Riiya nodded, "Have fun with those two. Especially you...brat." Riiya ruffled Daichi's hair. "Be safe Hotaru-nee." With that said, Riiya followed after his father, Ryuu. Walking down the hallways brought back many memories of when he was little at the old castle. His mother chasing after them when playing hide and seek, Hotaru and her 'being broken' stage of life, playing with the castle resident's children. Everything came back to Riiya at that moment. "So, Dad, how have you been? Are your wounds healing...is everything getting better?"

Daichi growled. He personally didn't like the job, but they were practicly already doing it, so why not. Sora smiled, quite pleased with the job. Daichi glared at Riiya, "I bet you wouldn't say that if you knew me!" He spat, sharply looking away in anger. Sora chuckled with a nod, taking Daichi's words the wrong way, "Hmmhm! Daichi's not a brat at all!" He said, as if Daichi wasn't...well...Daichi-like. Daichi glared at him, not sure if it was an insult or a complement, but took it as a insult anyways.

Hotaru smiled as she watched her brother and father wander off up the staiors and towards her father's study. She looked back at the other two and smiled, "Then let's see.. maybe I should show you around first..would that be alright?" She asked tilting her head to the side cutely. She never had personal body guards before, servants maybe, but even then it wasn't the same. Then she sighed lightly, her face had a new liveliness to it, but she knew within due time everything would return to the way it was. Riiya would go off somewhere, and leave her with her incredibly busy father. She was to stay put to learn from him for when she found that special someone and was to take over the throne.. but even then she had a few years to worry about before any of that. But it seemed her personal assistant.. or so she liked to call herself, liked to book her for all of these meaningless visits. Seeing people and places to win their hearts over. She really had no choice in that matter though, not many liked her, they all were wanting her brother to suceed the throne and not her. Saying things like she was but a child, being a girl will mess up the balance, she needs to be wed beforehand.. and so on. It made her feel bad, putting her down and making her think she wasn't good enough. She didn't realize a frown had formed on her lips.
Ryuu smiled as they walked towards the study, "Well as ever of course. Everything is hecic around here and such. It seems there is more work than before now then there was ...then." He said shaking off the subject, "I've healed well enough to move on, the castle is newer.. it seems to have adjusted well enough to the changes, and things in the city are slowly returning back to normal." He looked away, "But I've never had enough time to spend with Hotaru, it seems she has been left alone when you and the others left to worry of other matters. It's nice to see her adapting now, she's run away from the castle contless times. I blaim myself.. I'm a horrible father, sheese I remember the times when she used to come running to me because of some reason or another." He shook his head, "She i still tries to stay by my side, but there's always a gap. When she came back with those two it gave me hope. Maybe she just hasn't seen enough of the world to be happy." He pushed open the door to his study and closed it behind Riiya. "Or maybe she just hasn't been able to let it go, I think she needs to find that one.. someone to stay by her and guard her delicate heart always.. you know?" he asked walking over to a chair and sitting down.

Riiya stepped to the side allowing his father to close the door behind him. "For awhile I was her someone. She looked up to me and I was the only they kept her safe from others. But...things happened and I grew older and wiser. My foolish adventurous spirit tossed her aside and left her for my own selfish reasons. It's not mostly your fault Dad, I'm at fault too. I should have been with her, I should have explained of why I am not qualified to be King to the people so she would not be put down by others." Riiya looked away sadly, "i hope thos two will do a good job in keeping her safe and company." Riiya casually walked over to the window, watching the threesome run about the castle grounds. "I hope there is a way to make things up to her. I'll do anything I can to make her happy again..." A smile came across his face for a moment, "I'm glad you're feeling better Dad. And, it seems like someone just told me not to worry."

Ryuu nodded slowly, "You know just as well as I do why this all came on though. I'm not blaiming her, it wasn't her fault all of this came on to her. She needs to find her own path, make new friends, and be kind to everyone she can. I understand she may not be ready for it jus yet, but little by little she'll get there. I do hope they can steer her in the right direction, they did seem trustworthy." He sighed lightly, "I suppose we won't know until it all plays out though. I'll stay strong until I can't take it any longer and she will move up. She already knows it'd be best to be married when she takes over so she doesn't end up like Alu or me." He added quietly. "It's in her best interests to find him.. I think it will do her good if she can have that magic with someone aside from family."

"I have faith in her, because she is Mom's daughter after all." Riiya chuckled, "I'll stay her for a two weeks then leave again. My foolish adventurous spirit wants to move on." Riiya pulled out the crumpled list and showed it to his father. Over seventy-five percent (I just punned Lol grandma) of the list was completed. "I promised to this girl and to myself, to finish the list and give the prize to Hotaru-nee."

Sora nodded, "Please do." Daichi groaned, "I'm fine on my own." Sora glanced at him and his evil looking hair that made him so cute (>w<), "But....Don't you get lost easily?" Daichi glared at him, "I wouldn't get lost, I'm not even going anywhere." Sora looked in worry, "but, we're Hotaru-hime's guards..." Daichi glared angrily, "I'm not sure you can handle beign a guard. You're a weakling." Sora frown, not angry and still calm, "Daichi-kun..." Daichi didn't answer, instead he walked ahead of Hotaru and to the exit. Only looking back to mouth scilently 'I rather be lost in the netherworld then be stuck with you like we are now.' He didn't care if Hotaru udnerstood either.

