A New Chapter...

"Cloud...? I donno, I just have. We're like friends, but closer I guess... if he wasn't so emotionless he'd probably agree. Otherwise he’ll just say that I’m something like a friend… his responses are usually undecided.” She frowned, slightly irritated. “Why do you ask? Heard bad rumors about him huh?” she asked, resuming her old cheerfully overexcited mood. She listened for a moment before sighing. “Geez, well if you really want to go, you should. There’s nothing here you’ve never already been to. You’ve got no life, no friends, you can’t even fight… is that really what you want? To become king? Because there are a lot of positions open for warriors. And besides, you can’t live your life working off of Raidon’s choices… you know, we could just kidnap you if you want.” She added a lot blunter than she intended to be. She smiled, already scheming.

Harumi nodded and blushed a bit. She thought for a while before starting again. “Then I hope he’s n a good mood… even if he’s not I guess it doesn’t really matter because you can’t really tell.” She said, laughing on the inside. “Don’t worry though, I mean, there’s nothing he can really do right now, so just be yourself okay? And plus, I love you… so he’s going to have to love you too… eventually.” she said as they neared the ballroom. She could hear the sounds of people inside and smiled. “If you want, we can dance again, afterwards…”

Tadashi looked at her, she was completly serious about the whole kidnapping bit. He grinned, "Well if you say it that way then perhaps I don't have a choice in the matter. I think I would enjoy that more than this castle life. being caught up in all of this for far too long with nothing more to do than reading and expanding my knowledge, even though I've read over the entire library more than ten times." He sighed, "As for the whole Cloud bit, I've only heard of what the rest speak of him. Nothing horrible, I'm not one to be intimadated too easily, but I do think having the skill to fight in a real battle would be fun. Cloud sounds like a nice guy though, I think if necessary i would place my life in his hands. Being more like a good friend to you I'm sure he tolerates you traveling with him, less of course its necessary for your training or what not." He smiled, "So you attend missions or what not then?" he asked growing curious even though he knew some of it would be top secret stuff.

Raidon thought it over, "Love me? Cloud... hun that'd be a bit odd don't you think?" He said with a grin, "Now more dancing sounds liek fun, it's been so long since I'd danced with such a wonderful partner as yourself. But even so your better than all the rest." he placed his arm around her waist to pull her closer and kissed her cheek, before he pulled open the door for the ballroom, amazed at how far she had come because of her inner strength. He was so proud of her.

((0.o Did you want to keep Yuffie, Cloud, and Tadashi going after the wedding? It would mean making up a whole new plot and stuff…))

Harumi nodded and shook her head as he spoke. “What’s wrong with that? Bear and Yuffie love you, Cloud should too... even if he really is a bit impassive.” She said cheerfully. She brightened up as he started on them dancing. “Really? That’s crazy; I’ve never danced before… I guess fighting helps with grace though… Still, you’ll have to lead again. I’m pretty lost without you…” she said, blushing at the way her words sounded, but smiled as he pulled her close. She kissed him back and smiled as he brought them into the ballroom.
Yuffie smiled maliciously. “Great, then we’ll capture you the day after the wedding. Let go of this place… we’ll bring you back later, you know, make sure everyone knows you’re okay and then we’ll keep going. It’s not like they’re going to follow us all over the worlds.” She laughed. “Cloud and I just well… he makes deliveries and I steal them. If a village is in trouble we try and help… or I do. Cloud only helps when someone asks. Then we help our other friends with their worlds too. We move fast, but you’ll get the names down in no time, I promise.” She said, excited to have another friend suddenly. One could spoke the same language and was happy to talk to her. “Remember though, once you leave, you have to go all the way. I mean you wake up at six and keep fighting until you get home… or to a safe zone. Think you can handle it, being a prince and all?”

(I think that would be an awesome idea, especially if Harumi and Raidon sort of fade out or what not with nothing more interesting. Aside from the king and queen bit.)

