The music pulsing in the background, lights shining on her. Sheryl loved performing and loved this band. Didn't matter if anyone else did. Her magic making her sparkle slightly in the light. No one knew she was a mage. No one thought anything of the tattoos on her. Her attire very much the performer. Low rise jeans that hugged her curves before flaring out at the ankles. The black tank top let her tattoos be shown and sparkle in the light.

She knew how to move her body. Turn her hips and look at the audiance. A bit of fog around her ankles kept her a bit hidden. Her hair fell around her face, a few strands in her eyes. Her eyes looking around at everyone.

The little solo for the insturments let her move back and take a break from the lights. It hurt her eyes. Never stopped her before. The others of the band smiled and allowed her the little break. It was over quickly but then she was back, singing and dancing.

As the song ended, she placed the mircophone on the stand and smiled. Her hair was somewhat stuck to her face from the sweat. From the dancing. She did a small bow and then let her band, walking off stage. Sheryl grabbed her staff and disappeared into the night.[/color]

Anne was walking quietly along the streets, the area was new to her. She might as well get used to this new terrain since she was stuck here for seven months. With a sigh Anne stopped, and looked up at the sky. Stars twinkled and the moon shown, Anne couldn't help but smile. Suddenly,a sound of distant music flowed into her ears.
"A...band?" Anne twitched her pipe in her mouth and walked quickly to the direction of the music. She brushed back leaves and branches and was immediately stopped by an applauding crowd.
"Looks like I made it to late," Anne said quietly to herself, she turned and left another direction. As she pondered about the music, she noticed the band and the mysterious singer leaving.

Sheryl made her way through the streets, staff in hand. No one questioned her. They knew she was a bit eccentric. They assumed she was crazy. Not that she was a mage. That was fine by her. A few people had followed her, her band packing away things. They wished for her to sing another song. The band just shrugged. She laughed and shook her head. "Tomorrow! I promise!"
She pulled her jacket around her more. It wasn't too cold out. A rather mild day here in Forks. Well, night. Someone began to play Supermassive Black Hole and she couldn't help going over there to sing along.

A slight tug could be felt in Anne's satchel. She looked down at the bag and smiled.
"Want me to follow her? Do you want me to have a bad impression on this city?" A silence filled the air as if she was waiting for the bag to answer. Finally the silence ended and Anne started to walk.
"Okay,okay, I'll follow her. But when I follow her what shall I say?" Another silence formed between them. Then a sigh was released from Anne.
"You're a weird egg you know that? I really wonder what you will be like when you hatch."
As Anne followed Sheryl quietly she noticed that Sheryl began to sing to a band that was nearby. The lryics made Anne snicker a bit, which gave off her cover.
"Oh crap..."

Sheryl heard the giggle and turned her head. Her hair falling across her eyes. A hand banished them away. She smiled and waved the girl over. She was a performer at heart and loved to sing. The band's singer walked over to her and gave her a hug, telling her she had to sing with him. She agreed, of course.
They walked around to the band again. Sheryl let the giggling girl do as she wished for right now. They could always talk when she was done singing. Or the girl could leave. It was always her choice. She had pulled the jacket off, moving tended to make it obsolete. Her tattoos were glowing with magic.

Anne whistled in amazement. "My first time seeing a mage," she whispered to the egg that rested within her satchel. Anne continued to follow her patiently, getting bored of saying nothing. To her own surprise, she began to whistle an annoying and unfamilar tune.(Anne's whistle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZOa-0QPKXE) A smile filled her face as she followed, oddly she was enjoying herself. |

Sheryl decided to leave the girl alone for a time. No one knew she was a mage. Most people didn't have such a open mind. When the song was done, she looked to the singer and bowed. "I am so sorry. I must go now. That performance took alot out of me." She pulled her jacket on, beginning to feel the cold. They all made a boo sound but laughed and wished her goodnight.
She walked past the girl, staff in hand. She wondered if the girl would follow her or was she only there to hear the song. Then again, why would she be followed? She shook her head, pulling the ribbon from her hair. The soft tresses fell to her lower back, shining black in the fading light.[/color]

"Wait a moment," Anne said calmly. "I need to talk to you, even if I do not have a clue what to tell you." Anne restrained her satchel that was moving towards Sheryl earnestly. Anne smiled her usual mischievious grin. "It would only be a while, I didn't mean to follow you. You see, this treasure here has taken a liking to you." Anne brushed her hair back behind her ear. She wore big-hooped earings and in this good light a green plaid beret was revealed on her head.
"My name is Anne by the way, forgive my suspicions."

