Samuel chuckled uneasily. "Better go find him some food then!" he said, remembering the many times he'd looked at groups of people as menus. "Let's go see what they have down stairs!" he said going to open the door.
Samuel's stomach was completly empty. All of his food was converted into energy so he needed to act fast. "Last one down stairs is a rotten... er... old dish towel!" he said.

Brutus bolted after Samuel , "Brutus dear, stop terrorizing Bear-kun." Anne ran after them laughing, she didn't care if she was still wearing her pajamas. "I'm starving~" she said as she caught up with them. Brutus was swimming around the air and then around the refrigerator as if it caught a scent.
"Hold up blood hound, what is it? Something in here?" Anne opened the refrigerator door and saw cooking ingredients.
"Wow, looks like enough for all of us,"

Samuel glanced back and hurried down the stairs. He looked around and noticed a raw steak and cookie treat the owners left for him. "I'm not a dog, I'm not a dog..." he repeated pokeing at it. "Geez, do you know how to cook Anne?" he asked sadly. It'd been about the third time the owners left him some type of puppy food. "Oh well, lets just find some bagels and go. I'll write the owners a thank you letter!" he said, leaving for a moment.

Brutus noticed the meet and opened his sharp toothed mouth and went straight in for the kill. He ripped the meat into shreds gulping it all down like a raptor. Anne watched amazed, "Wow, you're a greedy bugger you are. Well, we have pancake mix and a bit of sausage. I'll make us some breakfast on me. Oh, and tell them we cleaned up the room before we left k Bear?" Anne took out the ingredients and started to cook.

Samuel watched in horror as he listened. "Y- yeah, I'll tell them..." he said staring at Brutus. He sat down and puffed up a bit. "I'm bigger! Maybe stronger... I've got claws! Toughen up man!" he thought. He nodded, still staring at Brutus. "Pancakes are awesome. Thanks Anne." he said uneasily.
Smauel went over to Brutus and poked him. "So, you like meat huh...?" he asked, cautiously.

Brutus turned around and looked at Bear with his deep unearthly eyes, it shot out its forked tongue and licked Bear's cheek. Brutus cooed when he returned his tongue.
"I believe he said yes Bear-kun," called Anne from the kitchen. She neatly placed the pancakes on the plates along with the sausage. "Now, to butter them and the finishing touch: syrup!"
"Breakfast is ready Bear~" Brutus slithered over to Anne and coiled aroundn her shoulders.

Samuel smiled a bit at first before wondering if Brutus was tasting him. For the sake of traveling he took the thoughts from his head and followed Anne's voice. "Right! I'll be ready in 5 minutes!" he said, eating quickly before going back to clean. He looked around at the spottless kitchen and smiled. "Thanks again Anne, otherwise we would have had to eat the crackers and cookies that were in the cabinet!" he said, happy to have something different for a change.

"No problem Bear-kun. I have to actually thank you too, for I didn't have a place to stay at first. And Brut-Brut here wouldn't have hatched by now." Anne smiled and kissed Bear on the cheek. "Well, I'm going to shower and change up. We'll meet in the front!" Brutus followed behind Anne as she pranced off into the bedroom. It was still raining outside, and the sky was grey.

Samuel smiled a bit as she left. He waved as they went off and sighed. "Well then, I guess after that we'll be on our way out. Maybe we'll stop somewhere for a vacation between the trip!" he said thoughtfully.
He walked around the kitchen before going outside for a while. People walked by with umbrellas and cars sped back and forth, ignoring the water that sprayed at people around them. He'd finally be leaving. No more passing out fliers, or trying to get anyone's attention. At this rate, he'd be home in no time.

Anne popped out in her usual wear, but instead wearing her hair down she wore it in a ponytail.
"Ready dearie?" Anne asked as she opened her wallet. "Just enough for two of us. Woof-woof is going to kill me for doing this, but I have to be a good samaritan." Brutus bolted out in the rain, twirling around in the cold damp air. The rain was soothing to his scales.
"Wooooooo~" he cried in excitement floating around in circles.
"Brutus dear~ do come back before someone sees you." Brutus immediately returned to her arm.
"Well then, shall we go?"

Samuel blinked at the name Woof-woof but smiled and nodded. "Yup, time to go." he said motioning her to come outside. He watched as Brutus went around in the rain and came back. "You're going to hide him? How come?" he asked. He'd seen stranger things out in the city. In fact, that's where most strange creatures lived, where everyone was too busy or selfish to care. After all, not many people noticed him. A man walking around in a teddy bear's body.

"He's an extremely rare egg. Anyone would do anything just to get him. Rare thing lead to selfish desires, and most selfish desires deal with money." Anne stroked Brutus' smooth head and started to walk. Suddenly,Brutus uncoiled from her arm and floated up above Anne, he began to glow and blue color and rain fell around them instead of on them.
"Well then, looks like you're an umbrella as well~ Thank You Brutus dear~. Come on Bear before you'll get wet!" She reached out to the small stuffed animal and picked him up. She held him close to her chest (his face is facing outward).

Bear glanced up at Brutus and smiled a bit. "Cool. But he looks like he'll eat anyone that tries to get to him." he said, looking up at Brutus. He blinked as she picked him up and looked ahead. Everything was a bit clearer when there was no rain in your face. "So, where to first?" he asked, having no idea which way to go. He pressed a few buttons on his stomach to locate his gps system, but it wouldn't work. With nothing left to really do he let himself be carried and looked around at everything that walked by, before pretending to actually be stuffed.

Anne looked up at the snake creature, "He may look it, but he won't hurt a fly I bet." Brutus cooed abover her in joy and flew ahead making Anne run after him just to keep dry. She began to laugh, "Looks like he got pumped up! Well then, too the station!"

Samuel watched them run and turned into an actual bear. He stretched a minute before charging after them to keep up. Running never was his best sport. Even so, he tried to look calm and happy so not to alarm anyone walking on the sidewalk. It didn't work very well, but no one was brave enough to attack him.
"Cool, I've never taken a train before... is it fun?" he asked, thinking of the many fights he'd seen on top of one. And even better, when you needed to jump off. He was determined to try it. "And where are we going? Some scary forest, or a deserted island?" his mind was filled with strange adventures, most of which he'd never experianced, and would have been much more fun now that he had company.