Raidon smiled, "Not a thing then, it would be wonderful to have even more love spread around." He grinned at her, "You know looking you over I would think you'd be more of a dancer, even still I've no problem taking the lead for m'lady." He paused, "Lost without me eh? You really don't know how adorable you just sounded, love." He walked into the ballroom behind her then allowed her to lead him around to find Cloud. "Alright, if you saw him around there..." he paused, "Well you should be able to find him again then." He smiled.

Tadashi had to grin, "I suppose that sounds like a plan then. Being captured and brought all around the world, sounds like a true adventure. But then again, I hope I can learn all of the names and how to fight well in a short amount of time. Though I have been called a very fast learner before, it should be nothing." He smiled, deliveries, and fighting until a safe zone. Well it would all make since, considering they didn't want to die in some enemy territory or what not. Then Yuffie spoke again she sounded as if she was only growing more and more excited, "A prince? Perhaps we can use that to our advantage.. though only if I can master these fighting techniques." He thought about it, wondering if he was up to learning something new, which was a stupid statement because he was always up for something like that. Lillie and Ryou had noticed Tadashi looking as if he was having fun and had to grin. The security was tight but it seemed everything was staying calm. Lillie ushered them over to Tadashi. "Having fun Tadashi?" She asked in a cheerful voice, wondering what the two were up to.

Yuffie smiled and glanced over at Lillie and Ryou. She glanced back at Tadashi before making up some lies. “Well, we’ve been looking for someone for Tadashi to hang out with. It’s a good thing you guys had this party, otherwise he’d be here bored again. Right Tadashi?” she asked, making it seem as if he was happy to be there. She smiled slyly on the inside, making sure to fill her mind with thoughts that seemed to go along with her words in case Lillie tried to read her mind. “So what about you guys? You seem… tense.” She said a bit curiously.

Harumi nodded. Though she couldn’t read any of the energies, it didn’t take her long to find him again. He was looking for her now after all. “Hey Cloud, you think I’d be cuter with my hair up higher?” Aria asked. Cloud blinked, somehow unable to respond. “That girlfriend of yours is gone right? Oh, who cares, it’s not like she could do anything to me anyway.” She mumbled. She glanced back towards him, only to find a very angry brunette staring back at her. Her hair was in a long braid, tied with a pink bow at the end. “Back off…” she growled. Aria raised one of her eye brows in amusement and shrugged. “I know, I know, I just like seeing you come out. I’m not that desperate for him.” She giggled. Aeris watched as she walked off, not intimidated.

“Cloud!” Harumi shouted, a bit surprised at how quickly he was walking past them. She frowned a bit, wondering what was wrong before she noticed Aeris and Aria who stared challengingly at each other. “Come with me then, I can’t stay here…” he mumbled, glancing over to Raidon a moment before walking past him as well. Harumi hardly noticed. She followed after him, easily keeping his pace until he stopped, on the other side of the room. “Hey… you came…” she said, suddenly at a loss for words. Cloud nodded and they were both silent for a few seconds. Harumi wanted to hug him, but she didn’t, unsure if he’d even hug her back. Cloud sighed and turned to Raidon. He crossed his arms, ignoring then tension he knew Harumi could feel. “And you’re looking the same as last time… don’t worry though, I’m not here to take her. I’m here to talk to you.” He said a slight bit of urgency in his voice.

Tadashi grinned a bit more as Yuffie took over but he nodded to go along with it. "Yeah, It seems I am having fun." Lillie smiled, "Well it's about time." Ryou was swaying to the music somewhat oblivious to the conversation, looking as if he was in hsi sown little world, looking elsewhere and smiling at the guests. Tadashi looked over at him with a gesture to his mother, "Ignore him." She said shaking her head, "I appologize for his odd behavior." She said stepping over a bit to hide him from view. "I'm glad you kids have found someone else to talk to then, Tadashi always hated these things. I have to say this is the first time he looks as though he's enjoying himself." Tadashi pinkened in the face, "Mom!" He said embarassed, she only giggled, "Hun you know the people love that. It's rare they get to see you having fun and smiling, it's pure gold if you ask me." She winked at him before grabbing Ryou's arm, "Tense.. perhaps. But it was just a pasing phase, nothing to worry about." She said with a smile as she dragged Ryou off to leave the two alone. Tadashi was still pink in the face when he glanced over at her, "Sh..she's a bit odd herself." He said still sounding embarassed.