Sheryl stopped when called and turned towards the girl. She smiled and tilted her head. Again, a few strands fell across her eyes. She kept them there, looking a bit more mysterious. "It is perfectly fine. I am a mage. It is why i carry this staff." Her eyes moved over the girl, taking in what she could. Kaethal appeared next to her in his usual fashion. The floating ball of midnight flames was not to be seen by the human eye.
"I am Sheryl." She bowed her head, holding the staff a bit closer to her. "And what treasure are you speaking of?" Her eyes clearly saw something magical in her bag but didn't bother trying to look any closer.[/color]

Anne smiled, "First time seeing a magic-user, I'll show you my treasure if we first go to a safe place." Anne looked away,her red curly hair flowing slightly in the breeze.
"Would you be so kind and show me one? A nice quiet place to show you that is, for some reason I feel as if I can trust you. Anyway, I'm new to this world and I am in need of a person to show me around town here." Anne stretched tiredly, "I bet you are tired to, after singing for so long. Don't worry I won't be long."

Sheryl tilted her head. "We are rare, aren't we?" She grinned and looked to Kaethal. He gave her his opinion and stayed close to her. "Somewhere quiet, hm?" She turned and began to make her way to a small coffee shop. Well, everything was small in Forks.
The owners smiled at her and went to make her usual. Everyone knew everyone in this town and it is something she loved about it. She sat in a small corner, taking her coat off. The tattoos on her wrist looking almost... unearthly.[/color]

Anne looked around quietly at the coffee shop. She smiled to herself, "What a warm place, it feels nostalgic." She quietly followed Sheryl and sat down in a seat. "Well then now that we are here, might as well cut to the chase." Anne pulled out a shpere that glowed mysteriously. It looked like a fish egg and you could see within it a weird snake like figure ready to be hatched into the world.
"This little bugger here was beckoning for me to follow you. For some reason, this egg chose me as its master, though I don't seem worthy." Anne stroked the egg's smooth surface and it glowed brighter in return.
"Well then are you happy now? I shown yourself to the girl now what do you want me to do?"
The egg floated over to the unseen being that was near Sheryl.

Sheryl looked at the sphere curiously. The woman came over and handed her the cup. She smiled and the woman walked away. Taking a sip, she placed her hand on the sphere. The black wing seemed to shift, as if moving. She brought her hand back and placed it in her lap. "So you are to be the master of what is in this... egg? Interesting."
She sat back. Kaethal looked at the egg as curious as she had been. He didn't know what to think about it. He looked at Sheryl and she shrugged. "I am as lost as you, Kaethal."[/color]

"Yes," Anne said ordering coffee herself, "He chose me out of the blue in a dream. I was fast asleep, and he appeared in my arms when I awoke." The shpere glowed as if beckoning toward Kaethal to come near and make himself known.
"I have a feeling that little 'Brutus' will be hatching soon. Since, you are 'you know what' do you know anything about eggs? My friend who randomly appeared on Earth one day had within her arms a Griffon egg which is extremely rare."

"In a dream? Well, let me be honest with you. I am a student of magic. I don't know anything about eggs coming in your dreams." Sheryl laughed softly and took another sip of her coffee. The woman came back and gave Anne the cup. "Thank you, Mrs. Salinas." The woman smiled and gave Sheryl a small hug before walking away.
The mage took a deep breath and looked over at Kaethal. He appeared to Anne to get the egg to leave him alone. "'Brutus?'" She laughed again and took another sip. "I do not know anything about this sort of thing. However... there is a person here who may be able to help. Well... she's a vam-" Her words cut off and thought about actually telling her. Her nails drumming softly on the cup, hair falling in her eyes as she looked to the table. The sthingy on the table began moving back and forth. She wasn't concentrating on keeping her magic hidden. If she knew this much, how much else would hurt. "She is a vampire and happens to be here."[/color]
