Samuel’s eyes watered from the memories in his mind and wiped his tears away as they started to sting with the excess oil in his body. “Okay, well don’t worry about my friend. For now we should probably find somewhere to go. The city isn’t safe at night after all…”he said. He felt better now. Even though he really didn’t know the person before him, at least he knew where she was from.

"Sure lead the way." Anne grabbed his hand, "You wouldn't mind would you? I used to do this when I was young anyway right?" She grinned, "My Mum, Meredith, must have been real good friends with you. I mean, to make your eyes water after all. It's a shame I do not remember all what happened back then. But what do you expect? I was only seven."

Samuel trembled, afraid he might start crying again and turned into a stuffed animal. He hugged her and started crying. “I’ve been lost for months! I couldn’t find anyone and someone shut me down. I can’t find her… I just… I went to sleep one day and woke up here somewhere!” he sobbed, though most of his cries came out in small ‘chao’s and ‘cho’s. Once he was finished he held on to her a while longer and sniffed. Finally he let her go and sat on the floor. “Sorry.” He said quietly. The tears stopped for a while, as he was tired. “Anyway, come on. There’s an inn that will let you stay for free, run by two older people. Let’s stay there okay?” he asked.

Anne pulled Bear back to a close hold, "Sure, that's fine with me. How terrible to be taken away from your friend. And to be placed in a deep sleep aswell. Don't worry, we'll rest one night and scrape up some money to return to my Mum. It's been years since I've been home and I really wanted to wait until Cherie recovers her memory to return home. Guess, that will just have to wait."

Samuel smiled and let himself be carried. “Okay… I’m kind of interesting, so we could put on a street act. People like seeing dancing bears you know?” he said thoughtfully. “And in the meantime, those people should let us stay… hopefully.” He said, writing out the directions to the inn. He rubbed his eyes and noticed more oil. “Oh… I should probably fix myself up too before anything else… I think I’ve started running out of blood…”

"I don't think that will be necessery(sorry it's late XD). I'll just do a part time job until we get enought money, I mean I am staying in this country for seven months." Anne gasped a little, she knelted down and placed Bear on the ground. "Will you be alright Bear-kun?" She stroked his stuffed head, "I can help out too ya know, I'm good with mechanics."

Samuel smiled and shook his head. "No no, I just need to visit a blood bank is all..." he said thoughtfully. He suddenly thought about vampries and wondered if they came out at night. "Come on, let's go." he said taking her hand, as a human again, and walking towards the inn. He smiled, happy to be with someone again. Life alone was sad, but a teddy bear needs company to live so Samuel had just found his lifeline.

Anne stopped before the entrance, "Shouldn't we go to the bloodbank first for you health's sake? I would be devastated if you die on me you know." Anne grinned, "I pretty much have all the time in the world right now." Suddenly, clouds rolled in, and thunder could be heard. People around them began to scurry to their homes or destinations. "It's about to rain..." Anne said sadly, "We'll just have to buy an umbrella and keep going."

Samuel looked up at her and chuckled. "Sure, but I think I'll outlast you and your kids. Don't worry about my health, bears live a very long time..." he said softly. He looked up at the sky and blinked. "Thunder...? Haven't heard this in years..." he said curiously. "If lightning strikes me I think I'll be eating my words so lets go without the umbrella for now okay?" he asked, taking off his jacket and holding it above her head. "The bank is a few blocks ahead." He said, walking off.

Anne blushed and followed, "Oh ok, that's a relief that you will be ok." Anne ran from under Bear and twirled around in the rain. "It's been years since I've been in rain! Being in that brutal incampment I never experienced weather until now!" Anne's eyes were closed, and she had her face to the sky. The droplets of water was soothing to her. Suddenly, she began to shake.

Samuel watched curiously for a while and nodded. "Well, considering that you're probably going to get sick pretty easily..." he said, starting to notice her tremble. He lifted an eyebrow and walked over. "See, you're already cold." he said patting her on the head. He then pointed to her egg. "And that egg should probably stay warm... unless you're planning on eating him." he said. Samuel laughed, something he hadn't done in a while. It didn't last long though as the taste of oil drifted into his mouth. He scratched the back of his head again uneasily but tried to ignore it. "Why'd you go to camp anyway? Your mom's idea over the summer or something?"

Anne was laughing as she trembled. She held her egg close, "I'm not cold, i'm crying." She chuckled, "It's nothing really, I'm just overjoyed that I get to see outside again." Anne looked back at Bear with teary eyes, though you could not tell in the rain. "Let's hurry to the blood bank shall we?"

Samuel nodded. "Strange, someone gave me the same look when I broke her out of prison." he said. He thought about it for a while. "What kind of camp where you in anyway? Don't people usually stay outside? Sounds like you were stuck inside your whole life..." he said, walking a bit faster to the bank. He could almost see it in the distance now.

"In the counrty Gale, they believe that the 'Strong live and the weak die'. So only the ones that live a comfortable or rich life can live in peace. For the ones that live a life of poverty or disease, they are sent to a camp." Anne looked down at her feet as she continued to walk, "You may be wondering, 'But you're a princess?' Yes, that's true I am. But they took me anyway. I was seven, our country was at war with Gale at the time. My father, the king, wanted to stop the inhumane things that they do to those sent to the camp. For at the camp, they treat the people like lab rats, forcing painful and deadly tests on them just to come up with new products to please others." Anne cackled a bit, "And if you die in the process, they fed you to the fish in that artificial lake of theirs." Anne reached into her pocket and took out her lighter and lit her pipe, "So yeah, I was taken away. On your way there they lie and say that they were taking you to a better place. They did this to make you comfortable, vunerable. And while they fattened you up and took health exams on you, they put a certain medication in your food that cleared your mind and made you forget the life you lived back then. Luckily for me, I hid from all the commotion." Anne blew a puff and a look of annoyance filled her face. "That is roughly what really goes on inside of that place. What you are looking at my friend is a mere husk of healthy girl. I say this because I'm dying. No, I haven't been to a doctor, but I know it is happening." Anne stopped before the blood bank. "We're here.

Samuel watched her as they arrived at the bank. He wondered if she was still human like he wasn’t but decided to think for a while as he picked up his blood. “…Wait here…” he said softly, still deep in thought and left inside the building. He came back, coughing a bit but showed her the small glass. “Right, let’s go… the inn is this way.” He said pointing in the direction. Her story had been shortly after he’d left back home and ended up in the city. Samuel had felt a pang of guilt knowing this, but couldn’t help but wonder why no one had done anything about it. Of course, where he’d come from, human experimentation was only voluntary and he’d been created through it. He put the jar in his pocket and moved some of the hair out from in front of his face to talk. “Why’d…” he glanced at the pipe and sighed. “Where were your parents during this time? I mean, Meredith would have never… and you’re father’s a king why didn’t he…” He stopped talking and sighed. “You know, it’s not good to smoke if you’re in bad health. Or if you’re around small children.” He said, pointing to the egg. He wanted to punch a hole in one of the cars that passed by; still he kept his cool and crossed his arms.