Raidon walked through the crowd with Harumi wondering what was going on around the place. Glad to see nothing out of the ordinary was around. He was stopped as he realized Cloud was walking by, he looked beyond him at the two and sighed. Well almost everything, he thought as he walked back to a quiter spot with Harumi and Cloud. He stayed quiet as he listened to him, almost glad that he had showed. He looked to Cloud almost expecting to grab Harumi and run, but he sighed in relief as he said that he wasn't here to do so. He nodded, "Perhaps I should be relieved in the matter, but with those words, well.. more or less I have been concerned." He paused, "If your staying until the wedding then perhaps we can talk a bit after the party." He said knowing it would be a risk, but he needed to hear waht he had to say, he also figured that he woulden't tell him here and now when there were so many listening.

Yuffie laughed, but shrugged his embarrassment off. “No problem, I knew you were weird when you called me Ms. Yuffie.” She said bluntly. “Still, don’t get embarrassed now. If you go with us, you’re going to be uncomfortable most of the time… fighting, getting hurt, taking care of each other… it’ll be fine though. You trust me, right?” she asked. She waited a moment before taking it back. “Don’t worry about it, there’s no way you could really answer that. By the time we get out though, I’ll make sure to prove that I’m trustworthy.” She said cheerfully. She turned away, and walked towards the crowd. Before she disappeared though, she turned and motioned Tadashi to follow her.

“No, I haven’t slept in three days. We’ll have to talk tomorrow morning. You don’t mind him being gone a few hours right?” He asked. Harumi nodded. “I do. I want to come too.” She said. Cloud shook his head, absolutely. “No. I’ll make sure to hang out with you later. I need to talk to Raidon first though.” He said. Harumi clenched her fist, but relaxed it. She didn’t want to fight, and Cloud was the wrong person to get into a fight with. “I need to make sure…” “Last time I checked you deceived me, Harumi. If anything I should be looking for your trust, not the other way around.” He said emotionlessly. Harumi fell silent, obviously hurt by the comment, but acknowledged it. “Fine.” She mumbled. “Anyway, this is your decision Raidon. Meet me and Aria in front of the castle. We’ll be there whenever you’re ready, or until eleven am.”

Tadashi sighed, at least she wasn't making fun of him all that much. It seemed she was only giggiling at his father, least he hoped that was so. He shook his head, "I suppose it's true though, not being able to get out much in the past, I'm not much of an exciting person." He shrugged it off as she started talking of the future, his future.. he was growing a bit excited for it. Wondering if it could really haoppen. He nodded slowly, "No.. I guess I can't answer that." He had only known her for a bit, but somehow he did somewhat trust her. He turned for a second to see his parents disappear into the crowd and turned back just to see Yuffie beckoning him to follow her. He blinked once but nodded and tagged along after her, wondering what she was up to now.

Raidon listened to him with a bit more concern, he did sound urgent.. it must be something incredbly important. he nodded slowly, seeing as it needed to be said, a few hoours. "Tomorrow morning then, the earlier the better." he said as he slipped his hand into Harumi's and squeezed it lightly. He was trying to reassure her, if anything should happen to her there would be h8ll to pay, but he would see to it that she was well guarded. He would send over his parents if need be. "I will wake early and meet you in the front, where you have arranged." He sounded confident, but most of it was for Harumi, he knew how she must feel right now and he would have to be sure that she understood that everything was going to be alright. Even though he wasn't too sure himself.

