept flying in at an incredible speed. The two guards with Hotaru and Ryuu stood in front of Runa. The guard with Ryuu got tired with the weight, and instantly dropped in angrily.

"D-don't do that to our guests!" Runa warned sternly, but glanced worryingly at Ryuu.

The dark haired man grabbed the short sword by the handle, centimeters from his face. However, the man already was getting worn out, Hideki was far stronger.

Ryuu was greatfu for the escape as he looked the two over, wondering why.. tthough it was a while back. It made sense that they would not remember him. "It was a while back. Though you probab;y do not remember, but I remember the two of you, most exact;ly as you stand before me today. Only.. " Pausing when he heard Queen, something wasn't right, "What of the past King and Queen.. your parents?" He asked but before anything could be answered the doors flung open and once again he found himself being forced down by yet another pair of hands. But he was soon dropped when the guard grew tired of his extra weight. He stood and brushed himself off, "I woulden't be flinging yourself around so freely, though I suppose you don't realize whom stands before you, whom you have tossed aside like you just have." he sighed, "King Ryuu of Irisia stands before you." He said in a somewhat tired sort of voice.

Hotaru was let go of and fell to the ground only to be grabbed once again by someone else. One of the guards she assumed, meanwhile her dress was being ruined. She frowned as she looked around wondering how her father knew these two and yet they continued to find them untrustworthy. She looked up in time to smile, "Sora! Daichi!" She squeaked inher small but cute voice. She wondered how they found them in this situation, gasping when this Hideki fellow started to turn and attack them.

"Ah...A friend my my parents, I presume then?" Runa smiled approvingly, but it held deep sadness and she was no doubt tired.

"Ah...well..." She began to answer, her head softly hanged as she tightened up and frowned. However, the door flew open.

Hideki stopped his actions upon hearing the two knowing these two, and tore his knife from Daichi's grip. Daichi sighed of relief and the guards let Sora go in order to close the doors. Daichi and Sora both walked to the group.

The guard seemed untouched by his rank, having a job to protect the queen instead of listening to neighboring kingdom's king whine about the treatment. However, Runa held up her head to shake it unappealingly and in disappointment. The guard merely sighed and bowed, apologizing in a deep voice.

Runa indeed still didn't trust them all, mostly because a friend of theirs broke in, but she had to hold her proposition as queen. Hideki turned and walked towards the group. The guards were now clearing out to return to their posts, ignoring the scowls they got from Daichi.

Runa turned to Hideki with a glare, "How dare you drop our guests?! What if they got hurt even farther?!" Hideki simply looked at her with half closed eyes as if he was asleep during the fight. Daichi glared at him, holding up his fists in insult.

Hideki looked at Hotaru, Ryuu has behind her, so he could look at both of them by looking at Hotaru. "Were you hurt?" He mumbled simply. He seemed to have said it half heartedly, but at least it was more then Daichi would've said.

Ryuu sighed seeing as the guard was unphased, once all was over he looked back to Runa. "Yes, friends of your parents. It seems I'm too late though. May I ask what happened to them? If it's not too sore of a subject that is." He glanced to Hotaru who was staring at Hideki with wide eyes. She must have looked like a mess and the other two had just burst in, no wonder it sounded as though they were unwelcome.

She sighed and took a step forward, her nose had stopped bleeding finally but she still looked like a ragged doll. She sighed lightly, "I wish I knew more of what was going on here." She spoke in a small voice as she looked back at his father who was looking to Runa for answers. Then looked back to Hideki nodding slowly, "I'm Princess Hotaru of Irisia... it seems we have something in common." She paused, "My mother also passed away a while back." She adedded in a smaller voice as she swallowed back the tears, she had gotten over them only a bit ago. She bit her lip, looking past Hideki now to Sora and the mumbling Daichi, as if to ask what took so long.

(Kero. ^^ You can join any time. Like, another break in or you ask the guards to let you in or maybe you sneak in. XDDD)

Runa smiled sadly, "About a month ago they were killed by assassins." Hideki nodded, not seeming to take anything to heart, and ignored Hotaru until she stepped forward. He glanced at her, and bowed like he was taught to.

Daichi glared at her as if saying she was at fault, but was clearly angrily at Hideki for some reason.