Ryuu smiled, "Yes that she is, a very strong girl indeed." He looked around then looked back at him grinning, "You two eh? What's her name? I seem to remember you breaking a few girl's hearts here and there... will you do it again? Or is this one the real deal?" He asked all the while grinning, he ruffled his son's hair lightly. "Such the ladie's man you are.. following in my foootsteps." He winked at him.
Hotaru watched the two bicker back and forth as she went to the doorway again. She had no care in the world whether or not Daichi would follow or not. Missing what Sora was saying toi him without her knowledge. She wated for the guards to open the doors and smiled at Sora when there were out in the bright sunshine, "You think he'll be alright?" She asked walking next to Sora now. She was smiling a wonderful smile and wished for nothing more then to keep it there. She sighed in relief as she walked towards the garden, wondering if she should show him her room. She shook her head, she needed to stay on track. they would have to see it anyways, if they were to keep her safe. She smiled as she entered the gate to the garden and took in a deep breath, "Always my favorite place to escape." She whispered.

"Not my fault that I'm a fox. I broke their hearts because I don't want to screw up anyone elses' D.N.A. I'm already a mixed breed." Riiya counted on his fingers for a second while he thought over something, "I'm four species: Fox,Wolf, kyuubi(ninetails),and Human. The chick that I met up with was an elf. We're only friends though," Riiya began to laugh. "I wonder If I'll ever find my other half in this world. I've traveled to different places, worlds even. I wish...I could take Hotaru-nee with me. Maybe that is a reason why she's like this too." Riiya sighed and walked over to his father's shelf opening up an old photo album. "You guys did a great job on Mom's tombstone. It's really beautiful in Ymir, the marble matches perfectly with the surroundings." He chuckled to himself and flipped through the pages, "Wow....you're hair was really long back then Dad."

Ryuu laughed, "I suppose you are a mixed breed. But do you really want to ruin your chances of finding that significant other and being alone your entire life? Traveling isn't always fun alone you know. Sure escaping the world for a bit is fine but come on.. I know you better than that. Your my son, you can get any girl you want to.. haven't any of them warmed up to you yet? Someone you can't seem to get out of your mind perhaps?" He paused looking him over, "An elf hmm? It's rare to find them around here now a days, they always stay hidden in nature." he smiled, "Was this the one you made the promise with, I assume?"
He watched as he walked over to the album, "Yeah.. that was difficult. But it did get finished and they did a wonderful job on it." He smiled to himself remembering that time.. everyone was up in a panick over what to do, Ryuu, keeping is head on his shoulders, brought everyone back down to finish the job. "It seems not everyone works well under pressure.. or the sadness.." He shook his head, "I suppose it was.." He pulled what he had left over his shoulder, it was only a bit past his shoulders now aside from the normal down his back. "It's easier to care for when your as busy as myself." He threw it behind his back again concealing the little detail he had forgotten. He had it tied back with one of Alu's ribbons, he had found it in one of her jewlery boxes.. deciding to keep it and use it as a memorablia, though he never forgot her, and he never would.

Riiya started to laugh a bit, "Am I that easy to read? Yeah, she was the one. To tell you the truth, I had several girls fall in love with me before I met Mitsu the elf. A sadist, a mute, and a obsesser, all three of them fell in love with me. In the end, I gave them away to someone who they loved all along." He sighed and closed the album, placing it back within the shelf where he found it. "Now girls swoon over me like I'm some new pair of shoes. It annoys me greatly, am I that attractive." Riiya looked at the window hopelessly, That was awkward as heck...I shouldn't ask that to my old man! Riiya laughed it off and nodded, "Hey~ let's just go to hotsprings to catch up. I bet you're just as tired as I am. Maybe we can bring Taru-nee and those two along with us!"

Ryuu watched his son and laughed, "Your asking suich a question to your father?" He smiled, "I think you can be the judge of that one. According to the females they have to agree you are. But I think you know as well as I do that you should never mind the burdon of having someone else to spend your life with. This elf... Mitsu yes? Perhaps she is the one?" he paused as he walked to the window then turned back to face him. "Hot springs.. hmm.. yes. I do think your on to something there, perhaps thats a good idea then." He said smiling now.

Riiya's facial expression changed, he turned his back for a moment and was in deep thought. Knowing that grown brat...he might be do something perverted. Like hell he'll touch my sister. Or maybe.... A chill went down Riiya 's spine and he shook his head abruptly that his ears popped out. "Uh...yeah Mitsu. She's a wonderful person. I hope she finds happiness one day. Okay let's go." Riiya walked quickly out of the study and sped down the hallway in an orderly manner. Maids scattered like mice from him whispering to one another with scared looks. Riiya was blushing red as a beet because of this, "I'm not Kisime for the last time!" Eventually he made it outside and went searching for Hotaru.

Sora nodded, "Last time I left him alone, he ended up getting into a fight though...7 against 1..." He said, suddenly getting a little worried, but shook his head as they came to the garden. He chuckled, "I can see why." He said, looking at her with a bright smile, the sun beating behind him.

Ryuu laughed as he followed him, finding him sying on the other three before he was down the stairs and outside after them. "Clearly he doesn't approve of my chose then." He chuckled to himself before following after them, he stepped out into thr fresh air and took in a deep breath. "Wonderful." He shielded his eyes from the sunlight and started around the side to the garden.
Hotaru giggled as she looked back at the two, "Maybe he's not that well of a fighter then. You know people with minds like that will be dead sooner than the smart ones who step back to think everything through." She smiled, blushing slightly as she looked Sora over, the sun was behind him making him look dazzeling. She turned back afraid to let him see her blushing as she walked into the garden a bit more but her ear perked as someone entered behind them. She turned to see Riiya walking in, "Riiya! How was your chat with daddy?" She asked walking over to him, noticing Ryuu wasn't far behind.