“Don’t worry about that either. I’ll bring the interesting out of you…” Yuffie thought as she looked around for Cloud. She noticed Aeris and smiled before shortly running into everyone else.

Cloud nodded and turned to leave. He felt Harumi’s eyes on him, and turned to face them again. He sighed, a bit upset and patted the top of her head. “I’ve got aria and Joseph under control for now. Even though it seems like it, they can’t do very much but show up. I promise. And… I won’t leave without talking to you first alright?” he asked. Harumi nodded silently and he left. “Are you afraid?” Harumi asked quietly. She glanced at Raidon after Cloud had gone, and sighed. “You don’t have to go you know? It would be safer to stay here.” She said lightly.

“I’m stealing Cloud for no apparent reason! I’ll bring him back later!” Yuffie said, rushing past the two and grabbing Cloud. She glanced back to where Tadashi was and smiled back at Cloud. “Hey I’ve got a recruit! You think he could go with us when we leave??” she asked. Cloud stared at the young prince for a moment before looking at Yuffie again. “I know, he can’t fight, but he can heal!” she said. Cloud frowned a bit. “What, like you tried to recruit Harumi?” he asked. Yuffie smiled a bit and shook her head. “No… I’ll make sure to take care of him! And I’ll train him this time! Please Cloud, let him go too! You know how boring royal life is!” she whined. Cloud blinked, saying nothing and continued to leave. “Then why are you asking? You don’t travel with me anyway.” He said. Yuffie glanced at Tadashi for a moment and smiled nervously again. “Because… I need help kidnapping him.”

Raidon nodded as Cloud left and sighed lightly, "Afraid? I suppose you could saw that. I have no knowledge of what he plans to tell me. For all I know he's here to tell me that he's going to try and steal you away from me. Or perhaps that Joseph is going to pull something." He shook his head, "I don't like it anymore than you do, but maybe this is very important as he says. You can't say you not at least a bit curious to know what he has to say?" He frowned, "I'm going to go, but if anything fishie happens then I will be sure to alert the guards. Nothing will be done until we find out what needs to be said." He finished just as Yuffie rushed past them and grabbed a hold of Cloud. they were a bit away so he had no idea what the two were saying. Instead he looked back to Harumi, "Come on then, no more worrying of the future. Let's have some fun." He smiled at her and kissed her cheek before leading her towards the dance floor.

Tadashi tagged along wondering where they were going until Raidon and Harumi came into view. he smiled as Yuffie continued but grabbed someone beyond the two. He figured this must be Cloud and stayed back a bit. He looked around and moved aside as Harumi and Raidon passed by him. Raidon smiled, "Hey Tadashi." He smiled back, "Hey! Glad to see your having fun." He said as Raidon nodded, "You as well, you know that's rare. You need to get out more." Tadashi nodded as the two walked off, vanishing into the crowd and Tadashi made his way over to Yuffie.

Yuffie smiled at Cloud as he kept up his emotionless face. She smiled harder as the silence continued and he started to frown, realizing she was serious. “You want to kidnap him.” He said. Yuffie nodded. “Yeah, he already knows. He agrees too though so no worries!” she replied. Cloud stared at her as if she didn’t understand what was going on. He spoke slowly. “You know that everyone’s going to be worried and scared over him?” he asked. Yuffie nodded again. “If we play our cards right we might get to hold him for ransom too-“ she said, but didn’t finish as Cloud walked off. “Wait I need your help though! I’ve never kidnapped anything alive before…! Besides Potatoe.” She whined. Cloud took both of her shoulders and sighed. “You can’t kidnap him. He’s too important to the castle.” He said. Yuffie backed away and crossed her arms. “Fine, if you won’t help, I’ll find someone else.” She said slightly bored. “Like the guy Aria brought. He can’t hurt anyone anyway, I bet I could get him to help me in exchange for a mail box…” she mumbled. Cloud glanced at her and sighed, slightly irritated now. “Great, we’ll grab him right after the wedding. Everyone will be too busy to notice! We’ll disguise him as a chibi and…” she paused, watching Cloud leave, and decided to go over details later. She walked back to Tadashi and smiled. “He’s in! He says the day after the wedding is best!” she said cheerfully lying threw her teeth.