Runa simply smiled, "You may get a explanation, but first, you must rest. You may venture the castle freely if you wish. The guards are to treat you with respect and answer any questions you may have." Hideki stared at her, maybe a little angry that she gave them the freedom to venture, but he did not show such a emotion.

Runa smiled again and wearily said, "I welcome you to our kingdom, King Ryuu and Princess Hotaru." Hideki bowed again, and Runa curtsied. "I...must be going." She said and turned to leave.

"You have visitors." Hideki sharply glanced at the guard, about to protest, but Runa jumped in before she left for good, "Let them in!" Almost instantly, a girl with long ponytails and a light blue dress glomped Hideki with a shriek of happiness, "Hideki!~~"

Hideki backed up a inch and held out his foot, making the girl trip. A man with black and red hair ran to her and helped her up. "H-Hideki~~" She cried running to him, and latched herself to his arm and pointed at Hotaru. "Who is that girl!??!" She demanded.

Ryuu turned away as Runa told him about their parents, he frowned, "I'm terribly sorry, i should have heard news from them." He paused, about a month ago though.. maybe it would have been to soon to leak any knowledge of the subject. But having their childern take over in such short notice. He shrugged it off, "Anyways, we appreciate your kindness." He said bowing slightly to show kindness then he turned back to Hideki, he wanted to know more about her.. and why she well.. looks this way now. Acting all.. boyish.. if that's even to speak. The last time he saw them they were both in cute frilly drersses, following each other everywhere, they were so cute. he smiled in spite of it, then looked him over, he'd changed... and not necuessarily for the better. He was about to ask what happened when the doors burst open once again and a girl bounded in and tackled Hideaki. Ryuu could see this wasn't meant to be if he hadn't the chance to ask yet. He shrugged and looked to Sora and Daichi.

Hotaru, watched as Runa and Hideki both looked thankful to have them here, allowing them to roam as they wished. She started towards Runa wondering about a spare change of clothes and a warm bath when the doors burst open again and all of a sudden she was being pointed at rudely by some random girl. She looked angry.. or maybe just jealous. She had yet to put together the matter on Hideki being a female and not a male. She turned to see the girl and sighed, "I'm princess Hotaru of Irisia, pleasure to meet you." She said curtseying before turning away, she looked like a mess, she'd no intentions of staying to chat. She started walking towards Runa once again. Her father had to jump to conclusions as he looked to the new girl. "Mind your manners miss." He sort of growled making Hotaru turn towards him, "Daddy." She puffed, not very happy he had to act up in this sort of position.

Shizuka gazed at her a little and walked over. She walked around her, poking her in the side before standing up straight, "I'm not worried!~" She chimed. She cheerfully held out a hand, "I'm Shizuka Mokiza! But, you MUST call me Chibi!" She grinned and turned to pointed at Ken, who was simply standing there next to Hideki, "And that's my brother, Ken Mokiza! Only I can call him Ken though! You call him Ken'ichi."

Ken raised a hand in greeting before lazily pointing out, "I'm not really her brother, just so you know."

Shizuka puffed a little, but ran to Hideki, "I'm also Hideki's Fiance!!!!" She yelled REALLY loud. Hideki stared at her, obviously bored with her. He released himself from her gasp and went to Hotaru, "I'll take you two to your quarters." He said simply.

He noticed she was trying to follow Runa, who had now disappeared, so he decided to help, mostly because it would help him get away from Shizuka. Shizuka froze, shocked despite it being so predictable. He was unsure whether or not to hold out his arm for her to hold as he lead, like he saw the REAL princes do to lead princess, so lightly stuck out his arm stiffly.

However, seeing his short sword was between them, he quickly twisted the belt so it was on the other side, then adjusted it so the point was facing the back. It would slow him down from taking it out, but it would be more comfortable for the situation.

Shizuka could be heard, loudly yelling at everyone about how Hideki just ditched her, and didn't even think about following him!

Ryuu sighed seeing as he got his usual evil look from Hotaru before the two introduced themselves. He looked to Shizuka and frowned seeing as she was just asking for trouble. He had to grin when Hideki blew her off more than less and held out a stiff arm for Hotaru. Helping her in the process he wondered what she would do. Before looking to Ken'ichi and felt bad, to have to deal with that storm must be mearly impossible. He laughed and looked away.