Harumi watched Cloud and Yuffie before noticing Tadashi. She frowned slightly wondering about the strange combination of people before Raidon captured her thoughts. She blushed a bit and agreed, allowing him to take over. “Right. We better enjoy the night while we can.” She said, smiling again. So far everything seemed to be alright. Joseph was taken care of and Cloud seemed to be busy with his own things. She sighed, happy and yet a bit anxious about everything.

Tadashi nodded, "Good, that sounds like the plan then." He said not really able to tell that se was lying considering she sounded like she normally did. He looked back over from where she came to see Cloud walking off. He tilted his head to the side in curiousity but brushed it off and looked back to Yuffie, "So.. until then.. I guess we should just have fun." He said with a smile.

Raidon smiled, as they weaved their way to the dance floor and Raidon pulled her close. "How fortunate, a slow song." He said with a bit of a grin, "Having fun will have to be our objective. Cloud has things under control for now, we just need to stick close together." He said wondering if all of that was really true, he had doubts on this Cloud matter, but for now he had to trust him, even if for the morning. Though he dread the time that was to come.

Yuffie blinked slightly confused suddenly. “Have fun huh?” she asked quietly. She thought for a moment and turned back to him. “Alright then. What exactly do you do here for fun? You don’t like the parties… unless you’re good at singing, karaoke is a choice but, and it is kind of embarrassing to get up there…” she said thoughtfully. She looked around the room and then back at Tadashi again. “Any ideas? If not, you can always show me around the castle. It might help in case I get caught.”

Harumi blushed a bit and let him lead. She rested her head on his chest and nodded. “Always… so after this, you know what I think we should do…?” she asked softly. She looked up at him and smiled a bit more. “We should go sing. It’s just another one of those things we’ve never done, you know?” she asked, starting to get drowsy from the slow music. She sighed calmly and looked up at him again. It all seemed so much like a dream that she was afraid of waking up from it.

Tadashi smiled, "Yeah, never sang like that before, not too good at it to begin with." he chuckled, "I can show you around, that's not a problem." He nodded looking around, he knew he wouldn't be missed, and if he was.. well that was just too bad. Though he was curious in the matter when she said is she were to be caught, what exactly did she mean by that? He was curious but instead of asking just lead her out into the hallway where it was a bit quieter.

Raidon held her close as they danced in step to the music, allowing it to take him as he did so. He looked down at her and smiled, "You think we should?" He thoughtit over, he hadn't done that since he was just a kid. he used to run around singing his head off. He chuckled a bit to himself as he nodded, "That sounds like fun, and something else we should do together for the first time, much like dancing." He smiled and kissed her for head, waiting for the song to end before he made his move.

Yuffie looked around a bit, noting windows and doors. She wasn’t sure about any magical doors, but the one’s she saw were pretty good on their own. She then looked over to Tadashi and smiled. He was a bit bigger than she was, but if she needed help dragging him away, she could always get Potatoe to help out. “Hey, so have you ever been in a fight before? Or, have you gotten punched in the face, or knocked unconscious?” she asked randomly. She tried not to sound too strange, but she needed to settle on a plan to get him out of the castle.

Harumi nodded, enjoying the dance as it lasted. She wasn’t sure if she was going to stay awake the entire time, so she quickly made a decision as the song came to an end. “I’ll meet you there okay? I’m going to go get something to drink.” She said softly. She glanced up at Raidon and smiled, remembering how she’d just left to and gotten into trouble. “Trust me; it’s just to the table and back there. I can’t get lost or in danger.” She added, hoping he wouldn’t worry about her. The party was still going. She wasn’t sure how much longer she could keep up unless she got something to wake her up.