Hotaru felt the poke at her side and looked up to see Shizuka, and before she knew it Hideki was holding out an arm and offering to help her out. She was taken back but smiled, he was going out of his way to be poliet, "I..uhm... thanks." She said sheepishly grabbing to his arm like most she always did when the servants did that same. As much as she hated it she wasn't about to yell at him for not knowing. He was being a gentleman, and why yell at him for trying to be nice? As much as she hated being treated as a princess she coulden't avoid the matter. She took one last look over her shoulder before everyone disappeared, "So.. Hideki.. do you get all of this everyday? So much excitement.. even our place isn't this popular." She said with a friendly smile.

"It's just her..." He simply said, not much for small talk, but figured it was rude. But, he put it to the side and turned a corner. He stopped suddenly and released himself from her grasp to point at the door on her side.

"That's your room. King Ryuu's in right there. They have their own bathrooms, and if you need anything there's a guard at the corner of every hall and in front of the throne room." He pointed to the door on his side and with that, he walked away only to be stopped by a sharp hand.

Daichi glared at him, "Well. I'm sure we're your guests too..." Hideki simply brushed his hand off without effort and pointed to the door next to Ryuu's just to shut him up.

"Share that with the blonde." He said and continued. Daichi glared at him with a fist in the air. However, Shizuka ran and glomped Hideki once more.

"I want to stay too, Hideki-kun~~~" Hideki tore himself from his body and walked to Ken, dropping her into his arms. Shizuka, however, was in dream land, thinking he was personally bringing her to a room. She giggled, obviously thinking awkward thoughts that made Hideki freeze with embarrassment before walking off once more.

Hotaru smiled slightly then sighed, thinking he's not much of a great entertainer. She frowned but before she could say anymore they had turned a corner and stopped, his arm was gone from her grasp and he pointed to a few doors, explaining about them and then was gone. She was left standing there looking somewhat dumb. She sighed again and walked over to her door, she hesitated before pushing it open and closing it behind her, leaning against the door to close it while she looked around. "Wow." She gasped, it not being anything like her own room but it was still huge and yet perfect. She smiled, "This will do." She added before wandering in to find the bathroom to clean herself up.

Ryuu looked back as Hideki had returned with Shizuka and placed her into Ken's arms he laughed before wandering down the hallways. He looked over his shoulder at Sora, knowing that they were all safe in here, but Hotaru was alone now. He shrugged it off and followed the path they had just taken. He could hear movement once he had found the rooms. He looked around and spotted a room, he pushed it open assuming it was his own for the stay.

Runa stood between the two doors of Ryuu and Hotaru's. She wanted to tell them something, something she found that Hideki would have her hide if he knew what she was to tell, but they knew her parents, and they had to know. She clentched her chest a little, her weary eyes from the unfamilar weight on her shoulders had taken their toll, but she managed to look as strong as she could.

She waited a while before finding it more apporpiate to knock on a girl's room, seeing as how King Ryuu might need more time to change and what not.

"M-Miss Hotaru?" She shyly said a little as she tapped nervously on the door. She wasn't sure if she was allowed, but she slowly opened the door stiffly, not sure if she was to actually enter yet.


Hideki was at the end of the hallway where it came to a dead end, but with stairs that lead to the royal halls. He dangerously twirled his sword with his fingers in the middle of the blade, but it suddenly flew at the wall behind him. He was sitting in a cushion seat facing a window and didn't even look at the wall at which he hit.

However, inches from the blade was a blue haired maid who was nervously sweating. Hideki looked at her from over his shoulder.

"You're going the wrong way..." She looked at him a little before suddenly beaming.

"WOW!! H-HOW DID YOU KNOW WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING?!?!" She shouted, nearly knocking Hideki off balance.

Hideki sighed, seeing the girl's sparkley eyes, "Only two maids are assigned here....Their foot steps are a lot lighter..." A hammer went flying at his face, catching Hideki by surprise just as it hit his face.

The maid marched off, leaving Hideki sitting on the floor with his hand over his face in confusion.
